Overall it was a great experience. I felt the length of the cruise was just right at 2.5 hours. The food was delicious, but the Caesar salad was a bit pedestrian and could have been done better. The staff were friendly and enjoyable. I think the only real downside was that the sunset was missing due to the cloudy skies, but can't fault the attraction for that. Definitely a great way to cap off, or start, a lovely night in North Bay!

Nice 1.5 hour long around the harbour cruise. Didn’t eat but we had drinks and their wine selection was ????. It got too packed and there was little place to move around especially in the top deck. Could have done without the music too. Great little narrative Del the captain about the area history as you sail past the islands

It was very good food, excellent service and an very good evening. We were celebrating our 27th Wedding Anniversary that evening and we enjoyed the cruise very much. The Captain and his crew are very pleasant which makes it more comfortable for the time we are on the boat. We did the Sunset Dinner Cruise and found the meals, dessert and drinks to our liking. However, my wife wanted" no starch" ( meaning no potatoes) and extra veggies for her meal as she has a issue with eating these two things together -- we just improvized and shared each other's meal, so it worked out in the end. We had plenty of food and did not starve The dessert we had was a truffle cake -- very light and very delicious Thank you for the beautiful experience and look forward to going next year on the French River Cruise.

We went on a late September cruise and had a fantastic time. It was for a wedding, so everyone on the boat was friends and family, but the crew was very friendly and helpful. The drinks were cold, the food was hot, and the sun was shinning! Unfortunately, they were all out of draft beer and their bbq grill broke, but everyone found something to their taste and fun was had by all. The interior of the boat is starting to look a bit dated and could be redone, but the cruise is a lot of fun and I recommend people try it out while in North Bay.

A must visit if you’re in North Bay. Looking for a family hangout place? A Reunion spot with a view of the islands? Someplace to chill with your beau or better half? Take the cruise! You would be cruising through Lake Nippising in the west and Trout Lake on the east. Such friendly crew and the Captain would spill the beans on historical events and land-myths as we approached each island. There was enough seating space and the cruise will give you breathtaking views of the islands to enjoy the summers ???? The Captain would thoughtfully warn everyone to ‘mind their ears’ as he blew the ship’s horn so that kids and seniors don’t get startled ✨ The entrance deck has food and beverages and the upper deck is for observing the landscape. As you sail back, there’s a cute little ice cream shop as you exit, grab your coolers and scoops of bliss as you exit. Blueberry Cheesecake was particularly good. I loved my experience, mainly because of the gorgeous view. To me, it really doesn't matter about buying the most expensive dinners to impress me, and many more people, but just the view naturally caught my attention. If you're planning on going for just a nice view, then this is the place to go.

Our group of 3 couples took a dinner cruise to Callender Bay. Aside from the rainy weather, we had a wonderful evening. The crew are excellent; courteous, responsive, and a hoot! The meals were delicious! We had the ravioli, the chicken, and the pickerel. If you're in North Bay, go for it. Good fun! Thanks folks!

Absolutely wonderful, staff was extremely helpful and curtious, the boat ride was wonderful and beautiful, the gentleman who spoke on the p.a system gave facts about the surrounding area as we went along and was quite knowledgeable, the only disappointment was a few other guests had children who were constantly running around the boat the entire time often screaming and yelling but the boat and staff itself was worth it and recommend checking it out as we will certainly go again

Callander dinner cruise, excellent meal, attentive, professional service from start to finish by all staff supported by great weather. One concern the lighting on the dock shut off prematurely putting those with mobility or vision difficulties at risk as they disembark at 9 pm.

Neat boat, nice view. Expensive tickets, more expensive food. Ordered food after boarding. Burgers and fries took an hour to get. Had to take the food to go. Very disappointing.

Very nice choice for the summer. Nice and relaxing views. The boat ride was on time. The food was delicious and good customer service. The only negative thing is that they do not have at the store any fridge magnet for a nice memory. I walked almost the whole town and they do no have it. Please please get some for next summer because we are going back for sure. Thanks

The view was nice but the crew was very rude. I asked for a cup of water, I was told the water in not potable so they gave me a bottle. About an hour later my partner asked, and the crew pointed at the tip jar and said “it’s $2”

Enjoyed the dinner cruise last Saturday. Water was a little choppy, but captain always let us know if we were turning into the wind. A beautiful lake and a very pleasant evening. We watched the sun go down and got some beautiful pictures.

Took the French River cruise. Beautiful down on the far end of the lake. Food was okay. Would recommend lunch beforehand. Get there early to get a seat. If you are over 6'3 prepare to duck

Took the French River trip and it was worth it! The best scenery was in the French River (vs. the lake to and from) but the cruise had a live guitarist and good food! Smoking at the back of the boat.

Reminds me of when I grew up in the 90s/2000s when this was common behaviour for everyone everywhere. Highly recommended!

It was mine and my granddaughter's first time on a cruise ship. We had a blast. We took the 1.5. hour cruise and ate lunch aboard. The captain stopped by to deliver fries to my granddaughter. Amazing staff, loved the captain speaking of the history of the area. The horn was awesome ????

My granddaughter, cousin and myself took the supper cruise. It was a wonderful time. Crew were very friendly. I hurt my back the week before and they gave myself and another lady a ride to our parking lot. We will definitely go again.

Took one of the first trips in 2017 (May). Rainy weather, one bus with tourists from South America on board. Not one single information from the captain or crew. Just a trip to the islands and back for over 30 dollars per person. High prices for junk food on board. Extremly loud due to about 20 young children on board crying permanently. Men playing cards and singing loudly. Everything smells like fat from the fries. A horrible environment. Never again! I would not recommend this tour to anybody.

We were in North Bay on business with our 8 year old Grandson. We had an excellent experience on the Chief Commanda cruise. I want to make special mention of the bar waitress. She took notice of our grandson with my digital camera, so she kept giving him a list of interesting items for him to take pictures of on the boat. She kept him very engaged for a good part of the cruise.

We had a lovely cruise but save your money on the meal. All the steak dinners were well done when we wanted medium rare. The Lobster Ravioli was terrible. They need a real chef that knows how to cook a steak to the customers preference.
