A beautiful building with some lovely little gems of rooms. Available for private functions it has a grooms room on the lower level, some tastefully decorated common rooms and It even has a unisex washroom off of what used to be the main sanctuary. An event place for you

We provided live music for their pop up wedding on June 28, 2019. The attention to details for that wedding was phenomenal! The venue is gorgeous, the food and drinks were delicious, and the acoustics inside made the music sound so much more special. We also used this venue for our music video and we were thrilled with all the options this beautiful church provided... windows, architecture, furniture, etc. We can't wait to be back as their live music; and to share the video that we made there as well! Amazing Experience! 100% recommend!

My husband and I had planned our wedding for a year before our venue cancelled due to COVID. We decided that we still wanted to get married and with only 3 weeks before the date we reached out to the wonderful people at the Cathedral. We were lucky that they had our date available and within a day everything was booked and finalized. Liz and Susan were kind and accommodating through everything. They even set up both inside and outside despite the weather forecast looking like our outside ceremony dreams would be rained out. The rain stopped a few minutes before the scheduled ceremony time and they quickly got the outside completely ready. Our original plan might not have worked out but our day at the Cathedral is one that we won’t soon forget. We cannot thank them enough for all of their kindness and support through a difficult journey to the alter. Everything was stunning and we are so happy that we found the Millbrook Cathedral!

Millbrook Cathedral offers a spectacular and versatile venue. This late 19th century church has been beautifully converted to feature a vaulted oak beamed ceiling and dark wood floors in the classic ballroom, modern elegance in the romantic lower lounge, sprawling exterior grounds that are perfect for an outdoor ceremony, a game of croquet - or both, and a natural woodland garden with babbling brook. This is the perfect venue for a perfect beginning.

We recently rented the Millbrook Cathedral for a four-week theatrical event. Susan and her team were simply amazing to work with. From our first meeting, Susan was clear and communicative on what they could and could not offer. The bar never moved on that front which meant we knew exactly what we were getting. Susan got back to all our questions so quickly. The space itself is simply stunning and our audiences were thrilled to be in the stunning space. Our artists also loved working at the Cathedral, it is a comfortable space with a rich history. Thanks to Susan and her whole team for a beautiful space for our Christmas show to have a home. Beautiful space, unfortunately the owners don’t like to pay their contractors. We extensively renovated the church washrooms and when it was time to pay Itay decided he did not have to pay for our services. People should know that they are supporting a greedy sneaky underhanded organization when they book weddings here. All in all we were only burnt for about $1000 but it’s the principle. Itay is a successful realtor and feels that he can walk over a small business owner in the name of profit. We are a small local construction company employing local people and $1000 is the difference of people getting paid on Friday or not. My guys got paid but unfortunately for me I made nothing for my time. I would hope people would sooner support a different venue rather than contribute to one mans greed.

This painstakingly restored church has it all!! The park like grounds are surrounded by a babbling brook and hidden behind a private hedge. When you first enter the building you're taken aback as to its sheer size as you walk beneath the massive towers. But it's not just about square footage. The detail to attention quickly becomes apparent. The sanctuary's cathedral ceilings humble anyone who walks into its warm embrace. The acoustics are out of this world and the stage begs to give you the show you have been waiting for. There are updated bathrooms throughout. The basement offers a modern yet elegant twist. There are custom white concrete countertops through the kitchen, a beautiful bar, and sprawling stone travertine floors. Encounter a natural stone fireplace like you have never seen before, decide to sit down next to it, and let the time just flow. It doesn't matter where you are anymore because you are convinced you never want to leave.

Millbrook is everyone’s dream as a venue. It’s a gorgeous little venue in Millbrook. You will absolutely fall in love like I did. Every time we go it’s truly an amazing experience. Susan the owner and all the vendors like myself are amazing to work with. Susan is beautiful from the inside out. Liz their coordinator is such a pleasure to work with and she’s also amazing. Susan and Liz truly listen to what you are looking for and very accommodating. You will love them.

Beautiful venue! I attended a wedding here and I was very impressed by the entire experience. This cathedral retains its old charm yet with elegant modern touches throughout. The upstairs sanctuary has been converted to a beautiful banquet hall with lots of natural light, while the basement consists of a huge newly-renovated open concept kitchen that opens up to the lower-level banquet hall. Both levels have stages! The outdoor grounds behind the cathedral is spacious and charming - I love the babbling brook flowing across the property. The owners are extremely accommodating and pleasant. Only 15-20 minutes drive to Peterborough. Perfect for weddings, banquets and even performance art.
