We rented a bouncy castle for our Summer End Party at Little Owl Academy in Lake Country. Brittany was organized, efficient, and has wonderful customer service. The bouncy castle was a huge hit and Scott was incredible with the children and helped to keep them safe! Set up and take down was seamless and we are so glad that we decided to rent from Glitz n' Glam! Highly recommend!

Brittaney is amazing! She and her team decorated and took down the decor for my wedding. I rented draping from her and she installed it perfect! She didn’t have the colour of draping I wanted, but that didn’t stop her and she ordered it so I could have it! My wedding was perfect because of her work! She has a lot to choose for decor/party supply rentals and her ability to decorate is spectacular! She cleaned up after our wedding and had everything organized ready for easy pick up in the morning! She is also very easy to work with, friendly, and will make sure you have everything you need for your event! She WILL NOT let you down if you communicate with her! I highly recommend Glitz n Glam!!!

I went to Glitz and Glam to rent decorations for my wedding ceremony and reception and I could not be more grateful for their amazing team! Brittaney was wonderful and is amazing at what she does! I have almost no eye for decorations, so she lead me through the process, worked within my budget, and helped put together amazing decorations for my wedding and she was going to use flowers that I had ordered in bulk from Costco to put together the center pieces. When the flowers we ordered never came, Brittaney was the first person I called. She gave me information on florists I could contact and places I could go to buy new ones. When we showed up with bunches of random flowers, she put it all together to make something absolutely stunning! Everyone was blown away by the decorations and we actively had to tell people that they could not take the centerpieces home. It would not have come together without her and her team and we are so thankful for them. You guys are amazing!!!

I was recommended to use this rental service and that was such a mistake! Please save yourself the hassle of dealing with this person!! I had to cancel my wedding of 100 people in the fall because the government of BC says no gatherings over 50 until a vaccine is found for the GLOBAL PANDEMIC virus we are dealing with. I gave over 4 MONTHS of notice that we had to cancel our rental because of these new rules by the BC government. Glitz and Glam, didn't reply for a month then REFUSES to give our deposit back because a global pandemic wasn't a good enough reason. She did offer that we could use the rental credit over the next two years (or find someone else to use the credit (so do her job for her)), but when am I going to use several hundred dollars worth of rentals? I would understand if she put a lot of work into this upfront, but literally all she had to do was take our information and take a 50% deposit, there is no real loss of time or products for her, this is just GREEDY behaviour. I have dealt with so many other venders that have been SO understanding and given our deposit back. This company said that because I am upset about not getting my money back that I want to destroy small businesses, which is not the case, there is so much government help during this global pandemic that she could use but is instead hurting her customers.

Would not suggest this vendor! I am leaving a review for my wedding experience a couple of years ago. Glitz and Glam was the only vendor that I did not have a great experience with. I understand that wedding season is extremely busy for a lot of vendors, but I felt our communication and meetings were slightly chaotic, disorganized, and Brittaney was not able to give me her undivided attention. She clearly did not take the time to review the written communication I provided her with, which likely contributed to the misunderstandings that took place on my wedding day. I had rented draping, as well as set up and take down services from Glitz and Glam. I was disappointed to receive an email from Avalon a couple days after the wedding that expressed chairs were left scattered around the room when they arrived at the end of the night for pick up, and I was being charged an additional rate by their company due to this. I communicated with Brittaney my confusion on why chairs were not cleaned up and stacked as part of the ‘midnight take down’ fee I paid. She expressed that she was unaware Avalon was dropping off chairs altogether until arriving at the venue. I know chairs were discussed when we met in person, as I had been unaware Glitz and Glam rents the same chairs for slightly cheaper (but I had already paid my deposit to Avalon). I also looked back into previous email communication and saw that an email I sent her with my list of what we required for take down stated “The remaining glassware, chairs, etc will need to be packaged for pick up by Avalon Rental.” She informed me that there was usually a separate service fee for furniture set up and take down. Had I been properly made aware that the furniture was not included in my take down fee, I would have made the arrangements for the chairs to be taken down and stacked.

Takes forever to get back to you. My friend used some decor for her wedding. Items were missing and other items were dirty. I emailed for my wedding, took two weeks for her to respond, I didn't wait, went else were.

I have been trying to reach Brittaney to book her for our wedding since October. After trying to be in contact through various means, I finally received a response. I then tried to arrange a time to meet, but this proved to be a difficult task as calls and emails were still not responded to. Finally we put it off for the new year, and I am still having the same troubles! We had "arranged" to meet this weekend, but it has been over a week now and she still has not responded to me wanting to confirm a time with her. If this is any indication of what to expect on your wedding day, you may want to seek out someone who values their customer and is more present and reliable.

We contacted Brittaney almost 2 years before our wedding, and from the beginning she was excited and lovely to work with. She took our ideas, added some of her experience and knowledge, and helped make our wedding amazing. We planned most of our wedding from out of town, and she made it so easy and stress free! When we finally made it down to her shop with our homemade centre pieces to do a mock up, we realized that our vision did not translate (and looked awful) She maintained a positive outlook, and helped us by creating a look far more beautiful than we had imagined. I can not say enough amazing things about Brittaney with Glitz and Glam! Not only did she help create the perfect decor for my wedding day, she helped with so many other things along the way! Brittaney has so much experience in this industry, she was able to recommend several other amazing vendors. My wedding was beautiful, more than I had actually even thought it could be. The draping and chandelier really brought the whole room together, and gave the space that romantic, elegant atmosphere you want on your wedding day. The tables her, and the team put together were exactly what I wanted. Brittaney even ordered special linens to really personalize our decor.
