Lots of vendors! We had a great day!! Only downside was that we bought $100 worth of butter tarts and gained 3 pounds ????

Good but busy

Nice but ridiculously expensive. $4 for one butter tart and too short 9-5for those commuting

Marni Maltby

The actual event has alot of choices of buttertarts. However, out of a few tested after being bought there i would not recommend it. The filling used is an almost store bought filling that tasted really synthetic. On top of the fact that no one accepts anything but cash seems shady since there are some outrageous priced atms on location. I went to grocery store and bought real buttertarts compared to anything i tasted there

Lots of walking but always a good time

Midland needs to rethink parking for this festival. Took me over an hour to find a parking spot, major streets blocked by people parking foolishly. I have two very small children that can't walk 6 blocks to get there. Not much entertainment for the children. One magician, a couple of people dressed up.

Well, I'm biased about this one. 1 millions stars! Best festival in Ontario!

Be prepared for too many people with no sense of personal space or courtesy, dogs on 20ft long leashes, and out of control children. Overpriced and overrated butter tarts for the most part. Don't go if you don't like crowds or waiting in line 30 minutes for a dozen tarts.

Kittie Cat

Lots of butter tarts but Wayyyyy to expensive. Not enough of diferent kind of venders this year (2019) either.

Charlotte Henderson

Very cute festival, just wish there was more for the kids rides ext. Otherwise it was great.

Craig

Lots of vendors, bands, and other performances. Beautiful scenery by the waterfront, will definitely be back next year

If you like butter tarts this is the place for you !!!

Cory Sakai

Wow! Lots of fun if you're a foodie! Crowded but not crazy. You will have trouble navigating with larger strollers and wagons. Well organized with good flow, a water station and parking options with shuttle busses. They have a good selection of craft vendors and info booths too. You do need to get there early 9-930 am to get better parking. Lots of butter tarts and variations to buy, but if you want to get the sampler trays of tarts being judged you need to get there before 1030-11am. Bring wet wipes and water!!! Don't eat breakfast!

Karen Edwards

We arrived at 830 am and the street was already filling up with people. They had more vendors than previous years. We don't like crowds so we left at 10am because it was wall to wall people.

Kyle Smyth

Love this event. Lots of great vendors

Michelle Sutton

First time. Waited half hour for shuttle. Bus came, no room. One shuttle to cover two areas. We would have had to wait another hour. Left. No signage on our drive there. Alot of people left. Therefore, lost sales. It's ashame shuttle service very unorganized.

Teresa Arbon

This was my first time visiting the festival. My advice is to get there early to find good parking and short lines. We arrived at 8:45am and it was packed. As the day went on it got much busier. We were able to get butter tarts from the vendors we wanted and enjoyed breakfast at one of the local restaurants. Lots of shops and buskers to keep us entertained. I would definitely return again.

Paul Roelens

A most see festival. If you love butter tarts like I do,you got to go.Didn't know their were so many kinds.

Kristen Muir

Nate Botting

Wasn't expecting as many people as were there...a pleasant surprise...they do however need to figure out a better shuttle system

Great festival but it was beyond packed. Hopefully they'll expand in coming years to make it more accessible and enjoyable.

Beautiful Town. Wonderful Event. Happy Smiling People. Great Scenery. And Delicious Treats on Offer! What's not to Like?

Tyler Richardson

Getting busier by the year, the buttertart festival has been fun every time we come up for it. My only hope is that over the coming years they expand to be on the side streets as this year it was way too packed near the bottom of the street
