It was amazing having Jessy and Laurence help us the months leading up to the wedding and then the day itself. Having people around who have done it all before and really understand how important the day is is such a great feeling. Every second and every detail of the day was mapped out and it all went off without a hitch. Both girls are a pleasure to work with and can turn a pretty high stress day into something you can actually appreciate and enjoy in the moment. From Marlee and I, thank you for everything.

I was living in Asia at the time that I was planning to have our wedding destination in Canada. I have never been to Canada (I know it’s crazy) that’s why I think of our wedding as “wedding impossible”. Thankfully, I found Stori events at the wedding wire. It’s crazy how the team managed to make everything work with the little span of time for planning (less than a month!), how they managed to communicate through e-mail without any delay nor miscommunications despite the 12-hour time difference, and how they were very flexible with our cancellation/change of wedding date. They provided me with every option, made sure every little detail is what I wanted. They are indeed the dream team of every bride could wish for! I can’t put into words how thankful I am that they made my dream wedding come true. If I had to re-do our wedding all over again, I will still choose Jessy and Laurence as wedding planners! :)

From the moment I met Jessy and Laurence, I knew that they were the team to help our wedding dreams come true! They were very responsive from the beginning and flexible in meeting, as this was important to us before committing to a planning team. We ultimately hired STORI events for their month-of-coordination services and it was one of the most important, and best, decisions we ever made. The time investment it takes to confirm, coordinate and ensure that there are no missing elements to, and on, this momentous day is significant and I did not have the desire or band-width required for this immense task. It takes experience and impeccable attention to detail to recognize that little things that would ordinarily potentially slide, such as we needed 30 minutes more of our photographer with our timeline and the salt and pepper shakers needed salt and pepper in them (yes, Jessy ran out to take care of this and I never knew). Everything magically came together with the very hard work and dedication of Jessy and Laurence. They were always so gracious and true problem-solvers. There was never any question that they could not provide a solution for, and that is the kind of attitude that you need on the day of your wedding. Not once was I ever stressed about a wedding detail, I just showed up and it was all perfect! I highly recommend STORI events for any of your wedding planning needs!

Working with Stori events for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Jessy was so amazing to work with and made the wedding process so easy. We hired her for the month of coordination package but she was always available even before our month started to answer any questions we had. As soon as we went to our month of meeting we handed everything over to her and she was so organized contacting all our vendors and creating our Run of Show. On the day of our wedding, we had no stress as we knew that Jessy would be there to handle anything that might have gone wrong (which nothing did). It was the most perfect wedding day and I truly give credit to Jessy for making it that. My now husband and I got married last month, and we have said multiple times that the best money we spent on the wedding was Laurence and Jessy at Stori Events. Although we hired them for ‘month of coordination,’ Laurence and Jessy were in touch and available during the whole planning process and were invaluable when it came to answering our many questions, anticipating possible pandemic stressors and putting our minds at ease. On the big day it poured rain, and we’ve never seen two people jump into action faster while remaining so attentive and composed. They made sure to include us in the big decisions while protecting us from the inconsequential stressors, which allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves despite the chaos around us. We always knew we were in good hands with them and the wedding day really proved that they are able to respond to whatever is thrown at them. My now wife and I got married in August 2021, and BY FAR the best investment and decision we made in preparing for our event was to trust in Laurence and Jessy at Stori Events. All of our vendors did an incredible job, and Laurence and Jessy went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect. We had sudden rain that caused some serious changes the day of the wedding, and we were so impressed at how calm and decisive Laurence and Jessy were. As stressful as it was to delay our start time and make changes on the fly, we were confident knowing that we were in good hands. And that is in large part to the professionalism of Laurence and Jessy, and their patience in working with us months in advance of our day. It was the attention to the little details, the helpful reminders, the frequent check ups, the planning tools/advice leading up to the wedding that built our confidence in Laurence and Jessy. Day of the wedding, they were rockstars. We heard from several of our guests how impressed they were with the coordinators, and we would agree. Stori Events will always get our highest recommendation and praise. There aren't enough thanks to Laurence and Jessy for their work to ensure our wedding day was amazing.

Working with STORI for our wedding was a dream, my husband and I had been planning our wedding with Jessy and Laurence for almost 2 years - STORI supported us with Month of Coordination and Design & Decor. Having no idea where to start STORI helped us source vendors and partners they'd worked with before and we were able to find a great team of vendors to bring our special day to life. Always keeping us on track with monthly check-ins and gentle reminders of what we needed to do. When COVID-19 hit, Jessy and Laurence jumped in immediately to help us navigate, letting us know that we could tentative place holds for 2021 as the pandemic unfolded. When we decided to go ahead with a smaller COVID wedding, Jessy and Laurence helped us re-envision the day, moving from a restaurant to a backyard. Seamlessly coordinating all the updates with our vendors and letting us know the options that weren't previously available to us (Throwing petals!). With the pandemic regulations changing frequently, we had a pivot a few times - finding a new officiant and caterer within a month of the wedding. With all the stress, Jessy and Laurence stayed calm, supportive and reassuring that we'd make it work - finding us options for replacement services before we even knew we needed to make a new decision. Among all the changes, the details didn't get lost. STORI has so many options for welcome signs, place setting cards and a card box readily available within their inventory, making it so simple for us. Jessy and Laurence helped us imagine a ceremony where we could include friends and family that were attending virtually - sharing our cake cutting and speeches in the ceremony itself. The flow of the day was amazing, everything planned down to the minute and everything was completely accounted for, considered and executed better than we could have ever imagine.

We recently worked with Laurence and Jessy for the first time. As a mobile DJ company, we place a lot of importance on our relationship with other vendors. This definitely includes wedding planners. As such, we can undeniably say that working with them was awesome! They are very detailed in their planning and then deliver a high level of quality. And they do so with a smile and stress-free service. We definitely endorse their services and strongly recommend them for any wedding. We can't say enough great things about Jessy and Laurence. They helped us make it through a very stressful period after many changes that had to take place due to the pandemic. We are super happy with the final result. During the planning stage, Jessy and Laurence provided great suggestions around vendors. When one of the vendors we hired on our own, fell through, the next day Jessy already had 10 recommendations lined up and ready to take a call. I was so impressed with the quickness in their responses and ability to just turn it around. I don't know how they have time to manage all that they do. Leading up to the event, they created a super thorough ROS and were flexible in making adjustments as things changed. Everyone commented on how detailed it was. They also did proper check ins with our vendors and that helped everything go smoothly on the actual day. On the actual event day is really when they shined, stick handling everything related to our venue and vendors. All in all, if you need wedding planners, Stori is amazing at what they do. We had another planner prior and it was a clear difference how much better Jessy and Laurence are...even though the other one was highly rated as well. I have very high expectations and Stori was able to meet it.

Planning an event is never an easy task. With numerous opinions from friends and family about venues, food and decor, the task seemed overwhelming for my fiancée (now wife) and I. A friend recommended Stori Events to us and we booked a consultation. We had seen other event planners prior but Jessy and Laurence were the first to really take the time to build an event that took our tastes and interests to heart. Groom here, married September 2021 at a family property. Where to start? Laurence and Jessy are fantastic, caring, and demonstrate the highest level of professionalism. My Fiancé did most of the initial planning and was adamant that we hired Stori Events for the big day. I was reluctant at first but it is the best money we've ever spent. From the get go, they were responsive, organized, and detail-oriented. Looking back from the other side of the wedding, their approach is the reason why our special day went off without a single hitch.
