Planning any event comes with a lot of anxiety and stress before and leading up to the day of. I contacted Sue and Roger at Hawley Crescent and provided them with some ideas of what I wanted to serve the guests at my Travel Trade Show, "Taste of the Caribbean". That was all the information they needed, as the end result met and exceeded my expectations! The event was a success and the meal which was prepared definitely accomplished the goal I envisioned for my guests. Sue, Roger, Scott and their entire team made our wedding dreams come true. They personalised every aspect of our menu and coordinated everything with us while we were overseas. They were accommodating, professional and emotionally invested in the success of our big day. From the menu, cocktails, furniture, decor, flowers and every little detail, Sue was on it. She helped us out together a beautiful event and proactively did things we hadn't even thought of. They really made us feel loved and the food was absolutely sensational. Their staff were professional, fun and personable. One of the servers fixed my hair and brought me specific drinks and snacks during our photo session. There was a level of attention that sets Hawley Crescent apart from their competitors. Any caterer can provide you with food, but nobody will give you the personal touch that Sue and Roger bring to the table.

Sue and Roger are the cream of the crop when it comes to catering professionals! We worked with them on our wedding this summer and were amazed by their service. The Hawley crescent team delivered amazing food and service but were also an invaluable asset when it came to the wedding day of schedule, rentals coordination, signage and table scape. I can’t express how patient and kind they were with us over several years from our engagement in 2018 to our wedding in 2021 as we had to postpone due to the pandemic. Under extremely challenging circumstances and with very unclear rules and regulations, Sue and her team made our wedding dreams come true and gave us the best outcome possible. Beautiful table, thoughtful schedule and the food was to die for! I would highly recommend Hawley Crescent for any catering services and especially for weddings!

We had our wedding catered by the team at Hawley Crescent in September 2021 and everything was absolutely fabulous! They were able to accommodate all meal requests, including a fully vegetarian wedding, among several other allergies and restrictions as well. The food was spectacular and everything was served on time and the staff was all amazing. We also booked an all-inclusive package which came with planning assistance, signage, and rentals, and everything was very customizable so that every detail was able to be changed to exactly what we envisioned. As a family with three small children, Hawley Crescent makes meal preparation easy, so that we can focus on doing all the other things we enjoy. Roger and his team combine the best of homemade cooking with the best of "fast food". We used to go out for supper once or twice a week to save time, but we found that it was expensive, and didn't really end up saving that much time. With Hawley Crescent, however, we get home, bathe the kids while the food reheats, and we sit down for supper twenty minutes later.

Ordered the appy hour crush crate for Christmas eve, and Christmas dinner for 2. Very impressed and everything tastes great. While most places had a minimum amount of servings required, we were very happy to find somewhere that would cater to any group size. Having gluten free was another added bonus.

Myself , my daughter and my daughters soon to be mother in-law went for our first meeting to talk about catering for my daughters wedding shower being held at The Parkwood Estate. (Sue and Roger have worked with Parkwood for many years and come highly recommended) Sue and Roger went out of their way to tell us how they could help us from start to finish. We are so very excited to have Hawley Crescent do our Christmas meal again this year. It has fast become tradition in our household to celebrate all of life's occasions with these delightful people. What a memorable weekend thanks to Hawley Crescent! Our family all gathered in Prince Edward County to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. As we had rented a beautiful home on the water, we hired Hawley Crescent Culinary to cater the event. Had our Corporate Holiday lunch catered by Hawley, the menu provided was customized based on our needs and budget, and food was excellent!! Very fresh, a wide variety, and excellent vegetarian options. Pricing was extremely reasonable, and they provided us with everything. Roger & Sue were wonderful to deal with, very responsive and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this company, keep an eye out for them at events in Durham to try out if you don’t have a catering need!

First things first, the food was phenomenal. We are a very critical family when it comes to our food, but Roger and his gang knocked it out of the park, our guests only had good things to say. They seamlessly accommodated all dietary restrictions and created a wonderful "custom" salad for us. The team provides an incredible bunch of value added services like signage, décor rental and setup, table scape design and day of coordination, which will make any bride's day easier. They are attentive and no detail is too small. Through the uncertainties with the pandemic, they were compassionate and flexible, though we did not have to reschedule (thankfully) they allowed us more time to sort out our final numbers which was so appreciated. We cannot recommend them highly enough for a wedding or big event.

Planning a wedding can be stressful especially when ensuring guests are happy and fed good food. Roger and Sue made it so fun and stress free. The tastings were amazing, felt like we were sitting at the family dinner table with them. They can do any kind of dish you want and will even suggest items that you didnt even think of. For our wedding we decided to go with a non traditional dinner. Servers were passing around heavier appetizer type dishes while a couple of stations were set up for guests to help themselves. Guests are still raving about our food and how amazing the staff at Hawley Crescent was. Everyone left stuffed and happy which was the goal. The food was so so delicious and everything we wanted. A couple of comments made by guests included "best butter chicken I have ever had!" and "a buttertart bar!? best wedding ever". Sue's attention to detail made it even more special. The set up was perfect and she and team were so helpful in setting up the day. They set up our guestbook and favours table. I had no worries or concerns the day of thanks to them. The warming and welcoming presence they bring made it that much more personal. They are more than a catering company. I feel like my new husband and myself will always be apart of the Hawley Crescent family and will continue to urge everyone to use them for any event. Words cant describe how thankful we are to you guys.

Hawley Crescent did a fantastic job planning our wedding! In just 2 months, they planned and executed the most PERFECT day for us. We had a 44 person outdoor wedding in Aug 2020 (during COVID) and all our guests felt so safe with all the safety protocols taken by the team. The food was UNREAL - I still dream of that late night pizza! The decor and set up was everything I had envisioned. Though having a wedding during a pandemic isnt someones first choice, everything happeneds for a reason and I wouldnt have had the oppurtunity to eat the most delish food on the happiest day of our lives.
