Nice wedding location... In a tent/building so do not expect air conditioning. Had large fans, but aimed at head table(rightfully so) and the DJ (Hmmm) regardless, the wedding was beautiful and that is all that matters!

My daughter got married there this past wknd. All I have to say is that looks can be deceiving. When they looked at the venue a year ago compared to when we showed up to set up was so completely different. It was run down looking and unkept. We were able to set up the hall the day before thank goodness! Bcuz one of the tables they set up was broken right down the middle. Table cloths were stained or mouldy. Our entire 2 days there we had almost no interaction with ppl from the venue except for one young guy who was stuck taking care of things for us. The owners were nowhere to be found! The house we got to use to get ready in was musty and smelled SO BAD!!! They hardly clean the place. Under the furniture looks like it never gets touched. I can not believe the condition they leave the house in. I would be embarrassed. As for the food, it tasted ok. But I didn’t know that they had made a separate meal for my allergies until AFTER we had already ate. The only reason I know was bcuz a lady came to find me and rudely gave me heck for not finding someone to bring me a plate that I didn’t know was made. Coffee was only made when they were asked for it. Pop was only brought out when we asked where it was. They said they were only offering if it was asked for. Seriously? The property itself makes for nice pictures. I’ll give it that. But the rest of our experience, I’m sorry but my daughter and her new husband did NOT get what they paid for! Service was horrible as there was little to none the entire time. They were told that the owner would be close by the whole evening in case we needed anything. Nope. Sadly, I do not recommend this place.

I was a bride who got married here in October of 2019. Everything was great leading up to the day; staff were great with communication, flexible, & accommodating. However, the day before the wedding was when our experience turned more sour. We had rehearsal, & the place looked disgusting. Puke covered a stall in the mens washroom. it had been left SO long, that it was black already & made the bathroom smell horrendous. Until I told a staff member it needed to be done, there were no plans to rake the leaves piled up on the patio & around the doors of the building. The house was also still a mess, with beer cans & other garbage all over the place. There were messes that my family had to clean up due to the staff not taking care of it. We hired the venue so that my family wouldn't have to work, so this really ticked me off. Luckily, staff came in the evening/early morning & cleaned everything up really well, though it should have never been left like that for so long, especially the puke. Then came the day of. We were told a fire would be kept going throughout the night, which we were REALLY looking forward to. This never ended up happening. Upon signing the contract, we were also told we would have the place till 1am. However, staff were rushing my family that stayed to clean out of there before midnight. My aunt told me she had gone inside to make sure everything was cleaned up, & the lights were all completely shut off. It wasn't even midnight yet! Also, they kept 3 of our cases of beer. When we reached out to them about this, they acknowledged they still had our drinks, & we tried to set up a time to get them back. They never text back & just kept our drinks. Also, during the reception 2 of the toilets stopped working in the ladies room (leaving only 1 toilet & a long line), & the toilets in the mens room were also having problems. There were many great aspects. The venue is gorgeous, they were very flexible during the process, & the staff were very accommodating when we made a minor mistake on our end. The food was also amazing & we got many comments from our guests on it throughout the night! Like I said, many great aspects with this venue, unfortunately also some poorly managed areas.

Beautiful venue - my husband and I got married here in May this year and I have nothing but good things to say about Pete and his staff. The venue is gorgeous, our guests were wowed by the beautiful tent with it's gorgeous chandeliers. The only extras we brought in were our centerpieces, guestbook table decor and a few potted flowers to line the aisle. The food was fantastic, I have heard nothing but good things about it from our guests. The late night nacho bar was a HUGE hit! I loved being able to be onsite in the house all day watching the set up from the upstairs windows while I was with my girls getting ready. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. I am so happy with our choice to be married there. It's a day I will never forget. The only downside was that, due to a fire-ban, we were unable to utilize the outdoor fireplace on the patio which I was really looking forward to but the dry weather wouldn't allow it; still, the day was absolutely beautiful! One staff member even brought in her own personal projector and hooked it up for us so we could all watch the Jets in the playoffs that night (they won!)

The venue was fabulous but hard to find. I had to back track. I was looking for a sign but it was written on the side of an old truck hidden by trees. Good thing I left early or I would have missed my niece's wedding ceremony. Use your GPS!

I had a beautiful time at this venue! Even though the weather was colder than expected they lit a fire, the staff was lovely and the food was great!

The trees and flowers were beautiful!! The food was gross. Would not be a happy bride with that!! And the maintenance of the yard could have been cleaned up ALOT!!

No air conditioning, attended a wedding on a hot day. Staff attempted to cut off the water during the reception and there was Elderly people who had a very hard time with the heat. Needs better signage as multiple cars almost got into accidents from slamming the breaks on attempting to turn into the property. Was not impressed with the banquet service. There are other venues that provide a better value for your dollar. Look around.

Recently attended a wedding at this location. GORGEOUS VENUE, however the service staff are terribly rude. Being in the restaurant industry myself I couldn’t believe the attitude and comments made to myself and other guests. Either clean house or staff need to mind their manners a bit more.

Attended a wedding November 2017 at this venue and was really surprised. From the moment you drive up the drive to the grounds(even in winter). grounds were beautiful. If your a smoker the grounds had a fireplace going and benches for you sit , all night the staff made sure that fire was going. The venue inside was also beautiful, the restroom were always cleaned by staff always checking to make sure it was in order. the meal was excellent. It was buffet and yet it was hot and there was more then enough for all 200 guests. The serving staff were all in nice clean uniforms, the bartenders(which were 2 girls) were very nicely dressed. The manager that was working was polite and and very pleasant and willing to help with anything you required. In all from the venue, food and staff it why I rated it 5 for excellent

What a nice wedding venue. I attended my friend's wedding here in mid-August, and it was one of the nicer weddings I've been to. They have a nice facade for conducting the ceremony (although it did somewhat resemble a Mediterranean prison, if you choose to look at that way) and an enclosed tent for a reception. The facility was not air conditioned, but they did provide nice large fans to create some airflow. Great food too.

My wife and I just got married there this past sunday, and what we experienced was great food the set up and taking down was awesome the staff made sure we were satisfied. However before we got married they were impossible to get a hold of to try to book in for rehearsals or take a look around with a staff member, the head manager admitted he had no knowledge of what was going on and to try to get a hold of the other staff for emails. In addition during our wedding some of our wedding cards with cash were stolen, we have contacted the venue with no response and no word of any compensation, we are not blaming the venue just wanting to make people aware to get locked card boxes. My wife and I are completely heartbroken and disappointed that someone would do such a thing, we are also disappointed that we have not been contacted.

Don't waste your money the food is sub par...the toilets barely work no water pressure!...don't forget to guard your drinks the servers a quick to take your drinks away half full or even 3/4 full wine does not get left on the tables. All around seemed to cut corners. I would not get married here.

We got married there this September. The most beautiful venue! Perfect outdoor location for a wedding. The tent is beautiful you don't need to go crazy on decorations the place speaks for itself. Pete was very accommodating and helpful. Food was fantastic. I was a little worried when I read all the reviews about how they are disorganized and don't respond right away. but I didn't experience that at all.

Loved our experience here at The Evergreen Village. Pete was probably the most accommodating especially during the pandemic. Food was delicious, place was beautiful. Everyone raved about the dining hall and the beautiful greenery in the venue. I would highly recommend!

We had a wedding in spring here and it was beautiful. The lawn was a lush green and the kids had space to run around outdoors. Also the little house with all the antique stuff made the photographs beautifully retro.

The venue is gorgeous! Throughout our planning process our emails were answered quickly. The food was delicious! We did have a couple incidents though that took away from our day... If you rent chairs from somewhere else, please note that they do not follow the 5 min move indoors policy. We found this out only on the day of our wedding. We also had to have the chairs removed that night, by us. We offered to pay extra and could not be accommodated. We found this out 2 days before the wedding. Additionally, a handful of our wedding cards/gifts were stolen. We are not blaming the venue, but I have seen other reviews about this venue having this issue as well. Make sure you LOCK up your card box. We hope the venue will look into getting security cameras as this seems to happen there on multiple occasions. This is very unfortunate and really put a bad ending to our day. We also didn't realize that the bar was social style. The bartenders only poured the alcohol, they didn't mix any drinks. If you use John from the Niverville grocery store to deliver your alcohol, make sure you ask in advance for a copy of the alcohol being delivered. Overall the venue was great, just a couple heads up pieces to help your day there run smoother!
