I was planning a wedding in Canada while living abroad, so I was very nervous about getting everything done, which is why I decided to hire Jan. It was the best decision I made! She made the process so easy! Jan found me everything I wanted as well as offered her advice when I wasn't sure how to move forward. I was also able to contact her any time I had a question and she would respond promptly. She was very supportive during the entire process. On the day of the wedding she worked so hard to make sure my vision came true! Jan is a wonderful person with amazing ideas! I would highly recommend hiring Willow Rose Events!

While, overall, there was a lot that I enjoyed about planning my wedding the most overwhelming part was just thinking about figuring out the logistics of the actual day. The closer we got to the date, the more I knew I definitely needed some help - literally the moment I met Jan I felt so much calmer. I can't thank her enough for being there for us. When it came to dealing with our vendors and setting up, I really had no worries on my wedding day that everything was going to be perfect... and everything exceeded my expectations! She was so helpful and super responsive! We couldn't have done it without her!

There are not enough nice and amazing things to say about Jan! Just from her website, she seemed like a fun and friendly person and I was so glad that when we met her we were not disappointed. Jan reminds me of myself...quiet at first but once you get to know her it's like you've known her forever. I'm so so thankful she was there to help with that last month of planning, especially since I decided to teach summer school until 2 days before my wedding! Jan made me and my husband feel so at ease and confident that our day would flow smoothly. She was so patient with my tons of emails and super organized, which I love. Jan really goes above and beyond to make sure your day is as stress free as possible. I had lots of little things to set up and she picked them up from my house and took care of everything. Jan helped us plan our wedding from start to finish and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. My partner and I were both living away from where the wedding was taking place, and with both of us being people who don’t like planning things, it helped immensely to have Jan on board. We were very happy with the vendors she recommended - the venue, flowers, cake, makeup/hair, and DJ were exceptional and spoke to Jan’s experience and connections. She tried to tailor the wedding to our wants and needs without being overbearing. Jan was also especially helpful on the wedding day by taking care of logistics and details in the background, often without us even knowing. She made the day very smooth and stress free. We were referred to Jan from a friend who also had her as a day of coordinator. Jan's scope of work and communication prior to hiring her was clear and concise. She also has a calming personality which keeps our stress levels lower. That in itself was confidence inspiring that she was organized and qualified to fit the job, which she did very well. Beyond a couple face-to-face meets, Jan helped us along with collecting vendor information and the general flow of the day of, including the ceremony, decor setup, speeches, and teardown. Jan arrived prior to the ceremony and was helpful in ensuring our vendors and decor was set up per our instructions. We barely had to provide input on the day of, which is incredibly helpful as there is so much going on. We couldn't ask for a better planner. Everything worked smoothly We would recommend her to anyone looking for a boost in help.
