Tonya is so absolutely amazing, she helped me put my cards together and even though I was crazy and showed up to her store 5 million times, she was always so understanding and patient. We chose a style and colors and I was so worried about how they would look together, but she helped me out and completely comforted me. I just picked up my cards last week and I love them so much!! She did such an amazing job that I'm going back to make some other special cards for my reception. Tonya has so much talent and is passionate about what she does. She also helped me budget to exactly what I needed..if it was unnecessary she took it out so that I can make sure it wasn't too expensive on me. So happy with the service and the product!! Can't wait to send them out for my guests to see!

I have been in Paper Poet many times over the years, and as a Scrapbooker, it might not have been the biggest shop out there, but they always had something that was a little different, a little more unique. Over the past few months, I've noticed that they are getting into more Ephemera and Art Journaling products, and I'm so excited to see that! In listening to Tonya helping Brides find the perfect papers for their invitations, I'm struck by how knowledgable she is. She strives to carry the best quality product for the best price, and she makes sure to mark any paper that is soon to be discontinued so you won't be disappointed. (Not every store looks out for you like that!) There isn't another store out there like Paper Poet, and I'm looking forward to seeing what new "treasures" they bring in next!

I ordered my wedding invitations from paper poet and it was an easy and pleasant experience. Tonya worked with us to keep the cost down on our invitations and thank you cards by offering different options for text, paper and envelopes. I even ordered too many invitations and she fixed that problem right away so we weren't over spending on something we wouldn't use. She sent us proofs of what we wanted as well as some alternate options just so we could see what else was possible with our design. Our invitations came fast and they are beautiful!

Paper Poet was the absolutely most disappointing wedding vendor we worked with. Tonya was both unprofessional as well as very condescending throughout the process. She did not provide any helpful suggestions and made me feel guilty for not wanting to spend too much on my save-the-dates and wedding invitations. She mis-quoted us for our save-the-dates and just before we placed the order she told me the actual price was more than double what she had originally quoted. She said the original quote didn't factor in an additional detail (i.e. how the image bled to the edges). She didn't even apologize for her error and refused any price adjustment despite her original quote. I give one star because I actually quite like the large selection of paper and envelopes Paper Poet carries. However, the ridiculously poor customer service makes me never want to go back again. Wow, this place is amazing. So many colours of envelopes. I just needed some coloured paper for a Baby Shower pennant but found some cute favor boxes and ribbon as well. It's like the entire stationery category of Etsy in a real life store. Very helpful staff, definitely coming here again.

After a recommendation from a coworker, I went to see Tonya of Paper Poet without anything in mind, and with the initial intention of simply stopping by to see what services there were, or general cost of what wedding invitations would run at. After talking with Tonya however, I immediately called my now husband that we had to get our invitations from her - her selections were beautiful, she was able to customize and design things from scratch to tailor to your theme/style of wedding, had good prices, and was quite fast in turnaround time (a few days, if I recall correctly) for our invitations to be done. We selected a design that was a two-piece invitation (with vellum and a cardstock paper) and everything - color, matte/shiny, twine tie detail etc, were all customizable. In the end, many of our friends commented on how unique and beautiful our wedding invitations were, and those who knew they weren't able to attend still wanted an invitation for safekeeping. Thank you Tonya!

PAPER POET IS A RIPOFF! They quoted my printed wedding invitations at over $450. This was a shockingly high quote for such a small order. The same print order, on the exact same paper, cost only $75 at the Minuteman Press (Note: The invitations from Minuteman turned out amazing and they were ready within 24 hours). Not only are Paper Poet's services grossly overpriced but the sales lady is very rude. I don't know why anyone would shop there?

Great experience. I was searching for 100% recycled envelopes, and this place was perfect. Happy to order local. Envelopes were cheap, arrived super fast, and loved the way they do invoicing/payments - super easy to just pay right from my email.

My fiancee and I had an amazing experience with Tonya at Paper Poet. We recently got our wedding invitations done here and the quality of the invites is amazing. We were also on a bit of a time crunch and Tonya was so understanding, professional and was able to get things done efficiently for us.
