Mike provided the tent, dance floor and sound system for my son's outdoor wedding at Karibu Campground in Winlaw this past July. Everything was delivered and setup as promised. The sound system worked perfectly. The tent and the dance floor were exactly as promised. I would recommend Headphone Entertainment to anyone looking for rentals for an outdoor event.

Mike was great to deal with, he responded fast to emails and was very friendly. The day of he was the first one there setting up bright and early. He provided the best sound system Keep the Beat has had in years. We will definitely be asking him again next year, I highly recommend him.

Mike just did a Kaslo, BC wedding for us on July 28th, 2018 ! He did the most amazing job. It was such a hot day and he kept the party going until 2 am. He saved us when our slideshow didn’t work on the provided computer and was a pleasure to work with. If you need a DJ please hire Mike he is great at his craft.

I have had an extremely negative experience with Mike. We had our venue cancel on us and had to chance dates and the tent we were renting from Mike was already booked for the new weekend. Even though it was still 10 months away Mike wouldn't even consider the option of trying to rent the tent to someone else and giving us our money back. Apparently he doesn't know what common decency is and just wants to rip people off.

We hired Mike for our wedding at Blaylock Mansion this past weekend and he was great to work with! He helped us with suggestions for searching for songs to play as my husband and I had no idea where to even start! He was very quick at responding to my millions of emails during planning. He had tents and bulb lighting set up before we got to the mansion and everything was in perfect location. He did music for our ceremony and entire reception. Mike was very accommodating and friendly to work with. He was great at adjusting music to keep people dancing and was open to requests for music throughout the evening. I would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding! Especially his all in package for tents and full DJ services. It was a huge weight off our shoulders having all that done for us and our music for the evening was enjoyed by everyone!

In my opinion, do not retain the services (if you can call it that) of Headphones Entertainment. This company has poor communications skills and misrepresents the services they offer. Go with a professional rental company, BV Rentals, if you need a large tent in the West Kootenays and you might avoid future headaches, and stress.

We hired Headphone Entertainment to DJ our wedding. His communication was excellent, even replying to emails quickly that I assumed I sent too late at night for a speedy response. He showed up for the wedding on time and with all the gear he'd need. He had no issues with our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. The music and mics were easy to hear and the sound quality was excellent. Mike took requests all night and kept the guests dancing.

Mike was so great to work with at our wedding! He truly went above and beyond as our DJ. He worked with us on our wedding for over a year (having to postpone due to covid-19) and helped us find solutions to changing restrictions and moving our event outside. He worked with us on the details of our event, rentals he had available, the playlist for ceremony and reception and was able to really add valuable input to our planning process based on his experience with many types and sizes of events. I would 100% recommend Mike and his services to anyone in the area looking for a DJ - not to mention he kept the dance floor going all night long for our wedding! We had a pretty simple wedding setup that Mike was able to manage even though he was DJ'ing another wedding that weekend. He was very communicative and had things set up a day or two before and taken down the day after, without needing our involvement or much direction (he has a great relationship with our venue, Blaylock's Mansion). AND he gave us a free extra tent with a dancefloor just because! We didn't think we'd need it beforehand but it sure came in handy anyhow when things got started! Great great service!
