Farida and her team were our Wedding Coordinators for our September 2021 wedding. Planning a wedding during the pandemic isn't very easy and we needed all the help we could get navigating this tough time. Farida brought a lot of insight and knowledge to the table. She guided my wife and I into thinking through various scenarios and planning as much as we could ahead of time to allow us to relax during out big day. Farida worked well with all of our other vendors and kept us on track with our schedules. Things never go exactly to plan however we were always at ease knowing that if an issue came up (specifically weather in our case), the team would be able to handle it. The team remained calm during the whole event, communicated clearly and was able to keep things on track.

This is going to be a long one .. I first worked with Fariday Events to do the decor for and manage my wedding events (Mehendi and Shaadi) in 2013 and then again for my baby's naming ceremony (Chatti) in 2014. Farida's (proprietor) artistic abilities ensures a unique experience for the guests and the hosts alike, an example of this is the personalized thank you notes she attached to each gifts in one of my events. In each of the three events she was able to capture my vision and turned it into a fairy tale, may it be an outdoor garden theme, vibrant colors to capture the essence of the ceremony & my heritage, or the perfect backdrop for a baby on a safari themed party which was gently enough for a newborn. As you can imagine, each one of the events that she has coordinated for me has been very unique. Her attention to detail and exceptional ideas were able to deliver on each one of our concept ideas. Her best quality is that she is not afraid to disagree on ideas/decisions but does so in a very gentle and persuasive manner. I would highly recommend Fariday Events for any event management/decor opportunity and i promise you wont be disappointed. Keep up the great work!

Farida is the best! I planned my wedding in one month during the covid pandemic and from the moment I spoke to Farida on the phone I knew that I wanted her to co-ordinate on my wedding. She is very sweet, listens carefully and gets the job done. It was raining very badly the day I got married, and Farida did her best to make sure everything went on without a hitch. With two ceremonies, horrible rain and covid restrictions, I have no idea what I would have done without Farida. My parents were so stressed the day of the wedding but she made things that much easier and they were very happy to have her around. Highly, highly recommend.

Farida is extremely organized, talented, and has a way with people. We used her as a day planner for our reception, she did an amazing job organizing everything and everyone! She thinks of every little detail, and takes care of it. She is the queen of lists that will make your life 100X easier! ???? We are both so grateful for her kindness, integrity and thoughtfulness. She dealt with the most difficult vendors and got us what we wanted. Our day was seamless, she and her assistant made the day stressfree. I regret not also having her for our second event. I wish I knew what I was missing out on. One of the best place we spent our money was here. 5 stars! I would give 10 stars if I could! My experience with Fariday Events has been really wonderful. Our wedding was originally scheduled for April 2020 and Farida was my month-of coordinator. She is extremely organized, helpful, and responds immediately to your texts. If you need referrals to other vendors, Farida will give you contacts with no pressure. I ended up booking my florist through Farida. When the world stopped due to COVID, Farida was a great support. We ended up having a micro-wedding a couple weeks ago and Farida provided our decor. We are planning to have a large celebration later and when we do, we will be calling on Farida and her team to assist with our second big day!

Farida was amazing. She really took the time to understand how I wanted my wedding to be and took great care in ensuring I got my dream wedding! She was there with me every step of the way, she was great in the start when I was still figuring out how I wanted my wedding to be; she pointed me towards the right people, came through with the right decor to fit the theme, and she was even better at walking me through and helping me figure out extremely last minute change of plans TWO days before the wedding when I was really stressed out. She came prepared to our every meeting and she regularly kept in touch with me over phone to ensure I was doing fine and whether she could help out with anything. She goes above and beyond for her clients and does a lot more then she's expected to; it was very clear that she genuinely cared about me, something that was so appreciated especially when I was super stressed. Fariday Events is highly reocmmended for weddings and if she can handle something as big as a wedding with great ease and expertise I have no doubt she will succeed in making any event successful.

How can I possibly begin to say how great Farida and her team are! From the moment I was put in contact with her, I constantly asked a million questions and changed my mind a million times. She was there constantly and patiently to give her suggestions and support while making sure that the vision in my head was accomplished. Despite the time constraints that were put in place my the venue to set everything up, they did it all and even went so far as to come in the night before to start setting up instead of just saying that it wouldn't be possible. I was really impressed with the beautiful decor Farida had done for my cousin’s wedding ceremony and naturally reached out to her to help me with mine!! Although she was unavailable to coordinate on the date of my wedding due to a previous booking, I cannot thank her enough for all of the advice, suggestions and help she provided to us along the way! I rented a number of items (including a beautiful wooden arch, drapes, and some Persian rugs) and the entire process was easy and seamless from start to finish. Farida genuinely cared about my wedding / it wasn’t just a rental for her, and she went out of her way to help me pick out drapes that would match my flowers when I doubted the choice I had initially made. My wedding day went so smoothly with Farida there to help the day of! On a day you want to cherish for the rest of your life you don't want to worry about the projector or photobooth not working, setting up different props at different times or getting you vendors to be on schedule (all of which happened). I have used Fariday Events numerous times to help me plan occasions, but would like to focus on their services for one particular event. I gave them little time and direction for the event, and they went above and beyond my expectations. It is very obvious that Farida, the Big Boss of it all, does everything with heart and passion. In me, she found a client who hadn't even given thought to a theme, so she really had to work from scratch to come up with a coherent theme for the event. She started out by creating the most beautiful personalized invites for the event, and carried the theme from the invitations all the way to the favours. She was also very mindful of my budget, and somehow managed to give me exquisite services despite being on a tight budget. The part that impressed me the most was that Farida was not there for the day of the event itself, as she had previous travel plans. Yet, her planning was so detailed and thorough that the event went off without a hitch anyway. Her team is just as dedicated to their clients as she is, and any concerns that I may have had dissipated the moment they showed up with all their tools and materials on hand, and they gave me complete ease of mind. It also helps that Farida and her team are some of the friendliest and most down-to-earth people I have ever worked with. They are easy to talk to and explain what you want, and it was a joy working with them. I'd definitely recommend Fariday Events to anyone planning an event, big or small. They are worth the investment.

Fariday events coordinated our close friends wedding day. As someone who’s been to tons of weddings and coming from a large family I certainly did not think a wedding coordinator was someone we needed ! But wow what a difference their team made! Being on the wedding party we were constantly kept updated and in the loop, we got reminders before our speeches, entrenches, performances etc mcs were always looped in and we the wedding party actually had a lot of fun instead of worrying about timeline details !!! Would highly recommend !!! I hope to use their team again for sure!

This review has been a long time coming (sorry!)...Farida helped with the coordination and decor of both my wedding and my subsequent religious baby shower. During my wedding, she helped coordinate my bridal shower (we're talking from the food to the decor to the invite list, you name it, I did not have to lift a finger!) She also helped with the big stuff like background decor for the rest of the wedding and it was gorgeous, exactly what I wanted each time- she listened to my wishes and worked within my budget. However, what really stood out to me was her ability to take on all those tiny little details that one easily forgets when you try and do it all on your own. She helped arrange corsages and garlands, coordinated between vendors so 10 ppl were not trying to contact me the day of, took care of menu cards, was at each event early and left last each day, the list just goes on. This is what led me to ask her for help again when planning my baby shower at our mosque. One more time, she helped me sift through ideas and worked within my budget to come up with decor, menu cards, favours etc that were classic and elegant but still totally me:) I would not hesitate in contacting Fariday Events again and I recommend them to everyone I know who is hosting an event!
