Kalani was such an amazing DJ (and dancer too!!!) The day after our wedding, our guests all told us how much they loved him as well. Outside of being our DJ though, Kalani really went the extra mile to make sure the rest of our wedding went smoothly too. From helping the MCs with games to tips on how to keep the groomsmen cool in the Kelowna heat, he was so much more than just a DJ. My husband and I could not be happier to have him with us our on our wedding day!

Dear Kalani, We can't thank you enough! The show you put on for our wedding was exactly what we wanted when we didn't know what it was we were looking for. You were such a help when it came to the planning that the music was the one aspect of our wedding that we weren't worried about during the frantic weeks and days before the wedding. Your attitude and honesty made it a fun and non-stressful experience to set all this up and your suggestions were right on cue. The fact that you managed to impress all members of all ages of our families (a daunting task) but kept the night moving at the same time so that there really was never a dull moment, shows how perfect your ideas were. The overwhelming and positive responses we had from our guests, many who would never admit to wanting to limbo, let alone dance, really impressed us and that was exactly what we had hoped for! You knew just what the guests wanted to hear at the right time and the extra's which we had never even considered before you mentioned them, were the right fit. The songs you picked to fill out of the gaps we left flowed seamlessly and made the night more special for the both of us as many of them were favourite songs we'd forgot to mention; your intuition is uncanny! We'll have to ensure that you're available the next time we have a celebration as we wouldn't trust anyone else which such an integral part of a successful event. Again, we can't thank you enough for all the time and effort you put into our wedding. We know that you will succeed in your field as your performance proves your level of professionalism, as well as your integrity. DJ Krucial K was the best!! He did such a good job at setting the tone for our wedding. I asked him to play some specific songs but also use his discretion based on his read of the guests/vibe of our wedding and he did a perfect job of that. Our wedding was a few weeks ago and we still have guests telling us how much they loved our DJ and the music. DJ Krucial K also helped us along the way with making announcements for our guests to ensure everything was running smoothly. Leading up to the wedding, DJ Krucial K had a "questionnaire" for us to fill out beforehand which was super organized for us to write in all of the songs we wanted for different parts of our day. Francine took care of the communication aspect of things leading up to the wedding, so all of our little questions were answered, and last minute changes to our song requests accommodated (thank you!) The suggested wedding timeline that Francine provided beforehand was really helpful, and so was being able to talk through some questions I had about timing of things with Kalani. Having the wedding planning process behind me, prompt communication was something that really set some of the vendors apart for us and made for a smooth and pleasant planning process. Kalani was awesome both leading up to the wedding and at the wedding. He took time to meet us and get to know us beforehand and chat with us at the wedding. He is a super good guy. We had so much fun at our wedding, and a big part of that was because of the fun tone he set for everyone. We are so happy we had DJ Krucial K as part of our special day!

This DJ was at a wedding that I emcee'd in the summer of 2019. I found him to be very professional, helpful, and down to earth. He was open to playing a variety of music, did a great job with sound checks, ensured that it didn't get too loud during the ceremony, all while keeping the dance floor going until close. Wow!!! DJ Krucial K made our wedding!! People are still talking about how fun the night was months after. He had the dance floor packed from the first song until the very last. Not once did we have that awkward empty dance floor situation. He was so engaging, fun and really cared about us as a couple. He wanted to ensure we were beyond happy and so were our guests. Despite having to provide audio in 3 separate locations from ceremony, cocktail and reception (Which all occurred back to back) he didn’t miss a beat. Everything was perfect. Kalani was the DJ for our wedding (Ceremony at Summerhill Pyramid Winery and reception at the Laurel Packing House) and he did a phenomenal job! All age groups were dancing the whole time, he was very personable and professional with the guest and us. People afterwords were commenting on how well he did at incorporating song suggestions in a timely manor. It couldn't have been any better. I highly recommend him!

Amazing DJ. We had 50 people with significant variety in age and culture. He managed to get every single person on the dancefloor. When we were planning our wedding, friends told us that we don't need a DJ and "you can just use your Spotify account." I'm glad I didn't listen to them and that we got Kalani onboard. We were blown away by our experience with Team DJ Krucial K, who was recommended to us by our family members!! Our 30-person wedding was in July 2021 at Okanagan Golf Club in Kelowna. Francine's turn around time for her communications is top notch. She will respond any time of day, and was very helpful answering all the questions we had, no matter how simple or odd. They also assisted us with our wedding day timeline by providing sample timelines, and provided us with a list of DJ's top hits when we had trouble deciding on what songs to use throughout the evening. We were so pleased to hear DJ Kalani was able to play a custom mp3 for the bride's processional, and this ask made our ceremony all the more special. DJ Krucial K is more than a DJ! He will step in and assist with whatever needs to be done during the day. In our instance, the wind was so strong during our ceremony at one point, it blew the drapery curtain off the hooks on the arbour. While we were signing our papers, Kalani came down to put the drapery back up because he knew how important it would be to have that backdrop available for our wedding photos and our walk down the aisle as husband and wife. It's these little details that really make Kalani stand out. We were very fortunate to have a venue that could host an outdoor dance floor and while we had a small guest list, you never would have known with the amount of people on the dance floor - all thanks to Kalani! The songs Kalani chose matched our guests' energy and each song he picked kept people out on the dance floor. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to throw an amazing party!
