Whats the first thing you do when you are planning a wedding or special event? You hire Michelle from Joie & Luxe. From the moment we met Michelle I knew that she was going to be the best wedding planner for us. She was sweet, kind and had such a great personality. As a previous wedding coordinator, I knew that trying to find someone to execute my wedding day exactly how I wanted it would be a task in itself. Michelle not only exceeded my expectations on the day of our wedding, she was there every step of the way, planning and helping us make every decision for our special day. Not only did Michelle plan our wedding she also did all our decor. She knew exactly what we wanted and even made custom dove grey table runners for us so we didn't have to spend an arm and a leg buying them from the states. I am so sad our wedding is over because I loved working so closely with her but I look forward to all the other events she will be planning for us. You will not regret hiring Michelle for our wedding or special event. Michelle, thank you so much, we couldn't have done it without you xo

We hired Michelle for our August 2020 wedding in the Okanagan, while we lived in Calgary. We hired instantly after one phone call we knew that she fit so well with us, almost too well! While we had everything picked out and organized prior to working with Michelle, Covid changed our plans and Michelle went above and beyond to help us re-plan our wedding not once but twice and even helped us get a new venue. We always knew we made the best decision by hiring Michelle, she's become a friend we both love, but on the day of our wedding she really blew us (and all our guests) away with her effortless and seamless work. She was presented with a couple of unexpected issues that she dealt with flawlessly on the spot. She made everything that day flow so well that we didn't even notice half of the work she did behind the scenes! She's amazing at her job and she made our day the most incredible day of our lives, above and beyond anything we could have dreamed of. Thanks Michelle!

Hiring Michelle was the BEST decision we did for our wedding. She is the most amazing person -- compassionate, friendly, and helpful. She was there for us when we were debating canceling our original June 2020 wedding, she provided feedback and alternate solutions, and she even helped us through the hard task of canceling. We decided in June that we wanted to proceed with a small micro wedding in September and Michelle was right there to help us get all the details together. Always there to answer a question and provide a solution. When the event day came, every single guest at our wedding had amazing things to say about her. She decorated the venue perfectly and solved all the problems without needing to loop me in. It was so amazing being confident enough to hand my wedding day over to Michelle, I know I'm a control freak and she was exactly what I needed to take all the stress of my shoulders. Wow, I don't even know where to start! We hired Michelle as our wedding decorator and she was absolutely amazing. She executed our vision to a T. We were in communication for over a year before our wedding and she was always so quick to get back to me with any questions we may of had, any design changes etc. She is so personable, kind and overall such an amazing person to work with. I couldn't of imagined anything better than what her and her team did for us. Even the take down was done so nicely. I highly recommend Michelle and her team whether it be for planning or decorating. Michelle was the most amazing wedding planner I could have ever asked for. She truly went above and beyond to make our day exactly what we dreamed of. The first phone call I had with her, she was instantly on the same page as I and recommended our venue to us. When we visited the winery, we fell in love with the space and knew Michelle had to be our wedding planner. From then on, whenever I reached out to her with a concern, she said "do not worry that is what I am here for" which is exactly what you would want for a wedding planner. She always went above and beyond. When we couldn't find the perfect arch, she went out of her way to have it made for us and when we realized the lighting team installed the lights wrong the night before our wedding, she did everything she could to ensure the situation was dealt with which included bringing her husband in to help hang extra lights. We were so appreciative. These are only a few examples of how great it was to have her part of our wedding planning. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner and team. Highly recommend!

Michelle was amazing! She took care of all the details leading up to the event, helped coordinate with vendors when there were disagreements, handling any bumps that came up on the day of the wedding, and overall made sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the day! When our timeline at the reception was running late she took care of rearranging everything and did it so well that we didn't even notice that dinner had run over an hour late. I would recommend hiring Michelle 100% to any bride who is considering a day-of coordinator, it was one of the best decisions we made!
