Tough course beautiful views nice staff
Great golf. Bring a range finder tho
Great course, well kept fairways and greens. Awesome back 9 views
Held our holiday Christmas party at the golf club . Good venue, good food.
Beautiful course, great staff
Underwhelming
Beautifully maintained course. Wonderful views of the surrounding area.
Never a dull shot at the Okangan Golf Club! Two AWESOME tracks!
One club, two courses. Always a pleasure to play here.
Many holes ⛳️ I like
Two professional grade golf courses The Quail and The Bear. Beautiful location minutes from the airport and Sheraton 4 points Hotel too.
We had lunch and wine there and it was good! The 2 tracks are also fun to play! The setting is cool and peaceful. I had the fish tacos and they were excellent. The patio is huge! The staff is great especially the people in the pro shop. Extremely helpful and accommodating!
We were blown away by everything Okanagan Golf Club had to offer for our wedding! Nicole and her team were absolutely amazing all day. We had our entire wedding planned March 2020 right before the COVID pandemic was announced. Throughout this entire time, our communication with Nicole was top-notch. She was constantly communicating the new changes as BC's reopening plans were updating, and she was able to provide us with a baseline on how 2020 weddings ran to give us an idea of what we might expect for ours. We were extremely lucky to have a venue that could host an outdoor dance floor, and for this reason we were able to host a dance at our reception. The venue has extra decorations that we were welcome to use - from table runners and table cloths in different colours, multiple different flower vase shapes and sizes, different tea light designs, and dessert display platters - we took advantage of it by using their burgundy table runners, the tea lights and flower vases for our center pieces. A nice perk was that our booking includes 2 rounds of golf and carts, and that our wedding party was able to zip around on golf carts to get around and take photos throughout the golf course. Nicole even provided clubs for our guests to take advantage of the driving range during cocktail hour! The ceremony site includes seasonal flowers and drapery, which really takes the pressure off some of the decor planning. They also have benches for rent, which we took advantage of! The buffet and dessert received high praise from all of our guests and we were extremely happy with the options available during the planning stage. While we had a 30-person wedding due to COVID, Nicole's floor planning made the space welcoming and warm. There were so many small details that Nicole provided, and these really made us feel special and taken care of. We would happily book another large event with Nicole and her team at Okanagan Golf Club!
Played the Quail course. Conditions were great! Good track.
Great course conditions. Way too expensive for what they offer.
Clean, close, and carts !! ????
We used the Okanagan Golf Club as the venue for our wedding. Their ceremony spot is absolutely sunning and the Nikolaus room and patio were perfect for our reception. Nicole is a dream to work with. She answered our never ending questions, helped us plan, and was amazing on the day of. She was always ready to help me (the bride) by taking me to the ceremony site, arranging my dress before I walked down the aisle, directing us and our photographer to all the best photo sites on the grounds, and even drove with us and watched for stray golf balls as we took photos. She made the day run so smoothly. All of my guests enjoyed the food and having access to the patio space for the reception. Thank you so much for hosting our special day!
Outstanding courses and even more inticing maintaining it. Greens are big and fast. The rough is playable out of. Friendly staff with exceptional food .
Both courses were in perfect shape when I played them this summer. Can't wait to get back up there to play both the Quail and the Bear again in 2014.
Five star service, five star courses, best food courses I've ever played. Staff is incredibly courteous and knowledgeable, amazing golf pro on staff
Horrible. If you are a novice player, the golf cart attendants will demand you to stop playing golf and go to an easier course somewhere else. We happened to be waiting for the next group in front of every single time and were not holding up any one. The golf course itself is nice.
Beautiful place... did not get a chance to golf, but the landscape is great.
Beautiful course. Had a blast
Must good be. Toured the Quail course. Despite 2 attempts to get on the Bear both were unsuccessful. Busy course.
I played the bear and the course is in good shape. The staff were very accommodating getting a late tee time. The course layout is very nice.
Two nice well maintained courses
Both Bear & Quail courses are in perfect condition.
Amazing layout, superb condition except sand was just spread on greens but mostly we were paired with two s uper nice members... Terry and Ed !
Good food great views and friendly staff
Nice place
Attended the wedding of my nephew there on Feb 29. The facility was perfect for the wedding ceremony and reception. Dance floor was large and allowed many to participate in the festivities of the beautiful affair.
(Translated) Magnificent place in early spring to practice golf (Original) Endroit magnifique en ce début printemps pour pratiquer le golf
Great venue, amazing scenery that is really unique and captures the best of the Okanagan interior landscape
Always a Great time!
Went for a grad event, the venue was very nice and looked great
This is what you want your golf experience to be.
NOT recommended! We just returned from a 5 day golf vacation in Kelowna. We played both courses here and found the pro shop staff extremely rude and non-accommodating. However, all the young staff outside who handle the carts/refreshments/ice were absolutely lovely! As were the 2 gentlemen driving around on the course providing ice water during our rounds. The 2 courses were enjoyable but because of how we were treated in the pro-shop, both days, we will not return here. Nor will we recommend The Okanagan Golf Club to anyone! Two thumbs down BUT 5 stars ???? for all the great staff outside of the pro shop.????
Both Quail and Bear were awesome. Great shape, will play again. Staff killed it as well...tks from the boys @ BKBD 2020
Love this golf course. Great condition, members we played with were very helpful.
Well worth your time a must play if you are in the Kelowna area
Poor bunker mtce
Tough course. Fast greens
Fun course.
Amazing food!
Very nice course. Played twice, weekend midmorning was a bad choice. Marshall didn't enforce rate of play. Came back Monday and thoroughly enjoyed. Great staff too.
Played both Quail and Bear on Friday June 1st. Both courses are in amazing shape and the staff were top notch. The marshal seemed a little agresssive on the Bear (first course we played). He told us three times we were behind a hole yet the group ahead of a twosome that teed off 15 minutes before us and we played the front nine in 1h47min and the back in 2h2min. It didn't take away from the round and I am thankful Marshalls are on the course as slow play drives me bonkers but he was being agresssive for no real reason.
Beautiful space for a wedding ceremony. Reception space is decent. Never golf here, but seems like a very spacious place. Always busy.
(Translated) Loved the challenge, (Original) Adoré le défi,
Good golf good food
Beautiful place, great staff.
Great views and a challenge for most golfers.
Great course. Tough layout.
Great place to golf in the early season. Course was in great shape and the greens read true. Staff where super friendly and took all necessary precaution during these trying times. Will definitely be back!
Always love this place.
Slow play due to tournament? Check. No Marshall speeding things up? Check. Calls to the Pro Shop unanswered? Check. Electric cart running out of battery? Check. Getting blasted by the Bag Shop that we came in after 8 PM? Check.
Really loved it here. Beautiful course, and very friendly Marshalls. We only went to the Bear this time, but we will come back for Quail later for sure. Only minor thing, we didn’t like the parking brakes on the power carts. But not a big deal.
6:30 tee time, played in 3:50. A great resort style course. Snack shack open by the turn. Can’t wait to play the Quail next.
Friendly staff. Beautiful location.
(Translated) Magnificent course worthy of pga quality but the greens are so fast, hard to get used to and there is the mountain effect which adds to the difficulty. Too expensive. My partner and I were snatched $ 280 from us alirs we saw on Tuesdays at $ 69 / each with $ 10 discount at the restaurant.
beautiful course, nice layout
Some of the best golf in the Okanagan. Both courses are always is top condition.
Beautiful courses, well layed out and immaculate greens. The Quail poses a few more challenges and is a slightly more difficult side but enjoyed playing both sides.
Love this place for weddings.. such a beautiful spot
Great venue. Excellent food and service.
My girlfriends and I have got out here a couple times this year. Golf courses are always well taken care of, restaurant is alright!
Great coirses
This was a great course for me and my wife. Narrow but fair. Short but challenging. Solid option in the Okanagan
Great venue for the wedding that we attended. Buffet was good and staff did an excellent job of clearing tables and keeping the venue tidy.
Love both courses. Great range.
This is a very nice course, both bear and quail, played bear yesterday and its in great shape
Great courses and always in good shape. Nice staff.
Second only to Predator
I think this is the only golf course in Kelowna that offers 2 par 72 golf courses for 1 membership.
The bear course is nice and pretty forgiving. Wasn't impressed with the early spring greens as they were airated and fairly sandy but they seemed like they were charging full price.
Beautiful setting and 2 five star golf courses.
Great place
Course is great but the carts were terrible. Our brakes didnt work on one cart and the other had a wheel falling off. I would expect much more than garbage carts for 150 dollars!
Stunning golf course. Well kept and absolutely gorgeous views of the valley.
Excellent
Food is excellent in the clubhouse. Greens were OK but recently punched - we found it expensive compared to other courses we played in Kelowna
Over priced
Courses in great shape! Service is top notch and food is everything you would expect!
Good food,good services
Great course. Was in really good shape for being the beginning of April. Greens were true and quick. I would definitely return
Well maintained course. The club members are very courteous and welcoming
Our daughter just got married here on the weekend. The venue was fantastic! Nicole was our wedding coordinator and she did such a fantastic job of looking after every detail. The reception was held here as well, the room was easy to decorate, they had lots of decorative items like sheer curtains for behind the head table, corkscrew willow branches in vases, and large pillars that we were able to use at no extra cost. The food.....well people are still talking about it! The food and desserts were AMAZING! In fact, the desserts were so amazing, hardly anyone ate the wedding cake! We also had them serve the charcuterie board before dinner, which everyone raved about as well. I can’t say enough about how happy we were with Okanagan Golf Club and the staff here.
Played the quail course on 9/8/2018. and was extremely disappointed in the customer service. We were one of the first groups out and received a golf cart with used Marijuana joints left in the cart, ashes all over the place along with ketchup stains. When we made a complaint, all they said was that shouldn't have happened. Did not receive a new cart or anything. For the amount we paid for 18 holes, this was very disappointing. Then we had members literally running up behind us while we were playing asking if they could pass because they were in a hurry to finish the round. This happened twice in the first 6 holes. As well, we were told beverage cart would start at 9am, but it didn't start until 10:15am. On a positive note, grounds crew had the course in amazing condition, not a single negative say i can say about the condition of the course, except maybe they need more sand in the bunkers.
Okanagan Golf Club continues to offer some of the best golf in the valley. Played The Quail on this trip and the course was in prime condition coming out of Spring. The pace of play was ok, and should expect it to slow down once we get more tourism, but enabled us time to socialize within the group. Offering two courses is a major plus as you can play both in a day with some pre-planning of tee times and days. Book ahead as these courses are popular amongst tourists and locals alike.
Two of the best courses in Kelowna.
A slice of heaven up there! Lush fairways, slick greens, breathtaking views on every tee.
Played the Bear and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was refreshing to be given a discounted green fee since the greens were aerated 2 days prior to our round. It made a couple of those missed putts a little easier to live with. All in all it was a fun round and a great layout.
Beautiful golf course (I golfed the bear) with rolling lush fairways. Each hole (almost) is nestled among the trees, so you get the feeling you are golfing the course alone. The restaurant has a nice casual atmosphere, with good menu selections.
Great place, great condition.
Just finished playing 9 holes the there was lightning they blow the horn to make everyone get off the course and don't offer a refund or partial refund poor customer service..I know other courses in town would offer something will make sure we don't return also person at the counter was not polite when we asked about some type of compensation. Will not return or refer anyone with that policy!!
Great fries! Nice views
The golf on both courses was excellent, however when our two day event ended and we went for our prearranged buffet and a well earned beer, we were told we couldn't be served unless we were seated - please go find a seat of which there were insufficient for our group who had pre arranged it. Went back and were told told "too bad, were doing the best we can do" and confirmed we couldn't even have a beer and stand at the railing while we were waiting. The message could have been much polite but she seemed very frustrated that management had overbooked the facility. Great golf, poor service and attitude.
Really good course. Maybe a tad over priced. But still worth the 94 bucks I paid. Beer cart girl was only seen twice on the 18 holes. Club house not to fancy for what it could be.
(Translated) What you think is The Okanagan Golf Club is actually the Kelowna International Airport. (Original) Ce que vous pensez être The Okanagan Golf Club est en fait l'aéroport international de Kelowna.
Okanagan golf finest club. 36 holes of championship golf located 5 minutes from the Airport and UBCO. The Bear is a much easier to walk and the back 9 holes opens up for newer golfers. The Quail is a perfect example of target golf. Get your 200-230 club ready to go! They are both challenging but offer opportunities to score while some decent course management. I live within a five minute walk of the range. I often use the chipping and putter facilities in the morning when the sun is rising. Truly Magical!
Excellent food and great golf. Have been here for a few functions and the food is outstanding. The golf course is always well maintained. The 9 and breakfast first thing in the morning is a great way to start your day.
Beautiful course, well maintained, dealt with our large group with no issues or complaints.
Great venue and location. We dealt with Nicole to book for a wedding and she was absolutely amazing to work with. She has a ton of contacts for vendors, is quick to reply and always goes above and beyond for exceptional service!! Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of having their special day here.
Awesome golf course that I recommend to all amateur and avid golfers! Very friendly and accommodating staff, course is top notch. Mix of mountain and links styles for both courses with nice sceneries overlooking at the valley. Definitely a good challenge on both courses.
This Venue is lovely. The service is excellent. It has a dance floor that was well used by our Industry event Attendees. Cheers!
Chill place to play golf
Beautiful place nice golf course you should try if you never play here before
The staff at the driving range were awesome. But my experience at the restaurant left a bad taste. The manager is purely out to get your money and staff are not knowledgeable about the menu. I would give it a pass.
Lovely course. Well maintained.
Peaceful and quiet. Nice view
Excellent course for my wife and I. Thanks to Lee in the golf shop for good service. My wife got her first birdie on the 18th sinking a 40' putt ! The outdoor patio is nice to sit after and enjoy some cold ones.
Crappy service
Fantastic staff. Great course.
The course was in perfect condition. .views are spectacular. ..
Two 18 hole golf courses..very different...both challenging, but fair. The Bear course was designed by ???. Yep. Him. Great club house and staff.
Great place to golf! The quail course was wonderful.
Favorite golf courses in the Okanagan
Great course! They have a good bar and patio as well
Played the Bear on a sunny Saturday morning. This Course is definitely not worth $130 plus tax. It is a very nice setting but most "views" are of the airport. Greens had recently been punched and sanded but still charged full price. A range token was supposed to be included with each green fee. We had two foursomes and they gave us two small range tokens between us which gave each player approximately 5 balls. Carts didn't have GPS. (Even Shannon Lake, which we played the next day and was $50 less per person, had GPS in the carts) This is a $90 course at best. We have an Okanagan golf weekend every year but we will not be returning here.
I would choose The Bear course if I only had time for one. Both courses are great though.
Two of the best golf courses in of the Okanagan
Great little course
Top tier facility. Excellent staff and services. Tough courses, fast greens!
Imagine a hot summer day in the Okanagan and you are on a golf course with no water fountains but they do have a beverage cart. Imagine that somehow you need to pee on the golf course. Well, there are bushes.☹️ Imagine the price is close to$100.
Great track of golf in very good condition. Played the Bear but have done the Quail in the past. Overall better value then over priced and over rated Predator Ridge.
The Quail is a great track. Highly recommend.
Great courses (2 of them) and great staff.
Nice course, well groomed and taken care of. Great service saw the cart girl 3 times and snack shack after the 9th.
My friend and i showed up to this course this morning at 7:25 only to be told our 8:10 tee time had been cancelled (Via email) at 07:15 due to frost. We offered to wait and or leave and come back only to be told that was not an option. I have never had a course cancel a tee time less than an hour before the scheduled tee off. Talk about a terrible customer experience. if i could give zero stars i would!
Keep it on the short grass the fescue will eat your ball.
Nice courses. Better hit straight as fairways are tight. Well kept grounds and friendly staff.
Okanagan Golf Club is a very beautiful and unique wedding venue! The staff are extremely accommodating, which is not always the case for golf course venues. There are many incredible backdrops to choose from as well as at least two ceremony sites. Nicole Oaten is absolutely wonderful to work with as the wedding coordinator. She is prompt to respond and it is clear that she is passionate about her couples. We highly recommend Okanagan Golf Club as a wedding venue, and as a golf course! Incredible people, stunning venue, and amazing atmosphere!
Excellent golf course, great membership value, good clubhouse, and awesome service.
Well maintained, my family played 4 times on our vacation and loved it
Best course in the Okanagan!
Super fast service and delicious food ????
Excellent amenities, including 36 spectacular holes of golf
Unreal is all I can say!!
Good golf course and very good covid measures
No shop on site
Great course
These 2 courses "The Quail" and "The Bear" have become quite famous for tourists as they have 2 different styles as well as lots of choices on dining and beverages . As a local we are lucky to have 2 such quality courses to play at the same location. I love it ! Over the years I have observed them continue to improve every year. Tweaking the courses a bit to make them play quicker and adjusting to mother nature as they mature. For others reading both courses are quite different. The Bear a classic Jack Nicklaus course design with wide forgiving fairways, lots of elevation change and large inviting greens. This course is considerably more forgiving than the Quail. The Quail Course yet shorter than the Bear is a bit narrower, more difficult and very undulating with smaller greens. For the advanced golfer shooting a good score on this course is very rewarding. I love them both but when playing well, prefer the Quail. If only have time for 9 the Bear is my fav as 7, 8 & 9 offer good birdie chances which leaves room for a possible good score. Both courses changed their greens a few years ago and have ultra modern grasses designed to work in this climate, a huge cost to do but in the end bring both courses to the top of the ladder. It really shows. The Clubhouse also has improved with time. New furnishings, new patio set up, and menus to suit all budgets. Always something on special if you cant decide what you want and want some help. The staff are seasoned professionals who are eager to please, most of them return each year as its a good place to work. Nice to see familiar faces when being served. This year its nice to see Lee Ranger as the head pro, job well done Lee. Not many locals write reviews about their local courses but I felt it was time I did as I enjoy playing and dining here. Many thanks to Dan Matheson for running such a good club and continuing to improve every year. its noticed !
Beautiful dining rooms and an excellent course to boot. The restaurant is outstanding and the chef is brilliant. Great staff and great food. The views of the courses are great and I hear they’re incredible to play as well. Not a golfer myself but I can speak to the food and the overall vibe.
great place to play golf to great golf courses the Bears fantastic fun to play fairly wide open but still has enough trees to give you shade in the heat of the summer
Straight holes, good views, pushy marshalls
(Translated) I went straight to the stadium at 4:30 this afternoon and booked 5:07 twlight. I drove a car and finished the Bear18 hole. There were 60 pieces in total. Very cost-effective. The stadium is well maintained, the first nine are more beautiful! (Original) 今天下午4:30直接去了球场,订了5:07twlight,一个人开球车,打完Bear18洞,一共60块。性价比极高。球场维护得不错,前九更漂亮!
Beautiful day. Great course, super shape this early in the year.
Beautiful course! Absolutely stunning!
Nice course, good food. Staff are lovely
Nice place for the event I was at. Great food and fun staff
These courses are two of the best in Kelowna. Quail is a real challenge but even as a mid/high handicapper, I had a blast. World class facility and golf. Staff goes the extra mile. Greens in amazing shape.
Great course, unfortunately there were no posts for markers to tell us how far out we were so we had to hunt around for them. Besides that, the staff were very friendly and courteous.
Had a lot of fun! A bit of a challenge compared to what im use to.
Was great. Fast greens cold beer and all under 4 hours. Yeah!
A wonderful place to dine, food is excellent.
2 high end golf courses in a beautiful setting on the Okanagan Valley. Trees with great variety. Less than 5 minutes from Kelowna airport
Good and challenging great day
Always in great shape... Just a little slow some times
Love the Okanagan, how can you go wrong.
Great course tee boxes in great shape. Greens tough but fair. Really enjoyed it. Staff very helpful
