Living in Toronto and planning our wedding in Mexico was tough but The Eventeur made it easy throughout the entire process. We genuinely couldn't thank the amazingly talented Mahla for her support and love on our wedding day! She never stopped, every minute was spent ensuring everything was exactly how wanted. We can not recommend this wedding planning company enough!

The Eventeur team was so amazing! We just got back from our destination wedding and can not say enough good things about the team and all of their vendors. Not only were they professional, but they all worked insanely hard to bring our vision to life. Plus, we had a super quick timeline (only 6 months of planning) and they helped us navigate all of the decisions without any struggles. If there is one piece of advice i'd give to someone working with their team - listen to what they are saying and take their recommendations! Without those, our wedding day wouldn't have been as great as it was. A HUGE thank you to the entire Eventeur team!

Hiring this team was the best decision we made!! Everything was taken care of like CLOCKWORK. Yes they take care of the florist, venue, cater, bar, staff, DJ, officiation, transit, photographers, videographer, security flights, all the staff that go with it, so on and so forth. Yes they make sure everything is perfectly tuned to who you are and what you love (your wedding is a reflection of you and they make sure you’re your best self). And Yes they’re with you throughout the entire journey. But for me, the real reason why I cant imagine anyone doing a wedding without them is that they orchestrate it all. I'm not talking about just making sure people do things on time (which they do like clockwork). I'm talking about orchestrating everything for your guests, everything from their happiness, unique needs (dietary or otherwise), where they need to be (by when), who’s present who’s not, medical conditions (emergencies or otherwise), all the anxiety that comes with it, and all the little details you’d think you could handle (you can't) —> they take care of it! My wedding week was the greatest time of my life largely because of this team, I had zero worries the entire time and truly felt like I'm a relaxed soul on cloud 9, we felt like royalty. We can’t thank them enough and love the entire team dearly.

Mahla and her team did a an amazing job organizing everything from the beginning to end. We were specially pleased on the day and night of the wedding where we didn't have to worry about anything. Without their team this wedding would not have been possible. They have very good networks and work with very trustworthy vendors. Basically they just make anything you want possible. Couldn't have asked for a better company to plan our wedding!

Amazing Team - Fully Recommend!! My husband and I got married in Tulum, Mexico in February 2019 and it was truly one of the most magical experiences and in large part because of Mahla and her team! As someone from the events industry, I had certain ideas in my head that I wanted, and they made them a reality and allowed me to stay sane by not having to worry about a single detail. We envisioned our wedding as a time when all our family could vacation and spend time with eachother and their team's support system made that happen. I've never heard so many compliments on our decor, flowers, photos, etc. and guests saying it was the smoothest and most fun they've ever had at a wedding. Not only did they plan our wedding day, but helped with all of the wedding festivities that ranged from a day trip to visit local cenotes, to the welcome party. Even when there was a little rain, they went with it and adjusted their plan so that everyone was having a good time. They're an amazing team and I fully recommend utilizing their services if you get the opportunity to!

My experience with The Eventeur was less than acceptable. Our first discussion with Mahla was in June 2019, we explained that we wanted a destination wedding in Spain with around 150 guests. She explained for a wedding in Spain for September 2020, we were already late in planning/finding a venue - which prompted us to book her quickly. Several weeks had gone by before Mahla had emailed a set of venues.... none of which were located in Spain. While we found this odd, we decided to put together a 36 slide powerpoint to describe our inspiration, decor, venues etc. Another few weeks had gone by, and we were very unsatisfied with the venue selections that were sent (In the span of 4 months, only 8-9 venues were sent over - none of which were the aesthetic we were hoping for). Flash forward to the first week of December, Mahla made a quick stop in New York to meet in person and discuss our wedding plans. Another red flag should have been that Mahla had none of the information I sent her, when flying to meet a client - I would assume you would have all their information ready to discuss. When Mahla was sitting in my living room, she decided to pull out her laptop for "notes" which was very odd as all of this information was already sent to her in an email - and her face looked like all this information was brand new. During her visit, she suggested a small town in Spain and the idea sounded nice - until we saw the pictures. Again, this was not at all what we had hoped for - so we decided to look up and send her a list of 25 venues that we felt were more aligned to what we were looking for (Sent to her in December 2019). She took the 25 venues we listed, put them in an excel sheet and sent them back to us to select a venue from, again, this was odd as they were sent to her to get a sense of our aesthetic. We knew nothing about these venues enough to make a selection - no pricing, availability, catering etc. All things that we expected our planner to talk us through. By January 2020, still no venue - we decided there was not enough time to plan something and we should push our wedding to September 2021 (which ended up being a blessing in disguise, but at the time obviously not ideal at all). Several additional months had gone by, and after not hearing from Mahla we decided to sever our relationship in July 2020, and requested our deposit be returned. We 100% understand that the circumstances of 2020 left everyone in a bad position and weddings were not happening as planned and we also understand the deposit was non-refundable, but after 11 months not a single vendor was booked for our wedding - no work was actually completed. She never even messaged to check-in with us during a pandemic, which granted is not her job at all, but radio silence for almost 3 months is clearly strange. Mahla boasts a "family-feel" environment with a keen eye for details, but we felt the absolute opposite of this. We wanted to post our experience in hopes that no other couples go through this same experience, nor lose their hefty deposit.

We contacted The Eventeur after reaching out to multiple planners that were not a fit. From the first phone call with Mahla, we knew they were the team we had to work with. Through the pandemic and 4 dates changes, and one location (country), change, Mahla and her team not only supported us, but more importantly, our guests who had reschedule their room bookings multiple times. From venue selection, vendor selection, guest management, to execution of the wedding week, the team at The Eventeur truly is experts in all things wedding planning. Every single one of their recommendations was spot on. They were able to grasp our vision right away and bring it to life! Our guests were one of our top priorities for our wedding – and we are still hearing from them about how it was the best wedding they had ever been to! The wedding weekend was planned flawlessly and beautifully! Geraldine had all of our moving pieces throughout the weekend planned seamlessly. She was so responsive throughout the whole weekend. The design and execution of our wedding was stunning. It was more than we could have imagined and felt unreal! Our guests were telling us how their jaws dropped when they entered the venue because of how beautiful everything looked! We would highly recommend working with the team at The Eventeur - they will create an experience of a lifetime for you!

After working with Mahla and her team on over a dozen events all around the world there is no one in the industry who I would trust more with a destination wedding. The team at the Eventeur all provide impeccable, reliable guest services alongside breathtaking, memorable event design. Their greatest skill is building experiences that are customized to each couple (read: they have a global list of exclusive venues only available to their clients) and seamlessly being able to respond and adapt to any inevitable hiccups (like when your bridesmaid forgets your custom printed menus.) Each time we work together I am impressed by the artistry, dedication to service and ability to stretch a budget to deliver jaw dropping dream weddings this team has.
