My Fiancé and I had our Halloween wedding social here and we could not be more disappointed. Just 3 weeks before our social date, we were told the price per person, and drink prices had all increased exponentially! My fiancé had been in contact with this venue for over two years as we had to postpone our first social due to covid, and at no point in the two years other then 3 weeks before the social had they mentioned the price increase. Bev, the events coordinator was extremely unprofessional and unorganized, showing up late to meetings, taking days to answer emails, and never ended up sending us the contact information for the DJ that they provided. We had to google their information ourselves and confirm they were even booked for our event! On the night of the social, when we arrived they were not ready for us to start decorating as they didn’t even have enough table cloths for all tables. They had the opportunity to have two bars but decided only to have one which caused a 15 minute wait to get a drink all night. The food that they MADE us buy was pathetic. 1/8 of a sandwich, cheese and pickles which they charged us over $2000 for! Security was completely overwhelmed, even though it was only half capacity. Any time there was an issue, security asked us to handle it, which begs the question why security was even there? The staff started cleaning up before the night was over, throwing out peoples drinks and food. We would not recommend this venue as it added so much stress as we were under the impression things were going to be taken care of and they weren’t. We understand the challenges of running of business during covid, and those are not the issues we had. The issues we had was purely the unprofessionalism, disorganization, and the execution of the evening.
