It's a good thing the store is so big and has great selection, because the customer service is left to be desired. I don't know what those high-tech ear pieces they wear do for them, sure doesn't do much for customer service. Pretty sad when you come in wanting to give them your money but they won't even acknowledge you existence. But even when they do, customer service...lame. Careful brick and mortar stores it's all come to an end. Hello online shopping, free shipping, better selection and sometimes better prices.

Well, I placed an order online Thursday am. The item I wanted was available in store. So instead of attending the store I tjough I would try curbside pick up. Placed my order, received email confirmation almost immediately that my order went through and to wait for a follow up email as to when I could attend and pick up.my order. A few minutes later, another emIl confirmation that payment went through but to wait for email confirmation when my order was ready for pick up. Today is Monday and still no email. Called the store to inquire and was told my order was ready Attended the store, asked about my order and the cashier went and got it. I asked the cashier why I would not have been notified that it was ready. Was told that they don't send out the email, it is automated, they just call. I let her know that no one called. That I had to call. She basically said oh okay. Very disappointed with the service or lack of at this location....5 days to get shoes that were in stock.

The store associates are full of stereotypes. I went to the store to buy special kind of gloves. I asked one of the associates if they happened to have that special gloves. The associate was explaining to me, but suddenly, a female associate interjected the conversation and said that the store does not have such gloves. Even if they have, they are very costly. For some seconds, I was shocked. I mean, I am the one to decide whether they are expensive or not for me. But the store associate judged me: I do not know on what basis. Both the store associates went away without helping me. I checked the price, and the gloves that I was looking for that the female store associate said were costly were just $30. Management of the sports check you should please look into this. Well, I will shop in other stores and never sports check, and I will encourage my friends and family to do the same.

I called the service desk and I needed a snowboard waxed and polished before the store closed for use the next day. Staff couldn't say for sure but they said they would try there best to get it done in time. On my way out the door my roommate asked me to get his done. I came in with two boards to be done and they had them good to go in two hours. Their service desk did a really good job of them as well.

Horrible service. Everytime I visit there is a group of three or four female staff who you can never find and when you do find them they're chit chatting to each other.Today I found them all in a group socializing in the changing rooms and heard one say how glad she was that she was done soon and I had to ask them for help. Jesus christ I know theres 20 minutes until closing but make yourselves usefull. The bottom line is when you see a customer coming towards you looking lost make eye contact and ask if they need anything. If you were my staff I'd fire you.

Went yesterday and the online inventory showed that there were many more the jackets available there. First I couldn't find someone to help for 20 minutes. But, when I went there wasn't any not even a different size. The representative was nice who helped but the manager was rude. I wasted a hour.

Great service today in the shoe department. I didn't have to wait to be assisted and the young lady who helped me out was friendly, quick finding me options in my size and was back to check often once I tried on a few pairs at a time. I found a nice pair of court shoes at a decent price and left very confident in my purchase.

Great store but they never have any smaller sizes. I'm always disappointed when I need a size lower which "it does come in, but we don't have". I've been shopping or trying to shop at Sport Chek since it was in the North Bay Mall. The only thing I've purchased to fit is a loose hoodie, and a pair of shoes which I had to order online. Maybe I should eat a burger.

I wouldn't even give this store a single star. I use to be a frequent customer, however during a recent experience of a child being bullied regarding their appearance by employees at this location I won't step foot in here. I am not one to blame or point fingers, but there were THREE separate employees at this location that made highly inappropriate comments and/or went out of their way to direct negativity about a child's appearance that were almost inconceivable. I feel sick to my stomach even thinking about this. I am disgusted and will never come here again. Please give your employees sensitivity training and teach them the importance of meeting people in retail that don't always fit societys mold. You need to become better and do better Sports Chek, Timmins.. way better.

They have decent customer service in the store but ordering online is horrible. I bought some boots online that first were delivered to their store instead of my home. Then when I got them they didn't fit so I needed to exchange for a size up they said I had to go back to the store and return them and reorder from the store. They refused to just order in my replacement for an exchange to save me multiple trips to the store. This is the worst online service I have seen ever. I am returning the boots and buying my footwear elsewhere from now on.

Waited inline for shoes totally understand the waiting .. Once I got into look at the men's shoes for my two boys zero sizes between 8-10? These were expensive shoes! Tried two different pairs no luck. No offer of ordering online in correct size associate just walked away . I ordered online myself .

Nice Sport Chek attached to an Atmosphere. I assume that because of the general size of North Bay, they deemed it not necessary to have separate stores, pity. Atmosphere would make for a nice dedicated outdoor store like MEC or SAIL.

The young man that was working in the running show deptment was not very helpful. When I mentioned that I was unable to put the nylon sock on his response was I've see men size 14 able to do it. There was something else but no matter I will not set foot back in the North Bay outlet. Everyone else was amazing but he just couldn't be bothered. ☹

General sizes s m l xl kids snow pants but nothing fit's really good. Need more specific sizes 5-6 7-8 9-10 and lower price from $90 to something more realistic $50-60. Their only snow pants.
