Jordan was great DJ for our wedding. He met with us months prior to the event to go over the details which gave us confidence on his abilities. His website was really helpful and easy to use. The music for the whole event was perfect, the dance floor was packed all night! Jordan even helped our grandmother's light the candle during the ceremony! Highly recommend DJ Spinalshift

Jordan was not only an extremely professional and entertaining DJ, he gave us peace of mind for music throughout the entire day. All specific selections (some rare and hard to find live songs) were played flawlessly, including special attention to start and stop times. We gave him general themes for the reception and all of his music selections were perfect. We had multiple people compliment the reception music and how it set such a great tone for everyone. We even turned to each other at one point and said "Can you believe how good the music is!?" We had a fairly brief time window for the dance floor, and he maximized this for everyone by communicating with all guests any important songs, moments, and milestones, in a fun and professional manner. The dance floor was packed all night long! Jordan was prepared, organized, has a great online planning tool, and took the time to have a very helpful call prior to the wedding. On the day of he even jumped in to help lift a flower arbour for us, talk about going above and beyond! Jordan was a pleasure to have at our wedding and we would give our highest recommendations for him to anyone. Thanks so much!

From start to finish, Jordan was detail oriented, organized & very professional. His website and planning tools are an excellent resource and made the coordination process extremely easy. The timeline formatting option was very easy to use, and carries over nicely as well, as we ended up using his templates for all of the wedding timing, including with other vendors. On a personal level he was extremely flexible and a very calming presence. Our wedding was disrupted last minute by covid restrictions, but Jordan sought out every creative way possible to ensure we still had the event (and dance) that we always wanted, which included a modification to the dance location. We trusted his judgment fully when it came to the dance music selections, and we had zero regrets as he kept the party going all night. We thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone of all ages take part in dancing, even our parents who are not frequent dancers. One of our favourite moments of our whole wedding was looking up during a particular slow dance and witnessing both sets of our parents dancing along too. There was an excellent atmosphere for the younger crowd as the night went on as well. He was also very receptive to requests that were appropriate to the overall vibe and theme. We would absolutely recommend Jordan for your event, and couldn't thank him enough for contributing so positively to our special day.

Absolutely the best wedding DJ in the Okanagan. I can not express enough how much care and effort Jordan puts into his weddings. Not only does he care a ton about the couple, their guests and the music they themselves want to listen to, he is also completely aware of all the other vendors associated with the wedding and works tirelessly to make sure the dance is incredible as making sure the photographers and the videographers have all the shots and footage they need. If you want an amazing dance, and you want your film and photography to reflect that. I would recommend Jordan a thousand times over.

The online portal/website was easy to use and communicate through. The dance floor stayed packed until the end of the night. Also seems like a great guy. For example, when he overheard my wife say she hadn't eaten all day after the ceremony he personally tracked down the servers and brought hors d'oeuvres to her!

As well, gave us ideas for songs during moments we never even thought of ie. signing the certificate etc. The reception was one giant party and the dance floor was packed the entire night thanks to Jordan!

In advance of our wedding, he shared unfavourable feedback he heard of our venue, in hope to ensure our experience was the best possible - very thoughtful! He is very well prepared, has an impressive set-up with all his own equipment. He even has a lapel mic, which was very helpful for the Priest to use during the wedding ceremony. Jordan did a fabulous job of our reception music. He was very accommodating of our requests including playing "Be Our Guest" when the main course was served. He was friendly and approachable for our guests if they wanted to request songs. We had asked him a couple of days before the wedding to change the mother son dance song and unfortunately that did not happen, but to be completely fair, the song my husband wanted was not something you could find on iTunes or anywhere for purchase, it was a song my MIL found on you tube. Everything else went great though. Even when a guest requested an artist from our do not play list, he came and asked us if it was ok to play that song or if we were adamant that they not be played then he would tell our guests sorry but no. By the end of the night everyone was exhausted from dancing which is exactly what we wanted from DJ Spinalshift. Thank you for an amazing service and we will recommend Jordan to anyone needing a DJ.

Jordan was the DJ at my son's wedding Sept 25. When it was announced our son was having a dance we knew the DJ was going to make or break the success of the wedding. Being out of the DJ scene for quite some years we were not knowledgeable enough to select one on our own. A good friend recommended Jordan and did he ever come through. Jordan read the crowd extremely well with music selection's that had the dance floor filled all night long. Jordan was a delight to work with. Professional, easy going with sophisticated equipment that totally met our needs. He provided wireless mike's for the wedding ceremony as well.
