Hired Scheme a Dream as the entertainment for our event cancelled less than a week before. Called and Marilyn Monroe was suggested and it was perfect. She asked questions that left the guests asking how she knew so much about the guest of honour. I would hire again in a second.

You know when you're looking around for a service and you start calling around to different service providers hoping someone will get back to you? Alexis at Scheme A Dream was an absolute dream to work with. My initial inquiry was responded to quickly and shortly thereafter I had what I wanted at a reasonable price. Alexis delivered exactly as she promised and our lawn display was awesome! - I wish I had taken a picture of it at night. My daughter's Covid-safe 10th Birthday was a success and she loved waking up to this beautiful display on our front lawn - what a great way to start her day! We have used Sceme a dream for 3 years now, and the first year our original Santa got hospitalized last minute and I had to find a Santa in less than an hour. Not only did I get a Santa but he arrived on time within 20 mins all ready to go with his little elf helper. I always request Santa Alex for our Old Dutch children's Christmas party. My office has used Scheme a Dream for our children's Christmas party every year for over seven years. Not only do we get the same Santa every year (who remembers the children!) he takes a lot of time with each child, never hurrying just to rush the line. He's so patient with the scared children, doing his best to comfort them and get them to engage with him, even if it's just a high five. He's incredible with the special needs children as well, so patient and lovely. I can't recommend Scheme a Dream enough for your party needs.

Yesterday we had Princess Ariel come for our daughters 3rd birthday. She was absolutely amazing with the kids, and has a beautiful voice! We all thought she was lip syncing for the first few seconds of the song, thats how amazing she was!! There was 6 kids hanging off of her (at all times, and playing with her hair) which she didn't mind at all. She stayed later than she had to. She didn't rush to leave as soon as the hour was over! We will definitely use their services in the future. Couldn't have asked for a better entertainer!

I had a great customer experience with Scheme A Dream. I’m based in Edmonton but wanted a 30th birthday surprise for my friend in Winnipeg. The process was easy and I got exactly what I wanted - my friend thought it was hilarious that a cow showed up to sing him happy birthday. The Marilyn Impersonator was absolutely fabulous - on point with her voice and diction, her mannerisms, as well as her costume. She was a great singer when she sang a few Marilyn songs. Our mother turned 90 on Saturday. My sister, in Calgary, was clever enough to think of sending an act from Scheme- A-Dream as neither of us could be in Winnipeg celebrate with her (Covid 19). Margaret (very helpful) suggested Elvis and he did not disappoint. His great voice got over 30 neighbours to come outside their doors. Everyone taking pictures and enjoying the show (especially the Birthday Girl!) What a great way to celebrate in these times of isolation. So much better than a virtual drink over Zoom. Thank you Margaret and Elvis!

I would just like to personally thank scheme a dream and Alexis personally they went above and beyond expectations to make my daughters birthday as perfect as possible I’m a father from Ontario who unfortunately wasn’t able to be there so they actually videotaped the whole experience for me they set up balloons to come 10 mins early before Elsa arrived and really just made everything perfect thank you so much for everything I highly recommend scheme a dream I will be using again in the very near future!!!

We have hired Scheme a Dream twice now for both my parents birthdays over the past year! (Two important birthdays that fell during covid... 65 & 70). This was a wonderful way to make up for the fact we couldn't gather to celebrate them. The staff were timely in their responses, polite and professional, and genuinely lovely to deal with. All things were set up as requested and on time! (The only oops was the blow up flamingoes timer was a bit off and turned off in the middle of the day, and the lights were only on for about 10 minutes after dark, but all small potatoes). Highly recommended! Thanks for making covid birthday's a little more fun!

From start to finish the whole experience was impeccable. We live in the States and we were not able to celebrate our daughter's birthday with her. Mary Poppins was exquisite, stayed in character, and was extremely personable and caring just as Mary Poppins would be. :) Her voice was a dream to listen to and my daughter and my parents were so impressed in this intimate setting of a living room. We had my sons 4th bday party and had Spider-Man show up. There was a misunderstanding between us about the booked time but at the end Scheme A Dream staff dealt with it in a professional matter. Even Spider-Man himself called us to apologize and they made every effort to get to the party asap. At the end of the day all that mattered that my boy could run to Spider-Man and give him a hug. He entertained the kids by playing games with them. Even the adults were entertained (some adults wanted him to show how he swings from building to building but there was no tall buildings around us ????). One thing I would add (and this is just me comparing it to my friends experiences) that maybe the 1 hour visit could include maybe a story telling. Towards the end it seemed like everyone was starting to look for something new to happen. Overall I would recommend to others %100.

I had a lot of questions at first, unsure which performer to choose, and the company always responded right away to my emails answering all my questions and helping me make a decision. We had Bon Jovi come out and he was great! He interacted well with the birthday girl and the rest of the audience, sang well and had all of the personal details memorized. Overall I would definitely recommend this company to anyone! We recently used Scheme a Dream for an emergency party. We had a mishap with a 4 year old party, and needed to create a new plan fast! I called the company at noon, and they had Spiderman at our house within hours. If it wasn't for them the poor little boy would have not had a 4th birthday! Exceeded my expectations. Was my husbands 50th birthday last month and I contacted Alexis about doing a fishing theme since he loves it so much. They didn’t have anything that would’ve worked for that theme so her and I decided on a pic which they then had printed on chloroplast. VERY early in the morning(guessing somewhere around 2am), the crew came up and staked the 50walleye in the yard along with a couple extra signs that were optional. The walleye looked phenomenal and The Husband absolutely LOVED it!! I highly recommend them as they are very professional, very easy to work with, very friendly and very affordable! If I ever have another event where I think they could be used, I will most certainly be calling!! Thank you Alexis for a very memorable day ????

Fantastic! Iron man was a real hit. It was a small party (7 kids) and a small area (we were forced inside by the heat and a wasps nest) but he played great games and won over even the shyest kids. My kids are still talking about it, and ask me when iron man is coming back to visit.

We had Santa come to our preschool centre for a visit with 40 children Monday morning. This is the 3rd year we have used this Santa and we are always impressed by how wonderful he is with the children. He takes time to speak to each child and make them feel comfortable even if they don't want to sit with him. He also makes sure we are able to get a good picture with each of them for their parents. We had Belle and Beast to our daughters 2nd Birthday party back in August and all our guests loved it. Our daughter still tells people about it all the time. Belle read a book to the kids, gave them glitter tattoos, and sang to our daughter (amazing voice!). Both then stayed to sing Happy Birthday with her and blow out the candles. We hired this company to send Spiderman to our sons birthday party. It was a great experience for the kids. The actor was very engaging! He had a large group of toddlers full attention and participation for an hour straight. Hats off to anyone who can do that! Perhaps most importantly is how they dealt with an unexpected and unavoidable issue. Before the event was slated to begin- the zipper broke on the spidey suit! Thankfully they had a spare available very quickly. The event started only 15 minutes behind. The actor stayed for longer than he had to after that. We then received a call from the owner offering a sincere apology and even the offer of a credit in lieu of the situation. To me this speaks volumes of the professionalism and sincerity of the company. Would not hesitate to recommend

I just randomly discovered through an ad on the street well at a bus stop and thought what a great idea! I hired the Johnny Cash impersonator for my sister's birthday and it was the best experience we had! He sang a few songs, talked with her a bit. She definitely enjoyed it as she was completely surprised had no idea! Definitely recommend giving this a try!!!

Hired an actress to come play as Elsa from Frozen for our daughters 3rd birthday party. My daughter and the kids seemed to enjoy her. But for the money that we paid, and the feedback we got from the adults... I wouldn't say she was the "life of the party". She got us to gather the kids and got them to sit together for story time... in the corner of the gym, sorta hidden from the party. My wife and I expected a "energetic", "enthusiastic", or "outgoing" kind of entertainment. But Elsa seemed to have very low energy and I guess unmotivated in my opinion at my daughters party. For the money we paid, I don't think we would go with their service again to be honest. Sorta disappointed, but maybe I just thought we were actually going to get actual true-to-life entertainment like what we see in the movies(?)... The main thing was that my daughter seemed to enjoy her company and was totally in awe to have Elsa at her party.

Fantastic experience! I had seen mascots provided by Scheme A Dream in action many times at an annual picnic we attend, so this year I decided to send a minion to my son's daycare centre for his birthday. The coordinator is available at all hours via text which make the planning effortless, and photos of the mascots are available on their website so you know exactly what you're getting. They let all the kids at the daycare have a turn visiting the minion, let them take photos, and I even got a follow-up text afterward letting me know how it went. Would certainly recommend them!

My husband turned 50 and I decided to throw him a party. I was having 50 people at our home Saturday night. I thought it may be funny to put all of those ‘old buzzards on the yard. My husband is hard to buy for and hard to surprise. My daughter and I waited up on Friday night to see them put the buzzards on the yard, but the never came! I was upset and called at 8:30am in Saturday morning to find out what happened!!!??? The lady that answered the call told me that she thought it was for Saturday night and said she thought the ground would still be too frozen to put the buzzards in. I was obviously upset because I was not only looking forward to surprising my husband, but I had had a giant buzzard cake made to match the ‘old buzzard’ theme!! She offered to send a nerd at no cost. At first I refused and just wanted to sulk! I decided to let them send the nerd and got off the phone. I called back at around 10am and asked if I could maybe just have the giant blow up buzzard to which she replied that she would love to, but the ground may be too frozen. I said you know what I’m not even upset anymore, just disappointed. I told her that we own our own business, and know that mistakes happen. She said she was so sorry and she would see what she could do. I was gone for a couple hours and saw that she called back! I returned the call. She said that they had been to my house and were able to put all of the buzzards and the blow up as well!! I was so happy and impressed. But that wasn’t the only news. She said there would be no charge at all!!! I insisted that she let me pay for something, but she said that it was done and done and in the end they even sent the nerd! This is a long story, but it shows fabulous customer service and a commitment to making sure that my party was a success! Thank you so very much for the extra effort effort! The party was a huge success and everyone loved the decorations and nerd. The story was retold that night and will continue to be shared!

Scheme a dream set up an amazing lawn display for a 50th birthday. The set up was loud and fun that contributed to a pretty incredibly day for the birthday boy. It was throughout the night for the early morning surprise. We created a Facebook event for our friends and family to drive by between a certain time and we set up in the front driveway and waved and chatted to everyone that couldn’t help us celebrate in person. It was an incredible turn out as everyone is making the best of our current situation. I wanted to share his comment which warmed my heart. He said. I woke up thinking it was going to be like any other day and instead it was fun and memorably that I still was able to celebrate with all our friends. We had her friends drive by at a specific time to honk and yell Happy Birthday! My daughter absolutely loved everything about it and felt extra special that day!

I booked a Santa for my staff Chistmas party and he didnt show up. Apparently, there was some scheduling conflicts in which they didnt put our reservation on the Santas schedule. We had over 30 kids patiently waiting for Santa. He was supposed to be here at 2:30. At 2:45 I got a phone call stating the mishap and that he would be able to make it. The whole reason we rented a Santa in the first place, is so that ALL staff could enjoy the Christmas party with their familes. This wasnt the case because in the end we had staff handing out presents to the kids. And what really gets me is that someone called me THE DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM OUR RESERVATION. What was the point of confiming if the person who is in charge of booking cant do their job. It was just very dissapointing that the Santa didn't show up. I do not recommend using this company at ALL becuase this a great example of how unprofessional and patheric this company is. YOU GUYS DISSAPONTED A LOT OF KIDS!!!!!!

Scheme a dream did a facetime meet with my daughter to cheer her up, she was having a hard time during our covid 19 outbreak. After her meet with princess elsa she was glowing . They sang let it go together and not a dry eye im the house! It was so magical for her . I highly recommend them and i will be a booking more visits! Prices are great and woth every penny !!! We had Elsa & Anna for my daughters 4th birthday party this past weekend, and it was fabulous! All the kids were so excited and entertained. They sang their songs (great voices), read their story, played pin the nose on Olaf, and gave glitter tattoos to everyone as well as necklaces. They also helped with presenting the cake which made that moment even more special. As an add on I got my daughter the metal tiara which Elsa presented to her. She had all the children do a drum roll to make it more exciting. My daughter was over the moon excited to be crowned an as offical princess by the ice princess herself. All the parents were very impressed as Elsa & Anna were able to entertain all of the children on their own for a majority of the party. I would definitely recommend Scheme a Dream to anyone looking to hire someone for their child’s next birthday party! Well worth it! :)

I hired a Santa from Scheme a Dream to visit our office kids Christmas party. From the moment he arrived he was absolutely perfect. He was friendly and great with the children. He interacted with them on a one on one basis singing Christmas carols, handing out candy canes and gifts and asking them questions. He went the extra mile allowing us the time to take family photos and group photos. This guy could teach others how to be a great Santa. We had Elsa perform at a princess party for 3-4 year old girls. She read a story, sang and danced with the girls. She transitioned from one activity to the next wonderfully, and she was able to independently manage the group. As a parent I didn’t feel the need to “control” anything which was nice. The performers voice was absolutely beautiful. Alexis was great during the booking process, we chose a 30 minute performance and we all felt like it was the perfect amount of time.

it was my husband's 60th and we had a brunch buffet with family on a Sunday. I needed to keep it family like, tasteful, elegant but still fun. Margaret suggested Marilyn Monroe who came in and sang Happy Birthday to my husband and about three other songs for a total of about 30 minutes. Margaret was right. Our Marilyn spoke like her, similar mannerisms and was a gem of a person. I was asked questions before hand so Marilyn spoke like she knew my husband and our family. My 93 year old father-in-law was totally entertained and it was a character he knew and recognized. It was very personalized, funny and entertaining. I highly recommend scheme a dream when you want to add something extra to a party. If you don't know what you want......Margaret will help. Next time for a party with friends I'm considering Borat!!! Last week was my sister's 70th birthday. Covid-19 restrictions limited us on what could be done but my brother and I decided we wanted to do something memorable if not a party. Boy! We nailed it by hiring Scheme A Dream! They went the night before and set up my sister's yard with 70 cows, a huge double sided sign, and a 7-ft. inflated birthday cake, plus a Honk Its My Birthday sign. Everyone loved it! And so did she! The only thing she complained about was 'Now all my neighbours know how "&%$$#* old I am!!'

Booked for a Birthday Party a little over a year ago. The owner phoned me and said that there was a scheduling conflict and that the entertainer would have to come half an hour later. I said okay because the kids really wanted a facepainter. So we get to the party and it's not even the entertainer but the owner who comes dressed as this raggedy clown with a big dent in her shoe, I am assuming that she could not get her regular entertainer and had to dress up herself as a clown and come down. Then she started doing the facepainting, it was horrible, she painted my toddler's face into a "Pirate" and he just had big black paint smears all over his face and he was crying. Then for the little girls she made them princesses and made crowns on their heads with this ugly yellow paint, needless to say none of the kids were happy. Then she was supposed to make balloon animals and all she made were simple pirate swords FOR EVERYONE! When she finally dressed up as Pablo I was relieved that she didn't have to do anything else other than dance around. Then she gave my son his FREE pablo balloon which was all deflated and didn't even float anymore. But she apologized and told me that if I was ever in the area again to stop by and she'd give me a new one. As if I'm going through all that trouble to go get a balloon. From our experience this place was way overpriced for the service that we received. After the party, everyone said I should have asked for my money back but I just wanted it to be over with.

He has been wonderful with each of the children as they have grown, calm and gentle when they were babies, teasing and interested as they get older. There is time for photos, individual and groups. When I first called to book the lady was pleasant and enthusiastic to be part of my daughters party & Omg the princesses were amazing! They came to my daughters 7th birthday, told their story and sang their theme song. It could be overwhelming throwing a bug party with 80 kids but the princess entertained all of them including parents too. Our Favorite was the little dance they had kids and parents join in. I booked the giant beer mug inflatable for my husband's 40th birthday. The communication from the start was great. Easy to get a hold of. Easy to work with. Gave me all the options and prices and helped me figure out what to put on the board. They came overnight and set up and he woke up to it and was soooo excited. Not doing set up or take down is great. One less thing for me to worry about. The neighbours honked like crazy and everyone had fun. They came 24 hours later and took it all down. Cleaned it all up. We really loved it. Everyone is still talking about it. I highly recommend this service for a wow factor to a celebration!

My favorite package they offer is the Royal Storybook under Princess Parties. I get my girls to choose their favorite princess and they come out and entertain by singing, dancing, reading the children a story, there is glitter tattoos and well as assisting the birthday child with opening their gifts. Margaret is amazing, she makes planning a birthday less stressful the moment she picks up the phone. She asks if you have an idea what you would like and if you are unsure she takes the time to explain the different packages she offers. I highly recommend using Scheme a dream for anyone looking at wanting something different/unique for any entertainment purposes. They always deliver!

Richard Simmons really got Diane’s 50th Birthday Party in motion. He got all the women dancing, laughing and snapping photos. His music was a great motivator and he took on some of the yoga challenges thrown at him. I believe he stayed a little longer than paid but it was all good. Years ago my brother surprised our family and friends by hiring Scheme a dream’s Marilyn Monroe for my parent’s 50th Anniversary. Marilyn was jaw-dropping gorgeous as she entered the party and began singing in her satiny, sultry voice. She eloquently flirted her way through the crowd; melting men’s hearts and making the women jealous with her sassy little comments and sizzling sex appeal. The room’s temperature and hormonal levels further skyrocketed as Marilyn turned my parent’s into teenagers again. Two years ago, Scheme a Dream was busier than ever but on a moment’s notice, my dad and I were able to hire my auntie’s idol, ELVIS. It was Vegas as soon as Elvis entered the room. He bedazzled us with his charismatic personality, and extremely talented guitar playing and voice; not to forget his great memory for the personal details we shared on very short notice that he memorized and charismatically brought out to razz my uncle and Aunty; none stop tears of laughter! It felt like a whole evening with Elvis as he interacted on such a quality level with everyone at the party. You really get your money’s worth and more With Scheme a Dream! Actually, I can not believe how reasonable Scheme a Dream’s services are for such quality class act talent ! I can’t wait to hire them again! This was a last minute thought, COVID put a stop to my planned 30th birthday party celebration for my son. Emailed Alexis at Scheme a Dream on Monday for Wednesday set up, she got back to me that day and said it was no problem. She recommended the skunk Peppe le pue and a sign with Happy Birthday with an additional sign with a honk it’s my birthday . They set up in the middle of the night it was so nicely done and removed in the middle of the night and left a blow up skunk as a gift. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Scheme A Dream and will definitely use their services again. The birthday boy loved the set up!!

My wife has hired Scheme a Dream for 3 different occasions in the last month. We just love the company, the characters, the owner and all the staff- they brighten up every occasion in the most magical way. They have been absolutely wonderful with communication, helping plan the perfect surprise for our family members. Whether they are 3 or 65 years old they always have the perfect option for everyone. During covid they have come to our door dressed as Marshall from Paw Patrol to sing Happy Birthday to our 3 year old, put 65 skunks in my parent’s yard for Stinky Pete’s 65th bday and put a 7 foot inflatable Batman in our friends yard to surprise our friends son.
