I’ll start off by saying our wedding was NOT easy. We didn’t get married in a typical hall type of setting where everything is usually in one place. We had individual vendors for each and every single thing, down to our forks, knives, chairs, caterer, flowers etc... Simona’s mission was to coordinate between alllll of these companies. Not only did she have to do that, she also had to deal with my very DIY wedding creations. My seating chart which was held together by string had malfunctioned and she even had a part in the décor, which was set up perfectly. She reassured me that everything was going to be okay and gave me the confidence I needed to get through the day. She did an amazing job managing all the elements of our wedding, from all of our vendors, dealing with a DIY bride(me) and also making sure the wedding ran smoothly and on schedule. She really went above and beyond her duties. Simona kept us on track throughout the process, answered any questions and made sure that we stuck to our timelines. On top of that, she has a wonderful personality and is very tactful when dealing with family and friends and all the different personalities that go along with a wedding. I would highly recommend Simona as a wedding planner. If she can handle our wedding, she can handle anyone’s wedding.

If you are considering hiring a planner or coordinator, look no further! Simona is everything in a neatly wrapped package that offers much more than just her services. A friend of mine and I randomly stumbled upon Something Blue Events website and thank goodness we did! We hired Simona as our day coordinator, we were on a tight budget with a guest list of 50. Our goal was a small and intimate wedding for our family and close friends. Tight budget meant we would do all the planning ourselves. My husband was in his busy season during the summer and had to work roughly 1.5months straight which left me with a tired fiance and most of the planning fell on my shoulders. Simona walked me through the process of the things I needed to get done, she assisted me wherever she could and provided me solutions wherever she could. She got me in contact with her vendors as I was overwhelmed and did not know which vendors to choose. She made sure I felt comfortable, worked with me as the big date was approaching. As with most couples, we were riddled with so much anxiety on the big day, I forgot how our itinerary would go, I started freaking out about the decor and seating arrangements. When I arrived at the venue and saw Simona's calm face with her assistants and I knew we would be okay. Her team made sure everything was set up beautifully, our guests and especially our parents felt so comfortable with her. She made sure we were fed and hydrated, got us anything we needed and made sure everything we discussed would take place at our wedding. Our wedding went off without a hiccup and I am so greatful we found Simona and had her in our corner. Our family guests even mentioned to us about how attentive Simona was with us and how sweet she was! Trust her & her team on one of your biggest milestone day and you won't regret it. Simona really stepped up and made sure our wedding day went perfectly. My wife and I thought we could handle all of the organization ourselves, but as the day approached we realized we didn’t want to ask anyone to run around on the wedding day and make sure all of our vendors were arriving and setting up on time. We’re very fortunate that we found Something Blue. Simona walked through our space ahead of time and checked through all of our complex plans. Spending some time with her put as at ease as we were confident in her ability to handle any day-of problems that could arise. Simona was incredible!! Without her, our wedding day wouldn’t have ran as smooth as it did! She made sure that everything ran on time, coordinated our family photos, dealt with anything and everything that came up (including a surprise performance!), made sure that we were eating and much more! All of this really contributed to a successful and stress-free wedding day! Aside from the day of the wedding, Simona also met with us a few times in the weeks leading up to the big day to ensure that we were on top of everything. She provided helpful checklists to aid with this part as well! She was also more than happy to answer any questions we had (and we had a lot). On top of that, Simona met with us for our rehearsal and helped lead that along with our officiant. She took notes throughout the rehearsal so that she could direct our parents, bridal party, and us on the day of, which was really reassuring! Simona also worked on our day of schedule with us. Once finalized, she sent it out to all of our vendors which was extremely helpful as timing questions always come up leading up to the big day. Simona was also our representative for any last minute questions our vendors had which was extremely valuable to me as I only had one person to answer to. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Simona. Our wedding day would not have been as amazing as it was without her. Not only is she super adaptive in her approach, she is also genuinely invested in and cares for her couples! She was more than just a day of coordinator. She was the piece that held everything together! She really reduced our stress in the weeks leading up to the day and provided us with solutions whenever we ran into issues. Future brides and grooms really underestimate the number of small details and stress that starts to creep up leading up to the day. As an organized and detail-oriented person who thought she can handle it all, I am telling you that it gets overwhelming no matter how prepared you think you’ll be!! Trust us, hire Simona. She is worth every penny! A wedding day with Simona as your day of coordinator will 100% result in a successful and stress-free day. It really allowed us to enjoy our day without being concerned with the logistics of the event. P.S. My husband was against getting a day of coordinator for the longest time. My wedding day was absolutely amazing, and I attribute this to hiring Simona as our day-of coordinator. I decided to do all the decor myself for both the ceremony and reception, and I was very worried that my vision would not be executed to my standards, but after meeting with Simona for the first time, I knew I would be in good hands. Simona was very professional, organized, calm, and super fun - all the qualities you need for a great wedding coordinator. She went above and beyond, and although we only hired her for the day-of, she was available to answer my all questions throughout the year-long planning process, and it really felt like all her attention was on our wedding during the month before the big day (even though she had several other weddings on the go as the same time). She made sure to ask about information I did not even think about, she kept very detailed lists and diagrams, and she helped the day run so smoothly as a result. I, who is normally really anxious and like to micromanage, was total calm on my big day and felt totally comfortable leaving everything up to Simona. This truly speaks to how good she is a her job. Simona is the best wedding planner! After trying and failing to plan my own wedding three times (each time attempt was cancelled due to money issues, family issues, and pandemic issues), I finally hired a wedding planner. I'm soooooooo happy that we found Simona! She is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and just generally awesome. From day 1, Simona was on top of everything, asking us specific and relevant questions, pointing out what we needed to do ASAP and what could wait, asking us about details that I hadn't even thought of, communicating with all the vendors, and staying on top of everyone - vendors, bride, groom, wedding party - to ensure that the wedding went smoothly and happily. Everyone told me how awesome Simona was, including my hair and make-up artist, DJ, and mother - none of whom are easy to impress. Simona was with us every step of the way. When I had a disagreement with the DJ two days before the wedding, she found us someone new. When I texted Simona on the morning of the wedding to say I was panicking about my hair low lights, the potential for rain in the forecast, and my lack of sleep, Simona wrote back right away to say that my hair artist would emphasize my highlights, Simona would get me an espresso, and she got another tent delivered within the hour. Even as I write this, my sister is commenting that my wedding would have completely fallen apart without Simona. I recommend her 1000%

My fiancé and I weren't originally convinced we should hire a day-of-coordinator for our backyard wedding but we now both agree that having Cynthia there was the BEST decision we made while planning. Simona and Cynthia were incredible to work with. Leading up to the event, they provided us with organizational templates, refined details, and constructed our timeline. They touched base with all of our vendors before the event, leaving us to enjoy the lead up to our big day without any stress. Words can not express how helpful Simona was us! She truly was heaven sent. Simona really took the time to help us organize our wedding. We hired her as the day of coordinator but I believe she provided a lot more support. She created a detail schedule and itinerary of our wedding day, she contacted our vendors prior to the date. She was present and helped organize or wedding rehearsal. We had a huge wedding with 400 people and Simona and her team honestly made sure everything was done on time. My family and friends who previously had a day of coordinator said that Simona and her team was the best they have ever witness.
