Your bill mystically becomes $100 more after checkout with “other fees” - I’m happy to pay the price of the room but tell me the cost before I book it! You’re better to use the extra $100 to book somewhere nicer

I requested the corner suite with fireplace only to be told it was not available AFTER I arrived at 4pm which is one hour after check in. They said something about maintenance and heating issues. How convenient for them to tell me after I already arrived. All other rooms were subpar and I was offered $135 rate but the incompetent staff should have mentioned it was closer to $160 with taxes. Sure they offered free parking but at that point, they should have just offered complimentary stay. The other non corner suites didn’t have a clear view of the lake / harbour and super loud with housekeeping and guests running around in hallway. This is less likely with a corner suite. The alarm clock also did not even have the correct time and the telephone wasn’t working so I had to go to lobby and order room service. For $160 and a dated, noisy room and incompetent hotel staff/management, stay somewhere else. Can’t use COVID and staff shortage / lack of training as an excuse forever.

Hotel overbooked, kids running in halls (without Covid-masks). Small dogs in one of the rooms near us kept barking at night and early in the morning.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel over the weekend. We were booked into a corner King room with beautiful views of the waterfront. The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and the location is amazing. Thanks Mike and Team for a great getaway weekend.

Very enjoyable stay and no matter which room you have you are looking out on the water. The pool and hot tub on the sixth floor are huge and clean. Food downstairs was also good. Staff are friendly and quick to reply.

Absolutely fantastic hotel located in downtown Kingston. Close to shops and restaurants and right on the water with lovely lakefront views. The restaurant serves a very nice breakfast and the bar is great for evening drinks. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean and COVID procedures are followed very closely. I'd recommend the Delta Kingston to anybody visiting the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Delta and would stay there again. Kingston was an amazing city and so glad that we were able to visit. It is always nice to stay at a hotel that is nice and clean when you need to travel with your pet. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spacious room with a great view of the marina no matter what side of the hotel you are on. Bed was very comfortable. Close to all the downtown restaurants.

When I try to take a photo of the harbour view, the old blackout curtains sticks on me like a fresh paint. It ruin my cloth and I had to take a shower to clean my hair.

Disgusted by the service. After discovering waking up to a tick in my bedroom being bitten , had to take work off they were unable to refund my fiancé one night stay? He was staying for work and in the morning they had to switch him rooms and they provided free parking. What free parking cost them nothing. Definitely not the ideal place for food - choices are limited if you are looking for any "easy dining". Do not depend on hotel restaurant if you have children. Very expensive to eat. No place outdoors to lounge, which is not ideal for a hotel stay. OK stay for a weekend but not for any extended stay.

Dissatisfied for sure. I’m an experienced traveller both business and personal leisure. This stay had a great view but that’s it. The room in comparison to what I’ve seen and experienced is subpar in comparison. Example; no jacuzzi tube, no fireplace, no separate room, small TV etc.

Stayed with friends for a weekend getaway. Great location to get out and sample Kingston waterfront and numerous eateries. Hotel is run-down, expensive rates and parking is not included. We had an excellent room at the Kingston Delta waterfront hotel with a beautiful view of the harbour. The staff were excellent and helped me recover a lost item that left behind on a previous stay from a month earlier. Very satisfied with our experience. The Delta waterfront is the best hotel option in downtown Kingston.

Spent the excadet weekend here, some things I really liked others not so much. Room was lovely, I especially appreciated the tea kettle, Often you have to use coffee machines and not being a fan of coffee makes this impossible. Loved the bed and really liked the pillows. Enjoyed three meals, food was delicious. Wished meet & greet buffet lasted longer. Brunch and dinner Saturday was really good. Didn't appreciate staff saying they had a limit to wine glasses Saturday night. People like with e with dinner, glasses should be available. I resent having to pay for parking on top of the room...$21 a day was unreasonable. Thankfully the people we were meeting surpassed any shortcomings of the hotel.

Great location, expensive for what you get and definitely not friendly for families that are traveling with kids. We booked two rooms a king and two doubles a month before our staying requesting the rooms to be adjoining. To make sure that we got what we wanted we called at the time of the booking and a week before. When we got there they told us that the rooms would have been on the same floor but not adjoining. We didn’t like that so we asked if it was possible to have them adjoining even if we had to pay an extra charge. They set us up with a suite (king bed) adjoining with a room with another king bed not exactly what we wanted but they were adjoining so we were happy. A couple of hours after we checked in they called us that we were not able to keep these rooms for both nights we were booked. We were asked to move my kids to a different floor for the following day. The next day after a late breakfast we told the front desk that we were not happy so we checked out and left. We really don’t know what we had do do to get adjoining rooms as I said before not friendly to families!

Parking can be a problem as they seem to have fewer spots in the garage than guest rooms. Noise can be a problem with the stairwell doors banging loudly at night. The carpet needs a refresh and I found a few spiders lurking in the corners of my room. The restaurant is excellent unlike most hotels.

Arrived at the Delta downtown Kingston to be told that they were having Christmas parties and they had no parking left. I had to pay to park three blocks away, and drag all our bags plus three young kids to the hotel. While -12 outside. Staff said sorry, that was it. The Delta itself was clean, but the rooms were small considering the cost. The Residence Inn next door was a much better value for your money. We had a water view suite with kitchenette there for $100 less per night.

We just spent 2 nights at the Delta Kingston Waterfront hotel and loved it. The staff were amazing, the room was beautiful, with a view to die for. The location is central to anything you want to do in Kingston. While we didn't eat at the restaurant,which looked stunning, we did have snacks at the Vu which shares a kitchen. The pizza was probably the best thing we ate the whole trip. Thanks for making our anniversary extra special.

You can stay in a nearby hotel for less. There is a four points super close, costs less and I wouldn’t see any difference on hotel quality. This hotel is not category 5

We were lucky enough to have our wedding here in July and it turned out amazing, the staff were very accommodating even with all the craziness going on (general wedding insanity plus covid) and they made it a wonderful weekend that was overall stress free thanks to them. The dinner at Aquaterra was perfect and SURPASSED expectations. Thank you Brian, Harold and all staff there!!

Rooms were adequately clean (could be cleaned more) yet very poorly designed. The bathroom is almost as big as the room which makes no scene. The parking is extremely overpriced. Same thing with the restaurant. If I want to pay 40 dollars for a seafood dish I'd simply go to a fancy restaurant. The staff were extremely nice to us though. Amazing people.

The location of the hotel is great but just about everything else is mediocre. The bathtub in our room barely drained, there was almost no water pressure in the shower, the parking fees are unreasonably high, and our room didn't get cleaned after our first night even though we were leaving the room just as the room right across from us was being cleaned! For the amount of money you pay a room at the Delta Kingston, you can definitely find nicer elsewhere. With that being said, all of the staff we talked to were very nice and the check-in and check-out process was fast and easy.

Nice looking hotel, will definitely stay here next time we come to kingston, unlike the awfull Marriot across the marina.

I have stayed at the Delta Hotels Kingston Waterfront a number of times for both business and pleasure. Always a lovely stay. Easy to find parking, close to downtown and good amenities. Restaurant has a good amount of gluten free options.

You cannot beat the location right on the lake and within easy walking distance of everything. The restaurant is excellent and the staff efficient and welcoming. My only criticism of the property is the condition of the carpets which bear replacing. Very nice lobby. Have a drink at the bar and look out onto the lake.

Nice view from the room and the staff were extremely accommodating when I had to check out a day earlier than scheduled. Easy walk to all attractions, I highly recommend walking on the ferry for a quick (free!) ride to Wolfe Island. Beautiful!

Breakfast at the restaurant was great, and overall the stay would have been a 5 star review. However, the TV in my room required inputting channel numbers to change stations - no scrolling between channels otherwise, and no guide channel, so trying to relax and watch some TV was a challenge. This seemed odd for a hotel that advertises its technology and related services. Otherwise, as mentioned, everything else was great. Comfortable room, relatively quiet, and helpful staff at the desk and answering phones. Breakfast was also prompt and the food was very good.

I stayed for one night at this place but planning to come back. The hotel is located at the nice location. Rooms and washroom are spacious and clean. I stayed in twin bed room and had comfortable sleep. Good options in breakfast room. The room temperature was at cool mode and took sometime to adjust temp. So don’t forgot to set temp before going to bed.

Visited the restaurant in the lobby for food. Limited vegetarian options, but the blueberry ricotta pancakes I had were some of the best I've ever tried. The other dishes my fellow diners had were very good as well. A beautiful view of the water out the window, and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Clean hotel, the rooms were nice, but the parking was confusing

Not Ideal for dogs or young kids. You can only enter and exit this hotel one way- through a parking structure. There is no path or walkway to the front door so it didn’t feel safe walking through the parking garage with young children and a dog with cars driving in and out. The only green space for the dog to pee is a central downtown park out the parking garage exit, where there was a homeless person in the dumpster and needle disposal boxes. Our room was on the third floor, so to take the dog out it was 3 flights of stairs or the elevator and then through the parking garage to the gross park. This hotel is quite old and poorly designed, with unsightly spaces and ugly outdoor concrete walkways. The hotel has been renovated but the carpets, bathroom door and windows were dirty, and there was food on the wall in the bathroom. (See pictures) We had booked for three nights and left after one. I would not recommend this hotel. There was no microwave in the room, no extra towels/blankets or sheets, no garbage bags in the bins, and the window cannot open. There was a $100 pet deposit and the parking at the hotel cost $25 per car/ per day. A better price with better quality and value was found at the super 8 motel we checked into instead. Pretty pathetic considering the price of this delta hotel.

It's an old property, let's face it. If any of you stayed in an old property Hotel that merge the name of a very known 5 star Hotel, then I don't need to further tell it. Only the staff works there are the best. And I don't like how their A/C installed down below the window, because my 18 months old child is playing with it and getting close to A/C which is very bad that he catches cold and vomitted.

I am expected my stay would be impacted by Covid but I still expected decent meals. I ordered dinner and breakfast from room service and both were terrible. Both meals consisted of cold food including a lot of tater tots! Very disappointing. While the room was comfortable and the staff pleasant, I would strongly recommend eating elsewhere!

Our mini honeymoon getaway was excellent at the Delta Hotels by Marriott. We got a great waterfront view of Kingston. The service was amazing and room service was good. Very poor facility, and very poorly maintained. You will find the hotel off-putting from the start, with access only via a dirty and noisy garage, and the lobby will not raise your spirits. The rooms are run down and poorly maintained.
