Attended a wedding recently catered by these people. The lady was rude straight out of her vehicle. It was far from a good meal. We were told steaks were marinated and tender and could be cut with a fork. They were very hard to stab with a fork and steak knife and tasteless. The salads were not up to par either. The ceaser was wilted and soggy with dressing and no croutons. The taco salad was undescribeable. Not like any taco salad I have ever eaten. Potato salad was drowned in mayo, like a soup. Terrible. The bride and groom were set up for 90 and only had 70 guests. They were told the left overs would be wrapped and left for snacks. Caterers kept steaks and left the horrible salads which got dumped in composter. Not a service I would ever recommend to anyone. And I am being nice.

We asked chefs from away to cater a dinner for us and our neighbours when unfortunately restrictions prevented larger gatherings . They accommodated us with divided portions, delivered the meals to our separate destinations and the comments from all were how delicious it was. To the level of this is one of the best meals I’ve had in ages ! Thank you Chefs for being so flexible and so conscientious to deliver high quality meals ! Cheers

Working with Shawn and Andrea was a breeze, their attention to detail was key to the success of our event. We contract Chefs from away to cater this years NSCC Student verse Faculty Base Ball game. The event went off with out issues and the food was delicious. Their service was exceptional and with a friendly smile. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a catering option! looing forward to having them back on additional projects this year! Cheers

We had a small house warming that was Catered by Chef’s Shawn & Andrea. Not only was the food amazing & the service great we discovered that on our moving day a month prior to this date we had an incident with blocking off the road with the U haul carrying our furniture. One of the vehicle’s that was trying to get by was a Jeep. Well instead of turning around and detouring they got out the their Jeep and tried to help with all the resources they had with them, staying at least a couple of hours. So imagine how surprised we were when Chefs From Away van pulled up to deliver the food and out jumped Shawn & Andrea. So not only is the service and food amazing with these two , they are also willing to help complete strangers on a Saturday afternoon. Shawn & Andrea. Thank you

I have had several amazing experiences with the Chefs from Away! They are super easy to work with, organized, professional and the food is delicious. They easily are able to accommodate for vegetarians as well. They have a passion for their work that shines through all they do!

This review is long overdue - Chefs From Away is INCREDIBLE - we're so fortunate to have the talent, customer service, passion and kindness that Chef Shawn and Andrea have. In supporting recruitment of new physicians and healthcare providers I've used them in a variety of settings - many in which their creativity and talent shines brightly - from presenting a chefs night meal expected in urban cities, to online cooking classes to bring together physicians during the pandemic, to short-term accommodations, meal delivery and much. I've never left a meal with them hungry or without enjoying or learning about a new ingredient or technique. They're often my first phone call for special events - and so glad for how responsive, creative and flexible they are. Consummate professionals, and a treat, always!
