Words cannot describe this little piece of heaven. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we booked Little John Farm on a whim. From the moment we arrived Zach was so hospitable, he took us to tour the farm and meet the animals, showed us to our room. The passion this couple have for healthy eating and farming is so impressive. The accommodations were clean and perfect. The food - out of this world! Fresh eggs, fresh baked bread every morning, meats and veggies all food directly from their garden - so amazing! Luhanna is sweet, kind and the most genuine person I have ever met. She took us on an amazing wine tour, packed a beautiful picnic lunch and was just so much fun to get to know. The food, the hosts, the accommodation and the experience will not disappoint. I highly recommend Little John Farm. I can't wait to go back!

FIVE OUTSTANDING STARS. My partner and I just returned from a fun, relaxing, intriguing and interesting two days at Zach and Luhana's farm stay. Upon arrival Zach showed us around their farm introducing us to their goats (Abby and "kids"), pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, gardens, orchard and comfortable accommodations. Luhana was so warm and welcoming pouring us a crisp rose to enjoy with our sourdough bread and quick flat bread we made together. Zach proceeded to "whip" up various healthy dishes all made with gifts from their garden; cucumber / onion salad, fresh beets, cauliflower purée with I don't-know-what-but-tasted-great, Luhana's egg salad with homemade dill pickle, zucchini/ potatoe something or other...a perfect lunch! Zach is a professional chef from Toronto and shared his passion of fresh, wholesome food. Together, the next morning we made fruit purée galette to go along side of Luhana's tea biscuits, Zach's pork-potato-egg-cheese-onion frittata. Both Luhana and Zach are easy to talk to, have great taste in "cooking / eating" music at their "come-eat-with-us table" and have inspiring stories to share about their lives and decision to start their business together. They have jams, mason jars of pickled beans, pickles, etc available for sale upon departure and NEVER once "pushed" their product. What a wonderful, summer, two-day, Ontario mini-vacay. We left with our own sourdough starter, flour and lots of zucchini from their garden!

This is my second time in this wonderful small paradise. Everything has a special touch and you can see it in all details: the food, the rooms, the wine, the hosts and the workshops. Littlejohn Farm is a piece of heaven on earth. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. But what makes this place special is how Luhana and Zach take care after their beautiful property. Beautiful green gardens full of tasteful veggies that are used by Zach to prepare delicious meals and happy and healthy animals in the barn are the result of Luhana and Zach's love for their farm. Not only what is around is beautiful, but the house is very comfortable and clean, the rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, the bed is really comfy with soft and clean sheets. Luhana and Zach are very attentive and excellent hosts. Everytime that I go to the Littlejohn Farm, they provide me an exclusive service that I won't probably find anywhere else. My sisters and I recently did a wine tour with Luhana as our guide. It was excellent!!! I loved that Luhana took us to smaller wineries which we otherwise would not have known to check out. She also prepared us a picnic and the food was incredibbbleeeeee. The pate (which her husband made!!) was sooooo good as well as the galette. We were truly stunned by how amazing it was. My girlfriends and I were in PEC to celebrate our mutual birthdays and decided to treat ourselves to an escorted wine tour with Littlejohn Farm. Luhana was just like one of the girls as she took us around the County - it was so much fun. She knew the best places to take us and had a comfy ride with water and music inbetween destinations. The best part was the FABULOUS picnic lunch that she brought for us prepared by her partner who is a chef at their farm. Serious farm to table delicacy perfectly paired with a bottle of vino outside. To say that my experience with the husband/wife duo from Littlejohn Farm was unparalleled would be a complete understatement! Luhana worked tirelessly to cater a marvelous harvest dinner at The Ridge Closson Chase Winery, working with all my restrictions, requests and even last minute modifications! The whole experience was magical and surreal!! The dinner consisted of 3 courses and 7 plates, each of which were wine paired with impeccable wine from Closson Chase and each plate described by Zack detailing the source of all the ingredients found on our plates. The complexity of all the components on each plate showed how much attention to detail Zack put into his work. A duck dish was not simply duck, it was Muscovy Duck, both braised breast and confit leg meat, with stoneground polenta, brassicas, truffle jus topped with crispy french onion rings. The ability to create dishes of that caliber with playing not only with taste components but marrying that with a variety of textures is what makes this true artistry. The table setting and décor was stunning and elegant! I cannot recall the last time I walked into a room with my jaw dropped. This was one of the best culinary experiences I have had to date and all 17 guests echoed my remarks as well. I cannot wait to work with these two lovely hosts in the future, and plan to host many more events at their farm and/in collaboration with a winery. Luhana and Zack, I cannot thank you enough for being the highlight of the weekend. I am still getting goosebumps thinking about the experience!! I knew it was going to be special but it far exceeded anything I could have ever envisioned. Thank you!!! xx

Great farm experience! We were greeted with home made cookies, pigs, ducks, goats, chickens and a wonderful garden. Very comfortable rooms for a restful sleep. If you want, Luana and Zac can prepare exquisite meals made from fresh ingredients they get right there. Our boys loved playing with the animals. We had a great and relaxing weekend! Can''t say enough about our amazing girls day doing a wine tour with Luhana. From the first moment she picked us up at the June Motel we all knew it was going to be a great day. Luhana is super easy to talk with and made the day comfortable from the start. She had awesome recommendations but was also more then happy to bring us to places we had on our bucket list. We took our time at each winery and had the most amazing lunch straight from Little John Farm. Delicious fresh made food in a beautiful picnic basket! Amazing hosts! My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago with our two-year-old daughter and our friends and their baby. We didn't quite know what to expect because there were no pictures of the house, but were pleasantly surprised to find it so quaint and charming. The rooms were very comfortable and Zac and Luana did everything they could to make us feel at home. It was so fun to walk around the property and see their garden. And the kids loved the animals! Breakfast in the morning was so delicious too. Through Zac and Luana's warm hospitality, our weekend getaway was truly relaxing, informative, and a perfect retreat from the city. You can tell that they love what they do and they love sharing it with others. Even though we didn't know them at all before, we really left feeling like they were close friends!

We were planning to stay in the area for my bachelorette party and were having trouble finding a wine tour company available for our date. Luckily I found Littlejohn Farm offers wine tours via a Google search. I sent an email via their website and Luhana contacted me in response within a few minutes. She was so lovely via our email conversations and super accommodating (we wanted to go and visit a brewery instead of one of the wineries and we also had a few food related restrictions for some of the girls in our group). She picked us up at our AirBnB rental in Brighton, ON (far from her farm!) and drove us around all day in a nice SUV with plenty of air conditioning, room, and water. We stopped at Hillier Winery, Traynor Wines, Hinterland Wines, the Prince Edward Lavender farm (where we had an incredible picnic - more on that later!), Clauson Chase winery, then finally Midtown Brewing as our last stop. Luhana waited for us patiently at each place and never made us feel rushed. Luhana prepared us the most epic picnic lunch I have ever seen - we were totally spoiled!! She made fresh salads with gardens from her farm, local award winning cheeses, local charcuterie, home made sauces, fresh baguette, along with pickles made at her farm. It was absolutely heavenly!! We also had an opportunity to chat with Luhana as she shared the story of how her and her husband came to own Littlejohn Farm. We had an unforgettable day and cannot thank Luhana enough. Highly highly recommend!! Looking forward to staying at the farm someday!!

This place hit the mark for our PEC wine tour. Luhana and Zach are very nice people; accommodating and welcoming. They even dropped us off in Picton for dinner and collected us afterwards. Breakfasts and picnic lunches were superb. The hobby farm, complete with goats, was a hit. Luhana's chauffeured wine tours are great. The Supper Club dinner we attended was terrific; Zach prepared a fine 9 course tasting experience.

What a wonderful place! I have visited Littlejohn Farm twice now - once for a wine tour and again for their Sourdough Workshop. Both experiences were beyond amazing. Zach is incredibly talented and knowledgeable on so many different topics from wine and cooking, to raising animals and growing the most delicious vegetables. Luhana and Zach are both such gracious hosts and were so kind and welcoming. Our group thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Word of advice if you enrol in the Sourdough workshop (which you should! Highly recommend!) - wear stretchy pants because the food is plentiful and it’s all so delicious that you just can’t stop eating ;)

Littlejohn Farm was the perfect venue for our staff appreciation night. We enjoyed a beautiful 4 course harvest dinner and the entire night was spectacular. Everything was wonderful, from the booking process right to the end of the evening, where we wrapped ourselves in cozy blankets, while we finished our desert under twinkle lights. Exactly as you can imagine a country harvest dinner, is what we received. Luhana and Zack are the perfect hosts who curated the dinner menu to accommodate our requests. We booked a private wine tour with Luhana for a very rainy Saturday. She tailored the winery selection according to our preferences and was such a lovely guide the whole day! The picnic at the end of our tour was delicious (pickles, various spreads, cured meats and cheeses - the aged goat cheese with truffle was a standout). For Mother’s Day I treated my mom to the Sourdough Workshop, something for us to do together. It was incredible! While I’d like to say I learnt a lot about sourdough, it was the full experience that we gained from. Zach and Luhana were spectacular hosts and I cannot wait to do another workshop with them. The farm is adorable, I’m sure Zach would roll his eyes at the word adorable with the amount of work they have put into the property. My girlfriends and I booked a private wine tour with Littlejohn Farm. Zach was a great host. He took us to some fabulous wineries and provided recommendations on which wines to taste. We also stopped at Prince Edward County Lavender after one of the girls in our group mentioned that she was trying to grow lavender from seeds. Zach’s knowledge of wine and the County, as well as his warm disposition, made this wine tour a wonderful experience for our entire group. We will be booking a workshop at Littlejohn Farm for our next visit to the County!

We participated in the farm to plate experience with 2 other families (12 people in total). OMG - we were all saying this was the highlight of our summer! Which is very high compliments considering we each own a cottage in Prince Edward County which is full of entertainment and dining options. Zach was an amazing and friendly host with so much knowledge and passion for farming and the environment. We all learned something new and interesting about sustainable farming. The farm to plate experience far exceeded our expectations. The kids loved it too and were very eager to participate in all of the many farming activities!! The meal was nothing short of outstanding. One of, if not the best meals we have had in a very long time. We will be bragging about that to friends and family for the next while no doubt! There are many other surprises that I won’t share. Definitely a more personal feel than traditional tours - would highly recommend if you’re visit the county!

I cannot begin to adequately put into words what a wonderful, memorable, and special day Luhana created for my husband and I. We recently traveled to Prince Edward County for a short getaway and was fortunate to find LittleJohn Farm while researching the area. Wanting to visit some local wineries, we booked Luhana for a private wine tour. Our adventure began at 10:30am when Luhana picked us up at the doorstep of our hotel. We were treated to a day of great wine, warm people, beautiful scenery, and the most AMAZING picnic lunch (made with fresh ingredients from Littlejohn farm and a whole lot of love!) Luhana is a very special person who quickly makes you feel as though you are life long friends. Her love of Prince Edward County and farm to table living is infectious and you can’t help but feel inspired by their story (it’s what good books and movies are made of!). To anyone looking to book a wine tour, you have found your host! We absolutely loved our time in Prince Edward County – it is a special place and good for the soul.
