Dropped off my prescription. Asked how long it would be. 25 minutes they said. Told them I would wait and they gave me a buzzer. After 60 minutes, I went up and inquired. Told me it was just another minute. I sat down and waited as there were people behind me. After 30 more minutes, I went up to the counter and inquired. Took a bit of time to locate it but it was ready. Totally unacceptable to have to wait 90 when I was told 25 minutes. We had left the SDM pharmacy a few years ago for customer service reason and only recently decided to give them another try as the location is convenient. Starting to look like that was a mistake

worst customer service, asked the cashier to check my lottery tickets and she refused said I had to use the self checker cause they were busy.....except no one was in line behind me than she said I had too many...and you wonder why people are being replaced with self checkouts....people are ignorant

This was my go-to pharmacy, and I usually pick up a couple of things when I go to get my medication. Last time I was in, I picked up my meds (and the pharmacy and pharmacist is 100% awesome, this review isn't about that) and went to cash out on some coffee cream, and found all of the friendly and helpful cashiers had been replaced by a self-checkout, and a very nice young lady who (for the time being at least) was there to walk customers through the process of doing the job of a cashier. I will no longer buy anything here, as they've taken away much-needed jobs from the community. It's still my go-to pharmacy for medication, always will be, but I won't be buying anything here again until I see humans back at cash registers. Yes, automation is a trend and it will eventually be the way things are, but I'll keep shopping at the holdouts that like to employ actual people from our community. Plus, TBH, at the end of the day I don't want to do a cashier's job, I just want them to ring my stuff up, pay, and leave. Bring back the jobs to this store and get rid of the self-checkout as the only option, and I'll be back.

1 was the lowest rating I could give this pharmacy. I have never dealt with a more inept pharmacy. They've told me they've filled prescriptions and then not had them when I picked them up and put me on automatic refill without me asking. The straw that broke the camels back was when I asked for 1 prescription to be filled and they filled 5 on file, some that hadn't been used in over 3 years and when I told them their mistake, they asked me if i just wanted to take them because the insurance had covered them already. I'm pretty sure that's insurance fraud. Save yourself a headache and avoid this place at all costs.

Putting 1 star is even to much for this pharmacy - I moved here 6 months ago and every month they made a mistake with my prescriptions : ether not using the proper insurance after changing, not giving the right amount of pills or not keeping medications in original package when it says on the label --- they are just the worst I would say go anywhere but there

My husband went to pick up my meds and they didn't tell him that they werent charging our plan even though I'm under his plan and I have one of my own too. That's really bad service not to charge the plan that's in the system. May never use this shoppers again because of that one staff member that didn't do there job right. Horrible service to gouge people for full price of meds when they have a plan. So very angry

Super nice to be able to run in a grab quick essentials. The self check out is great too during the pandemic because I use a clean key to type on the display so I don’t have to touch anything at all. It’s alway clean and bright. There’s room to socially distance, most of the time, except at the check outs but they put up dividers so at least there’s something. Haven’t use the pharmacy there but the rest works great for me.

The customer service representatives are always quite friendly but the makeup prices are quite high and not worth it. I find that the e.l.f brand is better quality for a lower price.

Have been going here for years, recently they eliminated every one of their cashiers for self-checkouts. Unfortunately I don’t work for shoppers drug mart so there is no longer any way for me to make purchases there. Never going back.

Apparently you can only Book flu shots and the like on weekdays. But you can only book an appointment on the day you want it, and if you aren’t fast on the phone, too bad.

I've rarely given 5 stars but have to admit, the team up there currently deserve this rating. I went in there to ship a few items, the guys didn't only help me bring the stuff inside but also through packaging and shipping it. Also they were very helpful with items I wanted to buy in general. I've rarely seen this much pride in customer service. Really great.

It's little bit smaller than other Shoppers in North Bay. Cashiers are great, pharmacy people are so nice. Just the beauty section's some assistants weren't nice to me, don't know why.

Worse place to get your prescription filled .. absolutely the worse customer service In makeup department. Last night a lady in makeup department did not Sanitize cash counter after one customer’s check out. She was not taking any steps about safety and was roaming in make up department even she did not give answers. So displeasad that this shoppers drug mart and their employees have forgotten it is about customer service.

Very slow service, very rude and unfriendly. The supervisor was very rude to me regarding a return and they lied to me about their policy and I knew the proper policy and they stood there lied to me and gave me attitude. Not happy with their service at all. Never have been now I am very unimpressed at their lack of professionalism and the fact that they were lying. Can’t believe it never been treated like that before.

Shopper's has a great rewards plan, I was able to use a $10 gift card I had earned previously, both cashiers, at the postal outlet and main cash were extremely friendly. Often their food prices are better than at main grocery stores.

The pharmacy is frequently making mistakes with my medications and when they make a mistake, no apology is offered. The pharmacist has the power to renew my medication but selfishly chooses not to. The man who answers the phone at the pharmacy is extremely rude and either doesn’t complete the task that I ask him to complete or he scolds me, the customer. He has forgotten who is working for who. Delivery person is dishonest and does not wear a mask during the global pandemic when they are delivering medications to vulnerable people. I shopped in the makeup department and the employee stared at me wherever I went. Her behavior ruined my shopping experience. I had to do a make up return, and they gave me a dirty look. They should not advertise that they close at 10:00 PM because they badger customers to leave the store much earlier than 10:00 PM. Store manager should refrain from badmouthing customers to others when there is no legitimate reason to do so.
