We had seen Rob officiate a number of our friends weddings, and knew that he was the officiant for us. Luckily we booked him very early, as we didn’t even look into other officiant options! From the beginning he was very easy to talk to about what we were looking for. He always got back to me in a very timely manner when I had any questions. We were able to build the ceremony we wanted through a live google document. We spoke over the phone to go over everything and he was happy to let us edit the ceremony notes in any way we chose. On the day of our wedding he was friendly, brought some humour to the day, and was nothing short of the perfect officiant! After our wedding he followed up a few days later and was extremely complimentary of our venue and wedding as a whole, which meant so much to me. He explained how to go about changing my name, and receiving a copy of our marriage certificate. He even followed up weeks later when there was a delay from Service Ontario. Can’t recommend him enough! Thank you for being a part of our day, Rob. It was perfect!

Working with Rob was a total delight! My husband and I had been trying to be married since August, but due to border closures and the pandemic, we had to cancel our original wedding plans. Rob was completely understanding and helped my husband and I feel better about having to cancel our wedding—which you can image, was a TERRIBLE thing to have to do—and was more than willing to help us again come December when we were able to be covid compliant. The process going up to the wedding day was made more easy thanks to Rob. Rob hosted a beautiful ceremony for us on the first of January that we decided to stream over zoom to our family and friends; during the ceremony he handles himself with the confidence of a professional while maintaining the warmth of a friend. The ceremony itself was short and sweet and left all of our guests impressed by his words, multiple saying it was the nicest ceremony they've been witness to. Overall the process was smooth and went without any hiccups. If my husband and I could have had a larger wedding without needing to worry about the pandemic, I still would've liked Rob to be our officiant. If you're reading this while looking for an officiant to hire; I wish you all the best luck in your future marriage endeavors, and I happily recommend working with Kawartha Ceremonies.

On Saturday May 27, 2017, Rob performed the most beautiful ceremony we could have ever asked for! The blending of the sand ceremony was beautiful and a was the talk of wedding dinner the entire time by so many people! He even brought back up just in case we couldn't get the sand into the tiny hole in the top, but we made it work!???? Rob made it so comfortable for us, as it was a nervous day for us. Most importantly, he did an awesome job calming down my now husband Garry before the ceremony with breathing exercises. Garry was a nervous wreck and on his way to passing out, until Rob came and helped him through. I don't know of many officiants that throw that service in for free with the ceremony, lol ????.
