Quality shows for free! Get there early if you want to be able to see much though. Centre is reserved seating, the rest is just ok. If you are short like me - plan ahead! You can bring a chair or rent one (or bring a blanket). Lots of food and drink options, a few bathrooms - be sure to explore - there are more than you may think :) A great concert venue, and you can't argue with the price!

We saw Big Wreck, and we had a lovely time. Stayed at the Holiday Inn, located right next door, and the concert venue was beautiful. The grounds were well kept, the mix was solid, attendance was high, and admission was free. Great to see so many people enjoying a beautiful summer’s night while enjoying and supporting live music.

Wednesdays and Saturdays from end of June until Labour Day. This is a free event in a very nice setting but in some ways has become too big for its terrific venue. It's a huge natural amphitheater but when bigger names appear you need to arrive a couple of hours early to claim a patch of grass with a decent view of the talent. If you're OK with that, grab a picnic dinner and settle in for a great night of entertainment.

Go to the peterborough music festival every year for 5he past four years and get to see the old bands I never got to see back in the day,,,,and at the peterborough music festival it's FREE, ,,can't beat that,,,mind y from oshawa it's a bit of a drive but I don't mind it cause I go visit my parents before the concerts there only a couple of blocks away from it and I can hear 4je bands if they start while I'm still at parents place

Peterborough music festival is a great place to bring your family. Every Wednesday night and Saturday nights throughout the summer, great bands come and play and put on a free concert. Yes it's free to get in. I've posted a picture of this years (2019) line up of who's playing. Peterborough rocks, great place to live and visit.

Free outdoor concerts every Wednesday and Saturday at 8 p.m. sharp. Wide range of paid performers from local to international artists. Bring a small blanket or lawn chair. On-site parking is limited, so, you may have to park on a local street and walk a few minutes.
