We recently took a historic (socially distant) tour of a Picton cemetery guided by Picton native Peter Lockyer and it was an amazing experience! Peter is extremely knowleadgeable of the area's history, and he shares it by telling fascinating stories of people and times that marked the rich history of PEC. He is so passionate about preserving and promoting the county's historic heritage and educating visitors in the most graceful and captivating way possible, it is impossible not to want to know more about the past after one of his tours! Hopefully on our next visit to Picton, when the world returns to normal, we will be able to take a tour in Peter's iconic, restored historyliveshere.ca truck!
