Best in the city; Ken takes his time to understand what works best for you and what style. All inclusive custom tailors for EVERY shape and size. My body has a very different shape and anything I buy off the rack I have to spend $200-250 in alterations so for me it makes sense to invest in a custom tailored suite. I only were AFW

The worse service I ever had. I was promised a price from the wedding show and the day the final suit fittings he said the prices were higher. Worse experience ever. Also my suit didn't fit. Wouldn't recommend this business to anyone.

Aldo's Tux rental Dept a nightmare 1 shirt was so tight the buttons where pulling with gaps thank god he had a vest to cover it, but am sure was uncomfortable to wear, 2nd groomsman pants clips broke off to hold up his pants not an hour into wearing it, called aldo he supplied us with replacemets ...... To sizes that should be on file but to clothes that once again they couldn't fit .....thank god for saftey pins .....got to the church a groomsman pants split ( full blow out ). Called Aldo again ....instead of sending us a pair of pants to the church he insisted the groomsman come there for a new pair! Also took the time to blame us for all the issues we were having. No pocket squares in there bags and also cuff links missing. Gentleman on the phone was overly rude insisting he's in the right, as he tried to put back the blame on us he obviously has crappy customer service skills along with crappy tailoring skills. Took my suit I bought from a big box store a couple years ago to Ken for alterations to have it more modern looking (wasn't happy with the way it was altered by the big box store...it was too loose everywhere). It's like a totally new suit. The alterations were spot on. Pants were tapered and hemmed to give me a slimmer look with room to move comfortablely. The jacket was taken in on the sides to give me the "V" shape everyone loves. All within a reasonable budget and in a timely manner. Couldn't be happier!

If you’re in the market for a suit that makes a statement, this is the place to go. Ken, the owner/stylist is very knowledgeable and does a great job explaining everything to you. He knows what’s in and will make suggestions based on that and your feedback. He’s made about 10 suits for me and all of them have been amazing. My husband Dave and I can't say enough great things about Ken and the team at Aldo Formal Wear. We purchased a custom suit/tux for Dave for our wedding, and our three groomsmen rented tuxedos. Not only is Dave's custom suit ridiculously nice, but the tux rentals are also very nice, and are sized to fit. You won't see any baggy rentals here. We must also note how much we appreciated Ken's understanding and flexibility as we navigated planning what ended up being three weddings during the pandemic. Suit came out OK at best in the end. Issues were with dishonesty with pricing and service. The tailor (Ken) agreed to have my suit done on a specified date and when I came to pick it up on the agreed upon date it was unfinished, Ken then rushed the project to have it completed the next day and gave the full garments to me unfinished and poorly done.

Ken was a great guy to work with. We needed 3 suits for my brother's wedding in a month and he was able to have everything done in time with no problems. His advice was helpful as we had never had to coordinate suits before, and everyone was happy with the results. Great quality and style. An added bonus is that he allows you to bring your bike into the shop as he too is a cycling enthusiast.

Overall the suits fit and looked really good. The quality of the material and tailor work is also quite high. Working with the team there was at times a bit frustrating (creative differences/pricing of rental shirts) but they were always willing to talk out any questions or concerns that I had. After coming so highly recommended by a couple different people, we were grossly disappointed with every interaction we had with Aldo Formal Wear leading up to our wedding day. When my husband and I originally met with Ken to discuss commissioning him, and eventually decided to do exactly that, we walked away feeling confident that we would be taken care of. We were so wrong. I was adamant that I wanted all the groomsmen in bow ties. I showed up to my ceremony and none of them had bow ties - they were all wearing normal ties which I did not want. Our wedding pictures were effectively ruined. Furthermore, when each of the groomsmen went to pick up their tux, they questioned the fact that they were given ties and said they were supposed to get bow ties. Ken outright lied to each of them and said "the plans had changed." Neither my husband or I had ever communicated a change of plans with him. Additionally, each of the groomsmen tried their tuxes on before taking them home and not one of them fit. They had to request different pants, jackets, and shirts. It was as if the measurements taken by Ken three months before the wedding were just thrown out. All the men - groom and groomsmen - paid to have vests and none of them got them. All the guys were overcharged the agreed upon price. The deposit we put down to reserve our wedding day was never refunded. My dad was charged for shoes and never got them. And the shirt he received was not even white; he had to wear his own shirt. Additionally, though the least of our problems, my husband's bow tie was pilling and was obviously passed its prime. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Aldo Formal Wear My husband got a custom outfit made there and we are so happy with the results, price, and service! He had a simple pant and shirt combo with suspenders and a bowtie. Our consultant helped him select all the fabrics based on a photo I secretly showed her but was able to tie in some components my husband was excited about, like having funky buttons on his shirt. When my husband purchased a tie online that he liked but should have gotten a bowtie instead, she was super innovative and crafted it into this amazing, thick bowtie. She was able to help him select the best shoe colour to look for, suspenders, and tie options because if you haven’t noticed there are so many colours to choose from! Definitely recommend!

Staff were very friendly and the suits looked great. The only complaint I have was that on the day of the wedding, they didn't give shoes to our 2 groomsmen saying that they don't need it. They rented the complete set (suits, tie, socks, and shoes). So my brother-in-law had to go back and pick up the shoes and they made him pay for the 2 pairs. He just paid it so our groomsmen could have their shoes.

they told me my suit will be done in 2-4 weeks but one and half months past it not even ready for first fitting! Eventually got delivery days before the wedding and noticed the embroidery had my name misspelled. They said it was no problem, take it back after the wedding and they will fix it. I was surprised to learn that it was ready after just a few days but was so disappointed to see that they just put a patch on it on my $1000 dollar suit! I asked them to fix it again and after a month, they still tried to cut corners with the fix. I took the suit anyway as I knew it wouldn't get any better and i am tired of going back to their shop over and over. Not a single apology after all that trouble and I understand people make mistakes but they didn’t even try to make it right in any way.
