I can't say enough about how great Jenny was. We decided on a destination wedding in Osoyoos, but were living in North Carolina at the time. Jenny helped us plan and coordinate everything, and I felt like she really listened to us and understood our vision. She was with us every step of the way making sure that we were on track for the big day. She suggested some great vendors in the area that were perfect. On the day of, Jenny was omnipresent behind the scenes coordinating not just the vendors but our wrangling our family as well. Despite some unforseen weather issues, we and the guests barely noticed the last minute changes thanks to Jenny. Our wedding was beyond beautiful, and there is NO way any of it would have been possible without her. I feel confident that she will go the extra mile to make sure that your day will be just as amazing.
Jenny is an absolute delight to work with – especially for a destination wedding, she was always easy to get in contact with, consistently positive and supportive, and provided amazing insight to make our day unforgettable. She set us up with our perfect dream team of vendors, each of whom brought their own talents to make our big day magical. Jenny’s network of professionals in the Okanagan is impressive, and as we were planning our wedding from another province, there's no way we would have had such an incredible experience without her connections. Jenny and her team were instrumental in sorting out decor, and they set up our ceremony and reception spaces exactly the way we dreamed with our theme and preferences in mind. All of the month-of coordination was left in her extremely capable hands, and our wedding day went off without any problems. She enabled us to make our guests feel welcome, giving a ton of recommendations for sight-seeing and winery tours, which were a hit with our out-of-town guests. Jenny’s services are amazing, and we cannot recommend her enough. She absolutely went above and beyond to help make our day special and perfect.
When planning our wedding, we weren’t sure if a day-of coordinator was necessary. This is a service we were very close to cutting out to save money, but we are extremely thankful we had Julie to assist the day of our wedding. She was very knowledgeable in coordinating our ceremony and would jump right into the craziness to sort out any issues that arose. For example, there was a mixup between the decorator and caterer with the table numbers and seating chart. Julie solved the entire issue without us even being aware until the day after. She also helped with a variety of small items that came up including tracking down bouquets the florist missed delivering, ironing and folding pocket squares and tying the bow on the bridal dress. Her services gave us peace of mind the day of our wedding and allowed us to fully enjoy the day with friends and family.
Jenny McAlpine is an amazing wedding planner. My mom and I were looking for someone to help us know what to do next and to keep us on track. We also wanted someone who could take care of everything on the day of so we could both relax and enjoy the wedding. Jenny did all this and so much more. Whenever we had a question she was always there to help us. She kept us calm and on task. I could not imagine the day of without Jenny and her assistant. When I look back now there were so many things that had to happen that I didn't even worry about, I knew Jenny would handle it. Jenny is fantastic at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone!!

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the support that Jenny provided both leading up to and on our special day. From day one Jenny stressed the importance of us enjoying our wedding day "stress free" and she allowed us to do just that! From finding us the perfect vendors (referred to as the dream team in the Okanagan) to responding quickly to my many emails and accommodating the changes to details I requested along the way. She had a calm and professional presence on the wedding day and went way above what we expected her to help us out with - coordinating directly with all of the vendors, very thoughtfully setting up the decor to best suite the banquet space, scooping up a very sweet and nervous flower girl to bring her the rest of the way down the aisle, pinning my wedding dress and kindly escorting a wedding crasher out. When I walked into the banquet space minutes before the wedding it almost brought me to tears. It was absolutely perfect. Jenny took care of every single detail and pulled things together in a way I would never have been able to on my own. On top of all of this, she took care of the take down of the space, returning everything to the appropriate vendors. I would highly recommend working with Jenny to anyone. We hired Jenny for the full wedding planning package as we live out of town and were traveling to Kelowna for our wedding. Jenny and her team were AMAZING to work with. We asked for "Day of" coordination, which for Jenny means that she takes over 6 weeks before your wedding. She took care of all the vendors, logistics, and handled any issues that arose seamlessly in a way where my husband and I had no idea anything even went off schedule. Jenny was always organized, helpful in bringing our image to life, quick to reply to questions, and really lovely to work with. I felt relatively organized ahead of our wedding, and I wasn’t really sure what a day-of planner was going to add, but really smart people told me to hire one and we are so glad we did and SO glad we hired Jenny ! She kept the day running smoothly, even though we had 2 ceremony location changes (into the tent then back outside when it cleared up), small miscommunications with the caterer, and the inevitable delays. She was essential for our rehearsal, because turns out its more than just walking in a straight line. I’m sure she put out a million tiny fires without us even knowing about them, and when she did have to ask us about something, it was a quick interruption and she handled the rest, which left us with more time celebrating with our friends and family. We could not be happier with how our day turned out, and Jenny was instrumental in that. Thank you Jenny!
