I really am shocked that you have so many good reviews. My butter chicken was very obviously made with canned tomato soup. Not authentic at all and extremely salty. Also your prices are the highest in town. People you have been warned as this is a genuine review.

Amazing food, one of our favourite restaurants! It's never too busy or loud, and my kids love their menu options. The only issue I have is the wait staff. They take so long to come around and check on you, even when your the only person in there.

The food was excellent and our waitress Stephanie was outstanding. This was our first time eating East Indian Food and Stephanie took the time to explain all of the dishes to us including the different spice levels, and then asked if we had any questions making sure we understood. Stephanie made this nite out a very wonderful evening. We will definitely be back.

Not too sure why this place got 4.5 stars, maybe because it was good food for evening supper time, we ordered and ate in at this restaurant for lunch and food quality was terrible. Ordered the chicken baryani combo with Samosa and wished I took pictures to show you our plate. Less baryani and felt like we were eating red chilli pepper fried rice. Got like maybe 5 small pieces of chicken and the samosa quality felt like what you get frozen at Walmart. It was an insult to Indian food and better off spending your money at other East Indian restaurants here in Medicine Hat then the trash we got. One and done will never eat here again.

The Cliff is SO easily the best Indian food here. The authentic flavors can't be beat. I've travelled to India before and would crave the food so badly, and the Cliff is the closest thing I've found, besides traveling across the globe again for authentic Indian. My favorite restaurant, by far!!

Attention the Cliff management the meal was amazing because of waitress Darianne was the icing on the cake. She has the hospitality that few restaurants have in medicine hat she is a real gem. Absolutely an incredible place! I have heard through people that I know how great the food is, but everything they said was nothing compared to just how amazing the food was. The butter chicken and garlic naan bread was perfect on so many levels. Also the service was second to none - very friendly! Definitely try this place out as you will be more than happy that you did. My family and I will be back again and again as this is a new favourite!

Don't ever go there I sat waiting for the waitress she have a white and black hair mix I said they're over 15 minutes I told her can order food please and she was on the phone talking and texting She told me sorry there are so busy she can't serve me that is so ridiculous it's awful matter of fact I'm not from Canada I'm just visiting Canada that is a bad reputation

We went to the Cliff restaurant tonight and asked if we could eat on the patio as we had a child with us. The server said we could sit in the bar/restaurant side or the patio. She said the bar side will get it be getting VLT‘s soon and we will no longer be able to bring children into that side of the restaurant. (The other side of the restaurant is been being renovated) My butter chicken arrived and it appeared slightly dry on top but I did not complain. We asked for containers when the meal was over for leftovers to take home. I poured my rice into the container then put the leftover butter chicken on the rice. That is when I found a long hair entangled in the butter chicken. I quietly took my container up to the server and let her know my concerns. She said she would give us a discount on our meal. I felt like vomiting for the rest of the evening. I will not be returning.
