We had booked, and placed a deposit for their services for our July wedding well in advance of any Covid issues being known. We had to cancel the planned wedding due to the virus. They were the ONLY company that returned our deposit money to us due to the restrictions being put in place by the government. Based on this I can only assume that the rest of their business is run in an ethical way, with consideration given to their client's best interest. Thank you to Molly for her understanding and professional work.

We hired Crystal Sound for both my daughter's social and wedding. We were very happy with everything for the social. DJ was excellent and kept everyone dancing - was told it was the funnest social they'd ever been to. Wedding was a different story. The DJ and the music choices were fine but the sound at the venue was terrible. The wedding was at Whitetail Meadow, and as they are the in house DJ's there I expected the sound to be excellent. The volume for the first dances was so low. They kept trying to play with the volume but when they would make it louder it would crack and cause static. The sound for the rest of the evening was so bad you couldn't tell which song was playing and had to listen for a bit to try to recognize the song. It wasn't very clear and again not loud enough. You could hear yourself singing along to the songs! They are also not very good at returning emails. Don't even bother emailing, just call them! Not a terrible experience but not amazing either. Meh.

Unfortunately, because of the experience we had with booking Crystal Sound for our wedding, we have to give a 1 star review. Communication was basically non-existent. They would not return our emails and brushed off our questions. We were told our DJ would be contacting us 2 weeks out from our wedding and after contacting the company because we still hadn’t heard from our DJ days before our wedding, we started to get a bad feeling. We received the DJ’s personal number as no one could get a hold of him. Finally after calling him multiple times the day before our wedding we were able to talk to him. But not until after he said he would call us back later because he was out for drinks with his work buddies. Yikes. So, at 8 pm the night before our wedding we talked to Tristan, our DJ for the first time about our music and the song changes we wanted. The next day (our wedding day) we are gathered for our grand entrance to the reception and my husband goes over to the DJ to introduce himself to Tristan, and the DJ says .. oh I’m not Tristan. It was a completely different DJ, and Tristan did not pass along to him any of the information we had discussed the night before! We felt awful for our new DJ because he was thrown into a situation to fail. We spent part of our dinner talking to our DJ about the music selection we wanted and the cues and songs for the dances. We really wish we could remember the name of the DJ that actually showed up for our wedding because he was so kind, and really did the best he could with what he was given. We emailed them after our wedding to try to give them this feedback directly and to ask what happened, and we didn’t receive a response. Crystal Sound, unfortunately because of this unprofessional and extremely disappointing experience with you, we will not be recommending this company for anyone looking for a DJ in the future.

Tony is kind, and fun and hilarious and knows how to throw a party and keep a crowd going! I would highly reccomend Crystal Sound and Tony! :)

We hired Crystal Sound for our Elementary School dance, and the service was outstanding! They brought an amazing set of lights, and a fantastic DJ! Nicolas Simard somehow managed to keep over 100 hyper elementary school kids extremely happy, safe, and dancing for two solid hours. We would absolutely hire them again for other events, and specifically ask for Nicholas. He was professional and super fun!

Very disappointed. I really wanted to have Crystal Sound DJ my wedding in 2021. I contacted them about 3 weeks ago. I got a number to contact Molly. I have called, texted and emailed, nobody has answered anything. So I have decided to go elsewhere seeing the communication lacks.

After a few hiccups with communication, Molly pulled everything together for us. She really is a life saver !!! The DJ, Chris Gameiro, was amazing and played everything we asked for and more. We could have danced all night long! Mike, the MC, was incredible!!! We met with him once in person and talked once on the phone, and people kept commenting on how they thought he had known us for years. Thank you Molly, Chris and Mike for making our day what it was ... the best day ever!!! <3

On the recommendation of my daughter's wedding venue we hired Crystal sound paying for the ultimate package which cost us over $980. My daughter had emailed Crystal sound on a number of occasions providing them with the version of the song she wanted playing while she walked down the aisle there are a few versions of this song so was important they got the correct one. Other than a few emails early on nobody got back to her before the wedding the day before the wedding we were scrambling and wondering if the DJ would even show up. We contacted the venue who contacted Molly who was kind enough to have someone email my daughter. On the day of the wedding I sought out the DJs there were two of them and ask them if they have the correct version of the song and told them I would be very unhappy based on the the fact they hadn't got back to us until the night of the rehearsal. When it came time to walk down the aisle they played the wrong version of the song which threw all the timing off the wedding planner at the venue try to stop it but they wouldn't stop the music. When the officiant was trying to perform the ceremony the microphone wouldn't work she stopped and told them the mic wasn't working they handed her another one which also wasn't working. She continued to perform the ceremony with most of the guests not being able to hear until about three-quarters of the way through when they finally turned the mic on. Very disappointed the music throughout the evening was repetitious but as guests were there to have a good time everybody danced anyway. Would recommend them I suppose but get it in writing and make sure they contact you well before the ceremony because they didn't seem to give a darn that they played the wrong song for my daughter to walk down the aisle and this can't be done over it's a shame

Completely different than what we discussed! We booked Crystal Sound for our wedding and we met with Junior and told him what we were looking for-an actual DJ that with some explanation of what our tastes are would give us more of a young person party and not a classic wedding set list. He told us that was what we would get and that he had a "top DJ" available for our wedding date. What we actually got was a DJ who had no knowledge of current music and played music that we specifically did not want played! We feel completely ripped off, and would NEVER recommend using Crystal Sound!!!

We booked crystal sound for our wedding social and we got Josh Ackman as our dj. He was awesome. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The dance floor was completely packed for the majority of the night and we keep hearing from everyone about how much fun they had. The lighting provided really helped set the mood for the night and the music was great. There was no input required from us at all and we were freed up to worry about other things. We will definitely be requesting him for our wedding.

We used Crystal Sound for our wedding and they just went above and beyond. They picked great music to play while guests were seated for dinner, and then got the party started with some fun dance music afterward. They set up some awesome coloured lights around the room to change the atmosphere, which looked especially great at night when it got darker in our venue. If we needed announcements made over the mic, they did that for us. If ever I needed a DJ again, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Everything was fantastic.
