This was an awful place to go for wedding dress shopping. When I went in, they asked what I was there for, even though I had made an appointment. She asked what I was looking for in a dress but then just vaguely motioned to what sizes were in what area and did not even offer to help me find anything. After looking for two minutes I decided to leave. The store was old and cluttered and I got such a bad vibe from the place. Do not recommend.

I am not a shopper but this was an important dress in my life and the ladies at Lamour mad it easy! I was down on the coast and in terms of plus size selection this was the place to go. Great atmosphere and no high pressure 'salesmanship'. Thanks much, very happy with my dress!!

Went to help a girlfriend shop for a wedding dress and was so extremely... disappointed is not even the word for it. The store was messy and cluttered and the dresses were dirty and old looking. The "consultant" was dressed very inappropriately, in black boots and black leather pants with a hole in the butt, midriff skin showing and hair that looked like it hadn't been washed in literally months. Very unprofessional! She did not take the time to listen at all to what the bride wanted and just kept throwing dresses at her and then talking about doing all these alterations that she didn't even want (Like chopping the train off the dress for no reason!) Will never go back and certainly would not recommend.

Shopped at this store today with a very excited bride to be, by the time we walked out the door she was in tears. The salespersons lack of disgression and respect was appalling. Her many rude and belittling comments was not acceptable. If you are any size above an 8( which in this store is actually a 6 as the dresses are bought in China) I would not recommend it as size comments are continually made. I was with a party of eight today and not one of us will ever step foot in this store or recommend it to anyone in the future. On a good not she found and purchased her dress at another local bridal shop which was very classy and an awesome experience!!!

Felt like the store was cluttered and disorganized. My daughter was trying to find a grad dress, and the sales lady was not helpful at all. Went to the "other" bridal shop in downtown Kelowna, and received spectacular service from them.

What an amazing selection of gowns at this store. If you are looking for the prefect wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, formal or a prom dress, you need to go see Delia and her staff at L'Amore. These ladies go above and beyond for their guests. Not only do they have a great selection of dresses to choice from, but their dresses go from size 4 to size 26. There is something for everyone. And another great thing about this store is the fact that if you need the dress right away, they will sell you the floor model at a great price. I recently got married this summer and ordered my bridesmaid dresses from L'Amore. My girls looked absolutely stunning!!!! While planning my wedding and doing research, I got all my party rentals (tents, tables, chairs, dance floor, linens, and décor package) from L'Amore and hired Delia to do the decorating. She had everything that I need and also had the best pricing I had seen around Kelowna. And all I can say was everything was PREFECT! Delia (and her crew) spent hours setting up tents, hanging tulle and lighting, arranging tables, etc. When I saw the venue all lit up and decorated my breath was taken away. My vision for my dream wedding came to life. There are not enough words to describe Delia and L'Amore Bridals and Formals. They are the most amazing people in the bridal industry and I HIGHLY recommend them to any bride out there.

I bought my grad gown here! Delia was extraordinarily helpful, telling me which colours and styles suited me best and helping me do up my dresses. She was extremely patient, as I was incredibly indecisive, and never once showed frustration towards me. The environment was calm and comfortable. I recommend L'Amore's to any bride, grad or woman looking for a formal dress.

Had a wonderful experience, went in there just planning on looking and came out with a perfect dress. I was treated like the most important customer. The woman that helped me was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend going here before any other bridal store in kelowna. Prices were also way more affordable then other places. Best time to go is a saturday, as you dont need an appointment.

Found the dress of my dreams here, and the owner Adalia seemed so great at first. I had to buy off the rack as my short engagement didn't allow me time to order. I was assured that the ripped beading and dirt stains would be fixed and cleaned. I signed a $100 deposit slip to hold the dress until my mom could see it. After it was paid for, I went in to pick it up. It hadn't been cleaned or repaired and Adalia said, it wasn't her problem. I reminded her that those weren't the terms of agreement, and she then presented me with the hold slip which was altered with a stamp over my signature that made it look like I had agreed to the conditions. Plus, there were extra conditions added to the slip. Thank goodness I had the original, which I produced, and called her out on her fraud. She agreed to clean it, which it then came back with blue soap stains and worse off than when I first tried it on. I would have gotten my money back if time hadn't been an issue. She nicely gave me $75 towards the professional cleaning, which hardly covered anything. DONT SHOP HERE!!! I heard other horror stories afterwards from other brides and would never reccommend this shop to anyone. If you see a dress you like, get the information on it and buy it somewhere else!! Not sure how she's still in business.

Got there before they opened, called and found out it was by appointment only because of covid. The lady I spoke to on the phone said she was on her way and would be happy to meet me there before her first appointment of the day. It was really great to be able to set up an appointment last minute and still be given all the time I needed to try on dresses.

Insisted that the dress I was going to purchase (because of pushy sales) could be altered by their affiliated alteration company and to go right over there after buying the dress as the sales lady KNEW they were open and left a message to expect me, well the shop was closed. I’ve been to two tailors since who both will charge me well over a hundred dollars for basic alterations and the cut that I needed the dress altered into isn’t even possible because of the delicate material. Thanks for wasting a bunch of my money on a dress I hate, I should mention they made me sign a final sale receipt before leaving the store. Lesson learned!

My daughter and I visited L'amoré looking for a graduation dress this weekend. We had no expectations of finding "the dress" today, thinking that we may have to make an appointment, or may have to visit several stores in our search for the perfect dress. We were promptly welcomed by Delia, who invited us to look at dresses while she was finishing up her appointment with a bride. Before we knew it, and after 2 very fast hours of Delia tirelessly pulling dresses, of all styles colours, shapes and sizes we found "the dresses" both completely different in style in colour than we anticipated buying. "I love your open minds" Delia said, as all three of us had so much fun awing,giggling, and nicknaming the various dresses. Delia sorted "yes's" and "no's" and before we knew it we were sitting in our car, totally surprised our grad dress shopping was complete with 2 perfectly gorgeous dresses for the formal and semi formal grad events. Delia was honest, patient, and committed to ensuring we were happy. Thank you Delia, we would highly recommend L'amoré as a first stop when shopping for formal wear.

Best experience ever. Two very experienced employees, Ricka and Devi, gave me the complete and perfect bridal experience on a very short notice. The staff was kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. This store has an excellent selection of dresses and styles in a variety of colour. They are high quality dresses for very reasonable prices. I went in unsure of my style, but with their guidance and support I was able to find exactly what I wanted. Thank you! Absolutely delightful.

Delia is the wedding Guru, she planned my first wedding over 10 years ago, and I would have been lost without her, she was the best part of my first wedding lol. Fast forward to the present, I finally found real love and when it came time to plan my wedding I went straight to Delia, her and Emily are amazing, I literally didn't have to do a thing, they made our day the most amazing day of our lives, the ceremony was on Delia's property, she had everything running so perfectly, I couldn't have wished for anything else. Delia at the last minute had my dogs walk my bridesmaids down the isle, I never even thought about doing it, and it went amazingly well almost Iike she had trained them to do that job! I highly recommend her and her business, if you have any questions about your wedding, she will have the answers and if she doesn't have the answers she will find them for you.

To preface this, both I (the bride) and my bridesmaids bought dresses here and loved them, but this was despite the poor interactions every step of the way. It began with sales pressure on the wedding dress, being told firmly that it would not still be there if I did not choose to buy it RIGHT now. When we tried on and bought the bridesmaid dresses we were sold dresses which the manufacturer no longer made, so after all of our effort and falling in love with the style we were told 2 weeks later we couldn’t have them. No effort was made to compensate for this mistake asides from an apology, not an extra refund, nor even a promise of speedy delivery on the new dresses purchased as the timing was getting close. Lastly, I was informed by my seamstress (not the one recommended by them) that my dress not a floor model as they had told me, but a used dress. She knew this from the specific additions that were not factory practice and the sheer amount of wear. When I went in to ask about this, whether it was a mistake or an outright lie, I heard a lot of what sounded like reasons (excuses) but had trouble getting a word in to actually tell my story. I was offered a gift certificate with my wedding nearly upon me and all of my shopping over. All in all, though the dresses were beautiful and the prices were right, but I would not recommend any bride shop here.

I just wanted to thank Debbie and Delia for the amazing service they showed in helping me pick out a dress for my wedding. I went in thinking I wanted a simple and light style but Debbie ended up showing me some others that I had thought I would dismiss entirely. One in particular looked gorgeous on me in the end. This store was awesome. If you're looking for a prom dress, this is one of the best stores in Kelowna. The Salon had a HUGE selection, although I did not find anything for me during my visit, I felt the need to recommend the store to others as well. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and the fitting room was beautiful. I was allowed to browse at my leisure, and the owner of the store frequently checked up on me to be sure I was doing alright. Great store, check it out as one of your stops for bridal or prom dress shopping! EDIT: Also, it is my understanding that they provide other bridal services as well, such as planning weddings. That's a plus!

My mom and I went to every bridal shop in Kelowna and this is was winner! In every way! Devi was a gem!!! She is incredibly helpful and friendly. Being plus size, she didn't make me feel like I had less of a selection or I should try elsewhere (like other bridal shops literally made me feel).Their selection of dresses was extensive, biggest in town honestly!! I would highly recommend them for bridal or graduation gowns!!

I cant say enough about the experience of finding my wedding dress. I met Delia the owner and she gave me tixs to the Bridal Expo that she organizes. I was frantic to find the perfect dress and had pics with me. It seemed the other bridal shops in town just wanted to sell me what brands they carry. Would not reccomend going wedding dress shopping here. When we walked in we were questioned why we were there when I had made an appointment. The store is stressful to look through. The change rooms are small. And the consultant didnt even ask what I wanted in a dress.... also they do not have dress clips so in order to see if a dress fits you have to have someone pulling on the dress in order to make it look somewhat right. They allowed someone to walk right through my appointment and use the chnage room so my party was interrupted and could not see me in the dress. Overall I am not happy and ended up leaving feeling defeated I ended up leaving and finding my dress elsewhere

the lady who helped us was incredibly helpful and her compliments really boosted my self esteem and helped me feel comfortable in the grad dresses despite being in desperate need of a shower (for some reason my dad decided to go straight off the plane lol.) Dresses are very gorgeous and certain dresses you can get for up* to 50% off! i have three that i have to decide and im going back tomorrow. Y’all better not touch em. <3 Although I didn’t try any on, their wedding dresses also looked very nice. Definitely worth consideration in your quest to find the one. *friendly reminder that this may not be the case on the day u go/the dress u choose.

Came here today to get a dress for my brothers wedding, only called yesterday and booked an appointment. The buisness was ran by the owner, who was absolutely fananomal at what she does. With all these crazy times my brothers wedding was pushed threw at the last minute and she was more then accommodating and went above and beyond what I had expected for a last minute dress shop. highly recommend!!

Called to ask questions and they literally made time for me the very next night after closing because of my work hours! When I arrived I was greeted warmly and I described what I thought I was looking for, she immediately pulled a dress saying she thought this was perfect! She was right! L'amore has the most absolutely beautiful unique wedding gowns!!! (Where i found my dream gown many years ago) LOCAL BUSINESS that is OWNER OPERATED! You can tell she puts her whole heart and soul into it. The shop has a lovely ambience and exceptional customer service! I recently went grad dress shopping with my daughter and couldn't believe I was shoved through like cattle at a different store. We visited this shop yesterday and even had the appointment booked ahead. We were shopping for my friends wedding dress. The service was horrible at best. The woman there did not even help her find a dress. . She barely gave us the time of day.. she was not even there to help the bride to be in and out of gowns. The dresses there were dirty and ripped. Overall it was an absolutely terrible experience. We visited another bridal shop right after that and we were treated like royalty ! I would never recommend this shop to anyone!
