Helped us put together a backyard wedding reception for 30 people with only 3 weeks notice due to our original venue pulling out last minute. They dealt with many phone calls and emails from the bride, her mother and her MIL, all while keeping a cool and professional attitude. Their set-up team came on time to set-up and came early the next day to take down the tent, tables, chairs, etc. making that part of the day stress-free. Our event company in Vancouver was desperately looking for an Executive Washroom Trailer for a Celebration of Life on Bowen Island. We called every company in the lower mainland and were either told they wouldn't deliver to Bowen or that they were sold out. When we found that Avalon had a unit available, we braced ourselves to be mocked yet again for asking for a Bowen delivery on such short notice. To the contrary, Shawn listened to what our logistic needs were and looked for a way to make it work. The quote was timely and fair. He and his team delivered and installed the unit on time and professionally - even with some highways closed down because of the wild fires. The unit was clean, in perfect working order, and exactly the quality level we needed for our guests. I highly recommend the Avalon team for your Kelowna and Vernon event rental needs.

We order a few festival chairs from Avalon and were told we could cancel the order within 3 days of the event. I cancelled the order 2 and a half weeks before the event and didn't expect to get the full amount back but did expect somewhat of a refund but since we paid for it in full, they would not refund us.

Rented a grill here over the weekend. Not only did it work exactly as expected, they even provided a lighter. ( and, lent me straps). The gentlemen that loaded it was the nicest guy on the planet. Drop off this am, I came an hour early ( my fault). However, same guy saw us and let me in to drop it off anyway. Above and beyond, from start to finish. Thank you Avalon.

Had the idea to check into renting plates and wine glasses for a small house party and it turned out super fantastic. I spent the same on rentals as I would have on disposable goods and you simply cannot beat the waste reduction not to mention the ease of clean-up in doing so. Truly the most helpful team. Kayla was so enthusiastic and answered all of my questions thoroughly, very early on in our wedding planning. Karly was incredibly patient and went above and beyond to help me figure out the right sized tablecloths for our backyard wedding.m. Delivery was quick and easy, as was pickup. When we ran into an issue, Karly was on it right away to make sure it was rectified well before our wedding, and Kayla followed up quickly with prompt service afterward. Overall it was a seamless experience and it just reinforces why they’ve got such a great reputation in the area.

I should have posted this about a year ago, but I kept forgetting. Avalon is fantastic! This place saved my wedding. We were having an outdoor wedding during what was supposed to be a dry time, but a few days before the wedding, nothing but rain in the forecast. So we call up Avalon and tell them the yard is half garden and it's shaped really weird and they said they could send someone up the next morning. So I'm waiting for this guy to show thinking it's going to be some guy who's going to try and up-sell me on what I need. It's not. It's the owner of Avalon himself. He gives me a whole bunch of options, explains things to me regarding safety and the flow of people during events and places to keep clear. Then we wander the property and he offers suggestions about other things that had nothing to do with the tents we needed. He did these things because he was excited for me and wanted my wedding to go off without a hitch. So he takes some measurements and we talk options. The next day he has the several tents, weights, and heaters we need. We set it up, and everything turned out beautifully. The thing that really sticks with me is that Avalon actually understood my urgency and acted on it to make sure I was looked after. I was a first time customer and they went above and beyond. Great service. Friendly, helpful, dedicated people. I highly recommend Avalon.
