I just finished planning and executing an event in Kingston and was unfamiliar with the city and vendors. Tulips and Maple (Kingston), especially Christine, were a delight to work with from start to finish. A lot of revisions were made throughout the process with the new Covid restrictions and precautions, however, Christine was always patient, helpful, and accommodating. As for delivery, she was on time, professional, and very kind. The food was fantastic, the guests were all very happy and most importantly, full! Thank you so much for being such an amazing vendor to work with. Look forward to working together again in the future and will definitely be referring this team to other planners and clients!

My husband and I are very particular in the food we enjoy and Tulips and Maple lived up to all our expectations. They were extremely accomidating when we wanted to make changes after our tasting, Dani was always super prompt in responding to all emails. Planning a wedding during daily changes in COVID regulations, kept us all on our toes and this caterer was prepared to provide take-out 3 course dinners if our reception was not allowed to happen. The day of the wedding, all the servers followed the rules and yet still provided friendly service and amazing food to all the guests. Even the Venue owners commented how impressed and professional everyone associated with Tulips and Maple Catering. At the outset, we wanted to serve our guests food cooked with the care and ability that we enjoy when dining out home in New York City. As soon as we saw Tulips and Maple's proposed menu, we knew they cared about food. When we got to do our tasting, we knew Tulips and Maple could execute a delicious, thoughtful meal. Once we sat down to dinner at our wedding, it became clear that scaling their food up to our group of nearly 90 was no problem. Their servers were prompt and attentive and the food was every bit as delicious as we had hoped it would be. Many of our guests volunteered that it was the best meal they'd ever had a a wedding. We look forward to the next time we throw a big party in Kingston. Tulips and Maple will be first on our list of people to call.

Tulips & Maple cateter our wedding in Prince Edward county in July. We were really impressed with their food & service. The quality of food was very important to us and they really came through. We also had some power issues at our venue and last minute changes due to rain, and they rolled with the punches beautifully. Tulips & Maple and their staff really went above and beyond, they helped wherever we needed it from collecting our gifts and setting up our gift table (due to rain delay). We ordered a drop off holiday dinner with canapes. The delivery people were 20 minutes early and really efficient at getting things set up and dinner warming so we could have the canapes first. We even got extra canapes. The duck crostinis were excellent!

We ordered during Covid times for a wedding that had to be reduced from 40 people to 10 people. They were super understanding and accommodating. Even helped organize rental pickup as we were celebrating outside of Kingston region. The food was very good and fresh! When they say they are generous in portions they are! We got almost double what we needed and ended up sending every person home with tons of food. Would order again, and they were accommodating with having the food dropped off instead of being originally catered in the buffet format.

My husband and I booked the Tulips and Maple Kingston catering company for a Farewell Party the day after our wedding. From the moment the team arrived to the time they left guests commented on how professional, friendly, and courteous they were. That's just the beginning. The food was to die for (specifically the grilled cheese and jalapeno poppers which stole the show) and no one could have gone home hungry. We hired Tulips and Maple Catering from Kingston and right from our first contact with them we were thrilled. Dani, our catering coordinator, was absolutely incredible to work with. The bride and groom are foodies and had very specific requirements for their dinner menu. They wanted "classy pub style" and they also wanted to ensure that there were options for guests with specific food needs. They worked very closely with Dani and Chef Loui on developing a menu and when they did their private tasting, it was "love at first bite". The service during the day of the wedding was impeccable, the team were so friendly and professional and Dani was a calming presence for me. Guests are still raving about how delicious the meal was, they could not get enough of the duck confit poutine and the pulled pork sliders.

We used Tulip and Maple for our June 2017 wedding. The tasting was great and we liked being able to bring along our mothers for their feedback as well to make our final selections. The food was enjoyable the day of the wedding and we heard great feedback from our guests. We were able to select the wine of our choosing without issue; however, the beer and ciders that we had selected were not all provided (some switched out for other options which we were not aware of prior to the wedding). The open bar that we had also ran out of some liquor throughout the evening. Thankfully it was early enough that it could be re-stocked without issue. Overall we quite enjoyed our experience with Tulips and Maple, the food was great and things were organized and ran smoothly throughout the evening.

Tulips and Maple catered our wedding in August, 2019 for 105 people. The food was good, but there were a few mistakes with dietary issues. After being made aware of the issues the staff was very accommodating, but it was unfortunate that the bride had to be notifying the staff of issues on her own wedding day. I found the communication process leading up to the wedding to be a bit unprofessional - over 50 emails had to be sent back and forth because they had no online forum program. Their tasting space isn't very nice either - it's at an old house that hasn't been renovated recently. I would say that they get the job done at a very reasonable price, but overall I wasn't super thrilled with the experience. My favourite part of the experience was the donut wall!!

Thank you to your chef and sous-chefs and all the behind-the-scenes helpers who put our order together. The pesto pasta salad was especially delicious! Be sure to tell Dani that she was terrific. Her way of catching my eye to see what I needed was professional. She handled the one drink ticket very well. She did way more than she needed to, cleaning and packaging up the leftovers, which our people really appreciated. She was very pleasant in all ways. Many thanks to Tulip and Maple! We had the opportunity to work with Tulips and Maple for our December wedding and all we can say is YUM! The food was amazing and our guests are still commenting about it to this day. We may have ordered a little too much food (it was too hard to pick from the great variety of appetizers), but people loved the food so much that they still managed to finish it all. The night went off smoothly and a lot of that had to do with the professionalism of the service staff from the reception, through dinner, and even late into the night. For our dinner we went with two options (Mediterranean Chicken and Rib-eye Steaks) and both were delicious – trust me I tried some of my wife’s! The portions were extremely generous and no one left hungry! Chef Luis and his kitchen staff sure know their way around a delicious meal. Our sides were a roasted vegetable medley and truffle smashed potatoes, both of which were perfect. For dessert we had the Resse’s peanut butter cake (I am a peanut butter lover) and it was amazing – a friend of mine posted a photo on line with the caption of “best wedding dessert EVER”. Throughout the prep and planning, Christine was helpful in responding to our questions and requests (which at times were many), and in the end, our wedding reception was one that we feel our guests will remember for a long time to come. We want to thank Luis, Christine, and all of the staff at Tulips and Maple Kingston for all of their wonderful work in making our wedding dreams come true.

We were married at the discovery centre at Fort Henry in 2017. The food was delicious. Everything we asked for on the day of was there, just not enough. We had an open bar wedding and the bar ran out of EVERYTHING at different times. Always something to drink just not what you might want at that time. I specially asked for more booze knowing who my guest were but was insured they had enough. The person in charge, I believe it was Kristine or Katlyn, did a good job other then the fact they ran out of booze but the rest of the staff I didn't not feel was as good as I could have hoped for. The bridal party also was supposed to have apps set aside for them but the was none. We also had some confusion with guest sitting for a while prior to being served. We were compensated fairly for th blunders and the food was great, unfortunately for me when paying for an open bar I expect it not to by dry at any point. Because I felt the need to fix the error there was time spent dealing with staff that I should have been enjoying with my wife that I will not get back.

Before selecting Tulips & Maple, we got quotes from other area caterers. Tulips & Maple was not the least expensive, but we selected them because they had a more professional menu and presentation. Christine was helpful and responsive throughout the process, and Tulips & Maple Kingston pulled together the order effectively. The conference participants praised the food, and the quality of the food enhanced the experience for them. The staff were friendly and accommodating. As a wedding decorator, I have always appreciated their careful attention to how food is presented (be it plated or buffet) and their recognition that they too contribute to the overall decor of the event. I got married in August, 2019. Tulips and Maple catered the event. We were not very happy with the services that they provided. They contacted our venue without our knowledge and tried to do business behind our backs. The food was decent and the chicken was dry. They were late the day of our wedding. The charcuterie board was nothing close to their instagram (which looked amazing). Our wedding coordinator had to have a discussion about helping with clean-up, which is something we had paid extra for. Overall, we were disappointed with the services that Tulips and Maple provided and we felt that it was difficult to work with them. I wouldn't recommend Tulips and Maple.

Often the caterer can put a wedding reception behind schedule but this is not the case for Tulips and Maple. Their work was efficient, on time and most importantly... delicious!
