I spent most of a morning here, and was impressed by amount of operational arcade games they had compared to other places near it. The lazer tag was fairly average, but I enjoyed the ability to change between blaster and phaser modes, compared to the traditional phaser only guns. The arcade games were extremely expensive for the amount of play time, but the prizes were good value for the amount of tickets/money spent. Most of the staff were attentive. Overall a good experience! Thanks!

Lasertopia was excellent, and a really fun activity for kids and adults alike. You get a brief introduction, you get your lasers (each with cool/interesting names), and off you go. You're either on blue or red team, and you shoot the other team to get as many points as possible. I think it's a ten minute session, but it's surprisingly intense as it's quite dark and there are a number of furniture pieces that create blind spots, dead ends, choke points, and so on. It's also surprisingly physically intense as you're running about, ducking and shooting, and generally having a blast.

Great place for events. I held a team event and everyone had a blast. They couldn’t believe all the things you could do as they thought it was just laser tag. The amazing 7-D system and all the arcade games to play are awesome. The basketball game in the corner is amazing to play. Will definitely be going back and doing more events.

Took my nephew and his friend here, and they had a blast. Though we did not eat, the food was reasonably priced. The staff were working their butts off with the counter, ticket counter and parties going on. It is just a shame that people do not clean up after themselves. Good: It's laser tag. So the kids will definitely enjoy. They get 2 games with the party and some credits for the arcade. The rooms are spacious for all-kids party. Probably not ideal if you want the parents to hang around. Parents were still able to have fun with their kids after the party at the arcade machines. Bad: I understand the no outside food policy. But I wish they would make an exception for cake in case we want to have something custom made. And this is not really a negative but just FYI, there is an age limit so smaller kids will not be able to play laser tag. Bottom line, we recommend it for minimal-effort parties. Visited July 2016

Lasertopia is a great place to hang out with friends, family. Also good for parties or groups. To put the description in a nutshell, they are the heart of Winnipeg's technology-based indoor amusements. Lasertopia features a medium sized arcade, a special "laser room" with a unique challenge of athletic skills and flexibility, a 4 person XD movie theater with laser guns that can shoot at the screen, and most of all, their biggest attraction, the laser tag arena. Laser tag arena is quite cool. It's got laser beams that move around the arena and try to hit players, laser mines, powerup targets that give your gun special bonuses, and has a 2nd floor. They've got fog, the glow, the looks everything you need for laser tag. Only thing I'd change are a few more gamemodes for the arena. Other than that, it's fantastic. There is however one aspect of the amusement centre I very much dislike, which is the main reason this review loses 1 star. The arcade is insanely overpriced, and offers almost no deals for spending a higher amount like most arcades do. My cousin and I spend $20.00 for the arcade, and only received an extra 2 credit dollars. To play any arcade game was expensive too and would eat up any credit you have on a card. Overall, the 20 dollars lasted barely 5 minutes in the arcade. Very disappointed in that. Other than that, it's great!

Decent place to go for kids party. Food was terrible this time (Update) owner gave some free time to make up for the food. The disappointing thing is that they knew the cupcakes were old but they still served the food. All of the hotdog buns were burnt and tasted like they were days old.

A great spot to hos your end of season party. Pizza, popcorn, cupcakes and pop. Not terribly good for you but hey, it is a party. The laser tag is loads of fun and the kids run around and burn off energy.

Lasertopia is the best laser tag place in winnipeg hands down. There are two floors in the play area and many hiding areas. The arcade area itself just got renovated that it can accommodate more people and of course more arcade games. They also added the mini motion theater which is also nice. The only reasons it's not at five stars is how pricey it gets to play the arcade.

Friendly staff all around, family friendly place with well maintained and fully functional equipment. The maze is fun with two stories, and has a nice ambiance! Different game styles are also available to play for different sized groups in case you want to play free for all with a few friends. The arcade has a lot of games, and a nice 3D game for 4 people but I really wished they had some rhythm games. (there's a new one called Dance Rush coming to North America soon!) I also wished they had healthier options to snack on. The slushies are pure sugar and were cheaper than bottled water! Though I know the lack of fresh/healthy food and drinks are a problem in general at kids places, I just wished more places helped kids eat better and healthier! Overall though everyone I went with had a lot of fun, regardless of previois experience playing laser tag! Thanks!

Took our 12 year old daughter and her three friends on Saturday night for 3 rounds. It was their first time there and they were a bit nervous standing in line as they were the youngest amongst older teens and some adults. The staff were friendly and very helpful and took extra care of the younger players. ALL the staff at Lasertopia were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The girls had a wonderful time.

Avoid booking this place over phone. They will give you misleading information and deny it later on when you find out, and of course you will lose your deposit if you were unsatisfied. Our game was supposed to be private when booking. However, we were told our game will be going on with another group the day of. The staff refused to assist us and denied their promise and told me that was my misunderstanding. Very interesting.

We've gone here for my daughter's past 2 birthday parties, as well as a visit or two between, and have had consistently great experiences with the staff and facility. It's really impressive how there are so many young people working here, but they don't strike me as at all disinterested - every person managing the laser tag has been friendly and patient with the kids and seems to sincerely want everyone to have fun. The staff at the front desk are especially impressively patient, since kids choosing prizes can take quite a while to make up their minds, so I would understand how that could wear on a person. All of the arcade games are in good condition and clean. The new immersive Werewolf videogame was a blast for the girls - lots of shrieking and laughing. Us parents tried it out afterwards and it was very cool - I'd recommend giving it a go!

I was told about LASERTOPIA by a co-worker who had his daughters birthday there a few months ago. I thought it would be perfect for my sons 12th Birthday. He LOVED it!!! It's great to have a place like this in the city! I got the birthday package that included 2 rounds of lasers, pizza, popcorn, cupcakes and drinks! Dan and Elisia (owners) thought of everything! The private party room was a good size, with lots of arcade games the kids can play while they wait to go inside the laser games. The party host we had was very sweet, she took great care of us and the kids loved her. My son can't wait to come back! The staff and owners are wonderful! Brought my son in yesterday with his siblings and school friends for a little birthday activity. Renovations were awesome! As a former Winnipegger, I stumbled upon Lasertopia on a recent visit and took my nephews...I couldn't believe it! What a great time and how much we laughed...especially as they slaughtered me at laser tag. We also played the other games and everyone had a blast. It's very clean (don't expect that with amusement places) and the staff were helpful when I was a bit challenged by one particular game. If you want a good time, I highly recommend this place.

Rather expensive but had fun. Giant Space Invaders and giant Pac-man. There are games that earn points/tickets which can be traded in for prizes (mostly things you can get from the dollar store). Some games were out of order though. When trading in the points for prizes, make sure your kid get what they want because they some silly rule about no exchanges (even if it was just to change to a different flavour of the same candy that has remained in its sealed wrapper). Some lame reason about don't want to spread germs to other kids in case the child is sick. Which doesn't make any sense being that kids have touched the counters and all playing surfaces.

I came to Lasertopia to attend a birthday party for a friend of my son, who is 7 yrs old. I found the facility fantastic and the staff there very friendly and helpful. I feel the facility is a great place for kids to have fun. The gaming area is great with a lot of nice games for the kids to play. I was a little worried about my son playing laser tag as he is a little small for his age but everyone was great. There was a member there that goes by the name of Nightcrawler that made my son's experience even better. Rather than shoot him all the time he would stand there and let my son shoot him. This just gave him a great thrill and made his experience even better. Thanks to all the staff and this member for making my son'e experience wonderful. We will definitely be back.

I very recently visited Lasertopia for the first time. Love everything about this place. As someone who loves lasertag, their facility is unmatched. It is extremely clean and the staff (in particular the owners) are amazing and felt very welcome here. Loved the wings too! Looking forward to my next visit!!

As a long time player of Laser Tag, dating back to my DarkZone days (9 1/2 years as a member of Darkzone), I have been a member of Lasertopia since its first day of operation and I find Lasertopia a fantastic place to enjoy a friendly game of Laser tag. One of the most enjoyable Laser Tag facilities I have ever played in. Dan and Elisia have opened an excellent facility that is set up for all ages of people to enjoy. They go out of their way to make everyone's experience to be fun-filled. The gaming area is great and the laser arena is excellent. Their staff is one of the best and they are the friendliest people I have dealt with. They go out of their way to help everyone and do an excellent job hosting birthday parties. The kids there seem to be having so much fun and even the adults have fun in the arena. The laser arena is just the right size and they play the best music during the games. I would not trade my experience at Lasertopia and would highly recommend it over any of the other Laser facilities that are around Winnipeg. Way to go Dan and Elisia !!!!!!!
