It looks beautiful to stay at. Unfortunately, booking is confusing. The website booking system reveals different details than the on-phone reservation customer service. I tried to book the Lakeside Glome and the reservation booking says it is pet friendly but the woman I spoke to on the phone said it's not pet friendly so I ultimately had to cancel. I asked if the Glomes would have hot tubs in January 2022 but they are not sure when they'll be delivered. Also the cancellation policy on my online reservation was different than what the woman on the phone told me (Different deadlines and different fees for cancellation). Overall, a long confusing conversation which led to me not booking in the end.

We had such a great winter getaway at White Point. The staff were amazing, each person we encountered made us feel so welcomed. Our cottage was spotless when we checked in and the fireplace made it an extra cozy stay. Complimentary yoga in the morning and live entertainment every night is a great perk. Thank you for your hospitality! We will be back!

My wife and I went to White Point for our honeymoon in 2009 and enjoyed our stay. With a baby on the way, we wanted a weekend getaway and returned to the new White Point. The main lodge was rebuilt after it was destroyed in a fire, and the new facilities are great. Our room looked exactly as it did in '09 but with a new flatscreen TV. The food is terrific. The service is exceptional. We enjoyed the games room, although it was hot in there and smelled bad. Probably just a temporary problem. Each time we've been has been in bad weather and we still had a memorable good time. I can only imagine it's spectacular when the weather is good. I look forward to a time when we can go back. It's always "a great day at White Point."

Love this place! what a wonder visit we had. No complaints. The people were great and the food spectacular and the view.....I'm lost for words. Now that's a first. :)

booked two nights mid aug for our 35th anniversary, we booked a reg room double beds.I had requested two robes, they replied no problem but never got them. the bed was so hard, it was like sleeping on plywood, the little deck on the back needs maintenance, looking old and unsafe, and the plastic chairs and table were so filthy, couldn't sit on them, looks like they haven't been used for 10 years. because of covid, it's understandable that the staff is more stressed and having to wear masks all day makes the job more difficult, but service was disappointing. We've been to White point a few times over the years, it would've been nice to have a little something waiting for us, knowing it was our 35th, even a little note or something. Same with the restaurant, we booked two dinners, and tried three starters and two entrees. it was ok but not what it should be for the price, cornish hen was 1/2 of one and dry with no sauce or nothing. portions are two small, even for fine cuisine. Those are strange times and difficult for everyone but because it's not as busy, you would think there would be more opportunity to make it a great experience for the guests, even if it's only little us from the Atlantic bubble.

Highly over rated, first off there's not much of a beach, mostly rocks. Too many cabins crammed together without enough parking, we had to park in an overflow lot because someone took our spot. The walls are paper thin, at 130am we had to call the front desk to get our neighbor to go to bed. Food is good but way over priced. The place is in need of repairs Definitely won't be back.

We've been staying here almost every year for the past 11 years and it's always been great. If you want a relaxing getaway with plenty to do, or just a place to unwind, White Point is the perfect vacation destination for you. I tell all my friends, you have to stay at White Point at least once. Trust me, you'll want to come back.

Perfect get away we loved every minute there we didn't want to leave the staff couldn't do enough for people and the food and waitress was incredible we will definitely good back there and would recommend white point to anyone

Always a good time - we've been visiting during March Break for the past 4-5 years. Lots of activities for the kids, great food and drink at the restaurant. Always a good time, and while the heater in the room wasn't working at full capacity, it was fine for the amount of time we spent in the room. We'll be heading back next year for sure.

Wow. Just WOW! We were only there for golf and didn't visit the actual resort. I think every hole has a water view and many play down to and along the shore. It's not the longest course I've played but due to being so well designed (Donald Ross) it's stood the test of time and is still very relevant. It's not in pristine condition and the facilities are getting a bit tired but it's very "nostalgic" and will invoke many memories of summers past.

Great view, very friendly staff. There are lots of rabbits and squirrels running around which people love to see. The rooms are comfortable enough but when I was there in January with a work conference many people mentioned that the rooms smelled a bit musty. Could be because of the time of year as the windows are probably not open very often in the winter. I'll go back in the summer with my wife and give it another try.

The best way to describe it would be satisfactory. I've lived in NS my whole life and White Point is quite hyped up, so I guess I was expecting more than what it was. I didn't have any major problems with my stay. The staff were friendly, the food was good (not amazing), and the view of the ocean was amazing. My issue is the value for money. The rooms are dated, we weren't able to swim in the pool even once (I understand there are limited numbers because of COVID, but out of 180 possible slots, the fact that we couldn't even book two of them the day before (right after we arrived) was quite disappointing.) We paid almost $1,000 for a two night stay, and while all our meals were included, the cost just wasn't worth it. There is nothing really to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. It didn't help that it was cold and rainy, but obviously that is not within their control. We likely won't be back.

I'm so happy I went to see this place with my mother. When I went through mum's pictures last year I saw quite a few of White Point over forty years ago when my parents and their great friends spent a week there. It was great to revisit this place and go down memory lane...

My family and I frequent the lodge often for dinners and for the views that are remarkable. I am a seafood lover and they have some of the best but recently they have removed lobster from the menu because of a dispute in the lobster industry in sou west nova where the very best seafood is supplied to locations such as White Point Lodge. I feel a place such as White Point should not get involved in the politics of the fishing industry unless they have a educated knowledge of how the fishery is maintained and are informed on all sides of the dispute.....For my family and friends who live in sou west nova we will no longer support this establishment I am sorry to say.....
