Front desk staff gave me cancellation fee even though I live out of town and it was due to bad weather and a busted all wheel drive on my car where in the past others would give me a credit. Boo on service. Great pool and facilities though.

All you need from a community fitness complex is here. Fully renovated pool, sauna and steam room. Amazing fitness studio and weight room. Great staff. Clean change rooms.

Had an experience with a very rude and (in my opinion) unprofessional staff member at front desk which put a damper on the remainder of my day. But other than that, fantastic complex. May be worth checking if every facility (sauna/steam/hot tub) is operational before going, if you have to drive in from out of town.

With a skating rink, pool (with diving boards, kids pool/lazy river, slide, hot tub, sauna), well equipped gym, cardio equipment, and well run/attended drop-in classes, the NDCC is a gem. Even better, gym access, cardio equipment, drop-in classes, pool access, and public skating for a low single daily fee (go as many classes, use as many of the facilities as you like) - about half the price of a single drop-in class in Vancouver!

What a hudge reck centre all the comfort. That people enjoy as in. Stalls so their children are not having to look at Adults. Strip down shower ectra some of us teach our children to be discreat that it is wrong to undress .in front of people.then you go to some places in these times and there they are..come on please get with the times Nelson / & Creston have dignaty & respect.for people. Having stalls is so much more inviting.and compassionet..thank you so much for. For helping others. People from other countries do not enjoy seeing. Either..please fallow. Came here for a quick workout and was happy to find a well appointed gym with lots of free weights and a good selection of machines. The drop in price is well worth the amenities on offer!

Awesome place to come by yourself or for the whole family! Great gym with state-of-the-art equipment provides the ultimate work out regimen. The pool includes diving boards, waterslide, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and a kiddie pool for the little ones. There is an ice rink for all your solo or family skating needs mostly all year round with a lengthy running track encompassing the entire rink from above. Free wifi is also included so you can keep connected at no extra cost to you. A definite place to check out for the active person in you!

A great local community rec Centre. Arena, swimming pool, and a well equipped workout area and lots of cardio equipment. I didn’t attend but there are fitness classes every day as well. A clean facility with nice locker rooms. When in Nelson, it’s definitely the place to go to stay in shape.

Good place. Good facilities. But I'd be sure to lock your stuff up. More than one pair of shoes and coats have gone missing. But other than that, decent gym. Has a steam room and sauna. Whirl pool and what not.

Weight room is an 8, cardio area is a 9. Fitness studio has a good variety, and the pool, sauna, steam, and hottub are excellent. Large universal changeroom is a great alternative to the spacious Male and Female rooms. Reasonably priced for excellent quality facility.

Very well kept. Work out, sauna, steamroom, hot tub. Deep and shallow swimming pools. Skating too. And it's kept very clean all the time. The staff are great. It's definitely something for the town to be proud of.

The gym is great with good equipment, the pool is clean and and decorated with lots of helpful details. There is also a whirlpool, a sauna and a baby pool. The only contra is that the entrance is very expensive. For people who go more often than two times a week the monthly pass is perfect.

I live by Seattle and visit fam close by. Love this facility. Always a decent price. Love getting my workout in and then hittin the pool for a dip and the steam room to finish it off. Best combo everrrrrr. ????️‍♂️????‍♂️????magic????

The facility, programs and employees are just fine. The management is lacking. They have done a poor job adapting to COVID, the online registration system leaves a lot to be desired, and they cancel programs often due to poor planning. The childcare programs this summer have had poor communication, been frequently cancelled or changed with limited notice, and management has pressured parents to cancel their registration to better suit the facility. The nelson youth center offers much more reliable and thought out childcare-check with them first.
