Despite this being a rough year, I paid over $500 for a box at the Christmas show as it's a tradition I have with my wife, and we wanted to continue to support local businesses like KAS. However, when they cancelled the show, they wouldn't give me a refund and said I should have purchased refund protection insurance that was offered on the phone call when I bought the tickets (it wasn't). These challenging times aren't exclusive to the entertainment industry, and I'm disappointed at the way KAS is treating their supporters.

Watched the matinee of "It's a Wonderful Life". Awesome show, fantastic acting, singing and dancing. It us great to have a venue like this in Kelowna. We will be back!!!

Just saw opening night of Evil Dead, and I haven't laughed this much in a Long time. The staff is Amazing, the cast is AWESOME!!!!!! Go see a show. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES, and even More importantly, SUPOORT THE ARTS

Went a couple weeks ago to see “Elf the musical” with my husband and parents. It exceeded all expectations. The food was amazing, and the show went above and beyond. All the actors stayed in character throughout, even when one of the elves lost their shoe, she just rolled with it and the show went on without missing a beat. The music and acting were incredible. The menu consisted of an amuse bouche, a salad, the main course (turkey or ham with stuffing, mashed potatoes and veggies, or a vegetarian stuffed pepper lasagna), and dessert (served at the intermission part way though, fabulous idea because it allowed us to have room for it!) dessert was a dark chocolate mousse tree with a caramel center. Definitely worth going to check out the different shows here!

Absolutely amazing programs! The day camps and the end productions are simply perfect. I can't recommend this group enough. My daughter loved her time there and the end production.

A Wonderful Life Another exceptionally entertaining musical with a fabulous cast. From youngsters to a mature cast, each ensured the audience enjoyed the show. The set was simple but we'll done. The costumes were wonderful. My favorite dance piece was the Charleston. I sat at a table so enjoyed a lovely slice of vanilla cake and Christmas cookie. One can sip on wine, coffee, tea or other drinks that are available. An absolutely fabulous way to spend an afternoon or evening to be fully entertained.

Went and saw Evil dead the musical tonight. The show was a blast the server was super pleasant and they did an excellent job with the covid rules. I can't wait to go back!

Went with the family to go see Young Frankenstein. This was my first time going to this theatre and it was amazing. Not the most wheelchair friendly if you're sitting anywhere besides general admission. Food was delicious, there was the choice of a vegetarian bowl, chicken or bratwurst as the main dishes. Dairy free options were offered.

Beware! I was suppose to attend a play in March and it was cancelled. I have been trying to get a refund since, with no one calling me back or able to give me one. They now say we have credits but won't honour them anytime soon. They want me to buy tickets...No thanks, not interested in a business that does not give customer service. What a joke! Using the pandemic to rip off there customers.

Saw The Hunchback of Notre Dame and it was spectacular. The performances were amazing. The food was also very nice! All around worth the (seemingly high) price. A great value.

Attended our first KAS production, taking in Spamalot. The show was fine, pretty much what you'd expect from an amateur community theatre, but we made the expensive mistake of purchasing dinner tickets to the production. The price for adding dinner works out to about an extra $35, but the food is a FAR cry from fine dining. I'm hard pressed to think how ANY part of the meal was worth anything remotely close to that. The food was cold, flavorless, and small-portioned, and the dessert was something you'd get in the frozen food aisle in your local Wal-Mart. Save your money - eat before you go. You can get a far better meal at a fraction of the price at numerous nearby quality restaurants.

Next to Normal playing at 2600 Enterprise is awesome. Fabulous. A story line that really makes you think. Beautifully done. Hurry and see this as it’s almost finished ????????

Do not volunteer here!! As a volunteer usher, typical duties are to greet, collect admission tickets, direct and assist the patrons attending performances. At no point, are they expected to do the job of the paid staff like serve meals, clean up dishes, pick up trash etc. But at the Kelowna Actors Studio that is exactly what you are not only expected to do, but informed that in order to receive a thank you, and/or be invited back, that is exactly what you must do!! Discussing their experience with others who have volunteered at the studio, everyone, without exception, agreed with my parents assessment and even had a few more negatives comments to add. In over 20 years volunteering as an usher in dozens of venues around the world, my parents have never come across the lack of respect and appreciation that they recently experienced at this theater, and needless to say will not return.

Always enjoy all their shows! Have gone to The Little Mermaid, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mama Mia (twice) and seen a couple of the kid productions. Always so good!
