I went through LizMoore weddings to book my destination wedding which took place March 9th. We were assigned to Keeley Dahl. I had 65 guests attend but probably 1/3 booked with Keeley. She initially was quick to respond with our options for booking but that was about it. When we wanted to confirm to send out invitations, it seemed to take forever. She told me for 3 weeks consecutively that confirmation would be coming “next week”. It was not until I voiced that I was being contacted by everyone wanting to book their time off work/allocate funds etc that Liz herself came in and sent me confirmation. She told two of our guests to not bother and just book outside of her. She acted like it was a headache to help them. I was approached by so many of my guests that had expressed how dissatisfied they were with the service they got from Keeley. Various things such as difficulty of contacting, failure to send travel itineraries, poor assistance to book transport, and it goes on. It was upsetting for me as the bride to feel that I had let my guests down. She also misspelled my first name, used my maiden name on travel (which I had informed her had changed on my passport already), misspelled a bridesmaid, and had my bitterly divorced parents on the same travel booking. She blamed all of this on westjet and actually was mad at me for calling them directly to rectify the issue. She assured me it was fixed but my dad had to go through my mom to get his transportation and they were initially seated together - so obviously it was not fixed. Both my father and I had contacted her well in advance asking her to ensure they were separated for the vacation. She also told my mother on the phone that we needed to “stop blaming her for everything” - in a very rude tone. I hate complaining as I have worked many years in the service industry - but I would never talk to my customers like that. I’m very disappointed and will not be recommending this company to others.

Keeley was an amazing agent! She was quick to respond and very detailed in the information she sent us. I highly recommend Keeley and wouldn’t hesitate to refer her to friends. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect destination wedding.

My husband and I are so grateful to Liz Moore for making our dream wedding and vacation come true! From the start, Liz was incredibly friendly and helpful. We started out with a phone conversation - where she asked all the right questions to plan a resort that would fit our needs and budget. She gave me a price list comparison after our conversation along with a description of what each resort had to offer. I had spoken to other destination wedding travel agents prior to shop around and Liz stood out and was by far superior! She never pressured me to book with a particular place and listened to what I wanted and made it happen! Liz suggested Sandos Eco Caracol in Play Del Carmen. We were travelling with kids, love nature and history! It was the perfect resort me and our guests. The resort had so much to offer like water slides that adults could enjoy, great pools, a beautiful beach, great food, a petting zoo and lots of beautiful wildlife like spider monkeys living in the jungle that surrounds you. There were also jungle trails on property that led you to old Mayan Ruins. Our flight was direct which made it easier with kids involved. The resort wedding planner Kiani was outstanding and I can't thank her enough for making my wedding day pure magic! Anytime I had a question, even on weekends and holidays, no matter what time of day, Liz would get back to me with a detailed response! I know her job must take a lot out of her and take away from her personal time after work so I really appreciate what she did for us! I think she probably works 24/7. I know she is dealing with dozens and dozens of brides, but she always made me feel like I was the only one! Liz also managed to make our destination wedding affordable while not compromising quality. Liz is organized, kind, attentive and most of all she listens to what you want out of your stay and wedding and finds something that suits you and your partner. I would highly recommend Liz for your destination wedding :)

She made the travel arrangements easy for each person even though we were all departing from different cities. She made this process so easy for us. Liz Moore Destinations (LMD) was recommended to me for a group wedding booking. Dealing with Liz Moore was pleasant; She was empathetic, caring, heard what you had to say and made herself available when needed. But unfortunately your booking doesn't stay with Liz, it gets transferred to someone else and that was where we had our problem! Over the year after we booked, we had two separate occasions where our flights were cancelled, making our reservation go from direct flights to a 5 hour layover one way and 1.5 hour layover the other. And although these changes were not LMD fault, there was a complete lack of customer service from the assistant Keeley at Liz Moore, whom took over our booking. Our guests had terrible things to say about their experiences trying to get a hold of her, and when they did she was rude and short. Not everyone was computer savy but Keeley preferred to only communicate via email. We complained about the lack of service, availability and support to Liz, however she'd assured everything would be fine. On both occasions where our flights were cancelled, my husband and I were left finding alternative options ourselves because no others were offered to us except for flights with horrendous layovers (which was one of the main stipulations of us booking the trip we did). We felt completely unsupported during this entire fiasco! The last time our flight was cancelled, which was 4 or 5 month before our wedding we had enough dealing with Keeley and threatened to cancel our entire booking. Keeley would tell us things were time sensitive with the airline in emails but then would never be available to discuss things over the phone. As if dealing with our cancelled flights was not stressful enough, the only person responsible for rebooking it and the company you thought would deal with this in a professional manner wasnt available, had a complete lack of customer service and was rude when you did get through. If we didnt have 40 people booked and deposits in for our wedding, we would have cancelled 100%! We demanded to only deal with Liz Moore to complete our reservation and deal with our guests until we finally left. Such a terrible experience, and I can assure you I was not a bridezilla!

100% use Liz Moore Destination Weddings! It’s always sad to see how people only write reviews when they are unhappy. We used Keeley as our Travel Agent for a Group recently and she was a Rock Star! Not only did she find the perfect Resort at the Best pricing, but she also went above and beyond for each and everyone of our Group. Keeley would answer her phone on a Sunday or reply to an email at 6am. She would answer all our silly questions professionally and give us extra advice to make our trip more enjoyable. We did have some issues with the Airline and their restrictions but Keeley took care of it with very little effect to us. We had no idea how much she did behind the scenes for our Group and we are happy we went to the Professionals.

My brother and his fiancé booked their destination wedding with Keeley Dahl at Liz Moore Destination Weddings. I have booked a lot of travel over the years and Keeley was the worst travel agent I've dealt with, to the point that other people that were on the trip who have not travelled much started asking me questions about things like luggage allowance, because they weren't getting answers from her. Our trip took place in March 2019. We paid in full for our travel in October 2018. In January 2019 I emailed her to ask her what our baggage allowance was, and she responded that we would have that information when we got our "...EDocs are issued 28 days prior to travel, they have an entire page with baggage and other tips. Things change so much with Airlines I’d hate to give you the wrong info at this time." I emailed her back that as we've paid for our fare already, we either have baggage included or not, that they can't change what our fare includes after we've paid for it. I did manage to find it on the Air Transat website, but was not impressed that the travel agent tried to tell me it was yet to be determined. She did also email me a screen shot of Air Transat's website after I told her that we should know if we get checked bags or not. Further somehow she managed to get confused with which family one of the infants belonged with and booked him with his grandparents tickets, despite him having the same last name as his parents, and a different last name to his grandparents, AND being booked by his parents, not grandparents. It meant that when the grandparents showed up to check in, they were asked where the infant was, and weren't able to check in until his family got there, and that the parents wouldn't have been able to check in if they got their first. I also have an anaphylactic gluten allergy. Some resorts have gluten free sections, or gluten free options, and others don't. I asked her if the resort we had booked at had GF dining options, as if they didn't then I'd pack food along with me. Her response indicated that she didn't know. She also wasn't willing to ask the resort if they did. (Once we got there I was able to speak to the staff at the resort and they were great about helping me to make sure what I was eating was safe.) I requested a quote on some different rooms from what she had sent out and was told that she couldn't book those rooms, because Air Transat didn't offer them, and then later I got an email from Air Transat advertising a contest where you could win a trip to stay in one of those room types! So I'm pretty sure Air Transat did offer those room types. The last thing I'll write about here is travel insurance. When the packages went out they obviously recommended purchasing travel insurance. I asked for a quote and said that I have a pre-existing condition (food allergy), can she please ask if that would be covered and send the policy for us to review. EVERY other travel agent I've dealt with has been more than happy to do this. She told me to purchase travel insurance through whatever company I normally use. We had just moved back from Canada after living in New Zealand for 8 years, so we didn't have a company that we'd normally use....It basically seemed to me that she saw this was going to require a bit of work on her part, so she couldn't be bothered. I will never book any travel with Liz Moore Destination Weddings again. I would much sooner go to Flight Centre, where I've only had good experiences and always been able to get any question I have answered, if they didn't know the answer off the top of their heads, they would find out the answer. Or just book the travel online myself. Not a single person that I spoke to from our group of 30 was happy with the service from the travel agent.

Liz Moore Destination Weddings was crucial in helping out with our Indian Destination Wedding. Liz's knowledge of Indian weddings was evident from the first time we spoke to her about our wedding plans over a year ago. LIz's immense knowledge of destinations was so comforting as she was able to recommend resorts that could accommodate an Indian wedding with approx 80-100 guests and she also contacted the resorts on our behalf. Ultimately we decided on Iberostar Playa Mita in Puerto Vallarta. Liz was very helpful in obtaining group rates and setting up packages for guests (many of which travelling from different cities in North America). In addition to this, we were very pleased with how fast Liz would address any concerns or questions that we had throughout the way. Our guests also received this level of service from LIz and were very pleased. To sum up, LIz More Destination Wedding made the logistics of our Indian Destination Wedding very easy on us. With Liz taking care of all travel and accommodation for guests, we were able to focus on planning our wedding and not worry about guest travel. At the destination, all guests were pleased with the shuttle services that Liz arranged and were pleased with the Resort.
