I needed to send flowers to 2 funerals for 1 family for 2 different people, in 2 different countries....and placed the order the day before Valentine's day...aka the busiest day of the year in Florist shops! They made it easy, took the time to help me choose and their recommendations were fantastic. The family loved what we sent: A mixture of cut and potted flowers. It turned out, the potted flowers were especially appreciated, and were being transplanted into their garden.

(Katherine’s Dad posting this)Both my sister and I placed orders for my mom’s 87th birthday. Neither order arrived on the special day. They allege they tried to make the delivery but they dropped the ball. They had my email, my cell, my sister’s contact info.... do they think to contact either one of us? No. We find out the next day FROM MOM that neither bouquet was delivered! They never contact us to ask if the bouquets could be left on the enclosed porch. Or for us to contact mom. The temps were 10c and the flowers were fine to leave if Mom did not hear the door knock. Mom was home all day and she missed getting her flowers- and that was a shame. It was supposed to be a loving gesture to an elderly mom. The response of the florist? A defensive attitude. Hence I take the time to post this, my first Google review.

My darling daughters bought me a gorgeous bouquet of fresh flowers from The Big Event, on Saturday October 2nd (2021) to present with my birthday present. Today is October 19th and I just discarded 3/4 of the bouquet with some flowers still looking good so downsized to a thin vase. The value is amazing !!!!!

Small shop with big offerings. Flowers are always arranged beautifully and delivered fresh with a smile! Very accomodating for last minute needs and perfect to grab a nice house plant as a pick me up or gift. My floral gifts ordered from out of town friends and relatives are always as wonderful as they should be, I always send a photo to the sender and they are thrilled that it is as ordered and then some!

Our parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary February 2021. Obviously, our plans to hold a big celebration were foiled by covid. BUT thanks to Big Event Floral we were able to make the day a memorable one! We ordered several arrangement and they did not disappoint! The arrangements were gorgeous and fragrant. Our parents were so surprised and loved them all! When we say all, we not only refer to the arrangements we sent; but also the many arrangements sent by friends and family. Our parents said the same delivery person delivered flowers to their home at least 3 times in addition to our order! Thank you so much for everything! In these times it is so, so important to support the local businesses. We would definitely use their services again and strongly recommend everyone to support their business. I ordered flowers for my mom to be delivered to her house because the hospital she was in wasn’t accepting deliveries. (Covid) She came home one week later than expected so I ordered some more. The most beautiful, fresh and unique floral arrangements! My husband is one of the local dentists in town (Dr. Dhaliwal) and I always ask him to bring home a bouquet from Big Event Floral.
