Great venue for a rustic theme

I was invited to attend the most beautiful wedding imagineable there. Even though it is quite far out of Winnipeg it was well worth the drive. The location is right in the middle of nowhere surrounded by fields and 'prairie'. The barn, barpatio and seperate house for 'MRS' and 'MR' were all very well kept clean and nice. A perfect location for any kind of bigger events with food, drinks and dancing. Big grasland for parking and a golfcart to help elderly or impaired people to reach whatever they need to access on the ground. At night the lack of lightpollution from the city led to the most beautiful starry sky I have seen for a very long time. Don't forget some insectrepellant though. About the only thing really improvable would be something to keep all those awful flies away from the food and have really hot water for the tea. Very friendly and helpful staff/owners. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely rustic decor with a super romantic feel. A beautiful mix of outdoor scenery for your ceremony, bar and dance floor. Inside it's full of wonderfully delightful decor. There's a touch of elegance and whimsy in this unique venue. Nothing else even compares. Owner is a lovely organized person who will ensure your day is special in every way. Highly recommend.

I got married here this summer, July 2016, and it was absolutely perfect! Dianne, the owner, is kind, easy going, and so devoted to helping make her customers events extra special! If you want an outdoor wedding I would highly recommend La Lune!

First off, Dianne is absolutely incredible. It is an absolute pleasure to photograph at La Lune, and to visit Dianne, it is a highlight of my season whenever I am there. She is so passionate and an amazing human being, just such a gift to the industry. La Lune is stunning, with a gorgeous array of photo locations, like the little prep cabin, the pond, and the lovely forest that sparkles with light up trees when the sun sets. Very cold inside. They turned the heat off halfway through the evening. Bathrooms and bar are not attached to the hall. The owners and staff are very nice and accommodating. With a few tweaks here and there it would be a place to have wedding.

La lune is a stunning location for any big event or wedding! We came here for a friends wedding, and it was one of the most beautiful locations I've ever attended a wedding at! It is a mix of rustic and chic - very lovely! Would definitely recommend!

After looking into nearly every wedding venue in and around Winnipeg we found La Lune and immediately fell in love. It has so much character and charm. The owner Dianne is absolutely incredible and so easy to work with before & during our wedding. She was always helpful and prompt in answering all our questions and finding excellent solutions to any issues. I can't put it into words how thankful and happy we are with our experience. The venue is amazing and we are still getting feedback from family and friends that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Her talent as a wedding host is unmatched. Dianne & the entire staff at La Lune clearly love what they do. I could go on forever with how happy we are.

Venue is amazing! The outdoor bar area is amazing with the fire pit and the lights and all the upgrades they did this summer to it. While it was a little cold out we were still able to get pull use out of it. We had to do minimal decorating because thats how beautiful this venue is. From the first time we saw it we couldn't say no. Very worth it!

My husband and I recently got married at LaLune, on a beautiful June day. We had 70 guests and had been anticipating this events for months and months. Diane and her staff absolutely blew us away; everything ran incredibly smooth. We hired Diane to do the decor for us, which included designing and obtaining table decor, cutlery, plates, glasses, table clothes, linens etc. She did this all for an EXTREMELY reasonable price (I didn't want to spend the time or money on decor) and did THE BEST JOB! The decor was amazing! Not only is Diane easy to work with, she is a problem solver; if you have a question/concern/problem, she will address it and figure it out. It was so great to have someone who basically acted like a wedding planner even though that is not her job. I can't say enough good things about her! The venue itself is incredible; located on a beautiful acreage, it truly showcases Manitoba's beauty. Every single one of our guests mentioned how much they loved the venue. From the outdoor bar/patio, to the rustic dining/reception area to the beautiful outdoor ceremony space.. it blew everyone away. And on top of that; the bridal cottage is absolutely amazing. My friends and I got ready in the cottage and enjoyed relaxing and getting ready; and then once we were ready, it was the perfect place for some mother daughter photos. It's so picturesque and cute! The entire place just radiates love and authenticity. Cannot recommend this place enough; thank you Diane and Lalune for making our special so easy and beautiful. Lalune will have a special place in my heart for years to come!
