Well it was for our Christmas work party, so we had the hall for ourselves. Very nice and clean. Waitresses were very polite and everyone followed protocol. Only @ your table are you allowed w/o the masks. Once leaving the dining area masks are mandatory. You need to put your name and phone number on the guest list and hand sanitize before entering the dining area. Enjoyed the food, although wish we had more of a selection. Overall I enjoyed the night. Would definitely recommend.

This venue is one of THE best in the Durham Region. This is not the first nor will it be the last time we have events here. So close to the highway for arriving guests, loads of parking, a beautiful atmosphere inside and out, great service throughout the evening, amazing food (both taste and presentation). And I cannot say enough about how amazing and accommodating and attentive Rebecca and her entire staff are before and during the event. From all of us at The Denise House Shelter - Thank You!!

Invited there as part of a government volunteer recognition effort. Had seen the place from the highway but had never been in it. Looks like a good, and very clean, option to host your function of you're in Durham. Big main floor and sizeable common space.

Very nice venue. Attended a wedding here for 200+ people. More than enough space. Food was great, staff was respectful and out of the way. Coat check available, good washrooms, ample parking, easy to access. Uber and Lyft service the area as well and there are two hotels nearby to stay in.

My sister had her wedding and reception here. Although it was decorated nicely and the food was good, there needs to be extra security hired. This place has 2 halls and another reception was going on in the other one beside ours. For starters, they had their music so loud it was over powering our dj (who was loud!) and it ruined special dances because all we could here were dance club beats. We told the event worker but she didn't do anything about it. Also, throughout the night, guest from THE OTHER WEDDING were sneaking into ours to get free drinks from the bar because we had an open bar and there's was pay bar. When we told two girls to leave they said "oh we were invited!" No they weren't. We had no idea who they were and why the security allowed them to come in.

Attended the banquet hall for our company Christmas Party. The hall was very spacious and the tables were setup very nicely. The food was pretty good. I had the prime rib. The slice was super thin and a little cold for my liking. But it still tasted good. My date had the chicken. She received 2 chicken breasts and said it was delicious. I should have gone with the chicken as mine left me hungry. All in all the service was great and we had a great time.

Went to Tosca today to look at it as a wedding venue. We had an appointment and when we walked in the smell of dirty kitchen oil hit us. Then we waited around and when someone came to show us around she asked if we had an appointment. Then she pointed at the open door to the hall and said here is the hall. Awkward silence as I thought she was joking. Then I asked to see the tent. She asked when our date is and I answered "maybe October 2020" which was asked of me on the phone when I booked. She then said I don't need to see the tent because they pack it up in October. She then asked if we wanted to put down a deposit to hold the date. I left explaining how poor of experience this was and I regret taking a vacation day to go there.

Just had our wedding reception at Tosca this past weekend and the staff were absolutely horrible. They forced all of our guests to wear a ridiculous orange bracelet, as if we were entering a pre teen dance. The staff were extremely unhelpful and actually quite rude the entire night, even refusing to put out our homemade deserts, which they had agreed to do previously. They were even reluctant to give the wifi password to the DJ, which is just embarrassing. I would not suggest renting this space for an event, let alone your wedding.

This venue went above and beyond to make our day special. Zenaida and Rebecca were amazing at facilitating everything, they did more than we expected. They accommodated all our requests considering it was a wedding in the middle of the pandemic, the kept in contact with us even during the worst times of the pandemic, very professional yet understanding and considerate. The food was delicious, from hors d'oeuvres to dessert. They were so hands on and were able to fix any issues the occured without affecting our celebration. Can't thank them enough.

I highly recommend this venue for your future events! We just had our wedding at Tosca a couple of weeks ago. The wedding/events coordinator, Rebecca, was great to work with! Planning a wedding during a pandemic had its uncertainties, but Rebecca always responded to my emails promptly which I appreciated. Our guests LOVED the food at our reception, and many commented on how kind and accommodating the staff were. Tosca was truly a dream to work with from beginning to end. A huge thank you to Rebecca, Zeneida, and the ENTIRE team for helping us create a memorable night! We are grateful for your hard work! :)

We have a wedding booked here, with the new restrictions covid has brought we were worried about our guest minimum.we called and asked if they could do anything. Within half a day they had called us back with a solution and a work around. They dropped our guest minimum and did everything they could to ensure us we wouldn't be penitlized for the much smaller guest list.

Tosca Banquet Hall ambience and foods are a perfect combination to our elegant Valentine Gala 2020. The building itself standa alone along hiway 401 on its gold colors. Lots of parking spaces. Has been my favourite venue twice qhen the event is important. Bringing your guests to this venue elevates the organizers' standards.

The venue and staff at Tosca Banquet hall were superb. We began to plan our wedding in February of 2020 and then COVID 19 hit Canada and threw everything into chaos. We began with a venue to support 100 people but ended a little smaller. However with the space fully set you could see how easily they could accommodate a wedding of our original size or larger. Rebecca was there throughout the process to answer any of our questions and help us navigate the restrictions so that we could throw a wedding that was fun and safe for us and all of our guests. Our flurry of emails were answered quickly and enabled us to continue with the planning process without delay. The wait and bar staff were very friendly and made sure that the night went smoothly. The food was delicious with great portion sizes. Many of our guests complimented us on the meals. Finally, the back gazebo is perfect for photos and the interior was set up beautifully for the ceremony, We would definitely recommend this venue. Thank you for all you did for us.

We held our wedding here this past weekend, and despite these hard times during covid, our wedding was one to remember, even though it was small. Rebecca always answered any questions I had promptly, I was never kept waiting and I had a lot of questions. The venue is gorgeous. We had our ceremony in their garden and reception in their tent, and everything just had a nice feel to it. My day was perfect thanks to everyone at Tosca. Everyone complimented food. Everything was cooked to perfection, and no one left hungry. Thanks again, we will remember this day forever :)

My daughter got married on Feb.29, 2020. She arranged her own Reception at Tosca and the staff was excellent! The wedding was at 2:00pm, & the party started at 5:00pm. They allowed us in at 10:30am to get the tables set up, flowers to arrive, cake to arrive, and the DJ's to get their equipment set up. They have a very small bridal suite, so I would suggest that Brides and their Bridesmaids prepare to get dressed elsewhere. The large Banquet Hall has two Bars which kept the lineups to a bare minimum. The Staff were efficient and very polite. Whatever we needed, they provided. They offer several types of dinner choices and do their best to accommodate food allergies. We had 15 tables with approx. 150 people and everything went as smooth as silk. The only issue was table arrangements and that was my fault for not checking with staff first. The sound system for speeches & announcements was excellent. We provided our own DJ's, but Tosca may have their own people. You'll have to ask. As for pricing, I can't comment (yet) because I'm waiting for the final bill LOL. Overall, it was a great experience and I think everyone was well fed and had a great time! Thank you Tosca!!!

The Tent where the Ceremony took place looked very nice and clean. After the Ceremony, the Cocktail hour was in their beautiful Garden. Had a great time,can not say enough about this place. Dont waste your money on an open bar. I was a groomsman and their doorman cut me off after 2 Tom Collins then insisted on babysitting me the rest of the night which was a total downer as I was looking forward to that night for a year in advance.

My son and new daughter inlaw had there wedding at Tosca on May 26 2018. I cant say enough about this venue. From the moment we booked the hall. To the day of the wedding. The staff at Tosca especially Hailey. Were nothing but professional. They met our ever need. From dietary restrictions to bar menu. The food was exceptionally good. The size of the hall was perfect for the 170 guests we had. I look forward to going to another event at Tosca.

We held my wife's Birthday/Retirement Celebration at Tosca and was thoroughly satisfied. From our initial consultation meeting and all throughout the process we were treated with the utmost professionalism by everyone. Any and all questions throughout the process were promptly addressed. During the event the serving staff was extremely polite and professional and assisted when ever needed. We had the plated dinner option that had roast beef or chicken as options, and they were able to accommodate GF/Dairy Free and vegetarian dishes as well. Food was served at proper temperature and was absolutely delicious. Beautiful décor and a very smooth ambience. Will definitely use them again. HIGHLY recommend this venue.

We celebrated my parents' 50th anniversary there and the food was amazing. Salad, a good-sized portion of prime rib, and an ice cream-filled crepe for dessert. The facilities are very clean too. I recommend this place for your next large event.
