Went for a Union Christmas Party. Beautiful place, great food!

Was here for a bridal shower last weekend. Its a decent place, the food was ok. Problem was, the mic system and speakers cut in and out the entire afternoon. It would screech and only work intermittently. They had a lot of trouble getting the background music to work. I think we got through 2 or 3 songs perhaps. There were only a couple young kids working so no one that could really help with the equipment.

Lamia made our dream wedding come true. Throughout the whole wedding process to the day of she was there. Very friendly, helpful and easy to work with. Our food was amazing from start to finish. All out guest left happy and full. They were able to accommodate all food sensitivities including family members with severe celiac. Our guest are still raving about Joe the bartender.

Had our wedding here and loved it. Price was very fair for the quality of food we received with the 7-hour ruby package. We lucked out with weather on Oct 14 at the outdoor gazebo. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a little mixup with the vegetarian option, but when we spoke about it after with our organizer, they offered us something that made up for it. Would highly recommend to anyone trying to do something very nice, not insanely over the top, and on a budget.. though if you want upgrades, they're all available!

The venue is nice and the food was good. The dessert wasn't very impressive, it was basically a fruit cup. They also didn't serve the champagne for a toast, our hosts had to get it themselves.

We had our daughter' Quinceañera at Marquis Gardens at the Hamilton location, this past Saturday August 14 2021 and we were so happy with their service , amazing place , excellent food ????. We would like thank Claudine and Devie who were there to help us all along to the end of our event. My daughter was so happy and our guests were delighted with everything. I am celiac and went to an event here. By the time I was home I was so sick and continued to ve sick the next day. I asked my wait staff to ensure it was gluten free because I do have an allergy. This is sadly one of thr many places that still needs to educate themselves on an allergy that is becoming very common. Food places are offering alternatives ans making sure there is no cross contamination. My waitress told me to eat vegetables that were mixed with with chicken and sauce she told me was not gluten free. Total cross contamination. Please I beg places to educate your cooks and wait staff on gluten. It is hidden in so many things and it is not just a day of illness, which by the way is horrible and i wish it upon not a single soul, it is weeks of side effects that can effect your every day living and work life. It is was because this is our second year attending this event and both times I was sick. Please educate yourselves.

3rd event with the marquis gardens team and I will 100% continue to be a repeat customer. (Wedding 130 guests, celebration of life 300 guests, birthday party 20 guests COVID-19 restrictions) This event was different now with the times of covid 19 protocols, which were all followed by guests and staff. Our family was very comfortable with the measures that were taken to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. I was absolutely thrilled to be able to celebrate my daughters first birthday with my family. Food was amazing!!! Thanks again for the memories

It was a celebration of 52 years independence banquet for the Barbados community. The event was well attended. Food was good, entertainment was pleasant, patrons appeared to have a good time. I certainly enjoyed the event. The staff were very helpful and attentive to patrons needs.

We attended a family wedding reception at Marquis Gardens recently. The food was fine, and our server was attentive. It's a nice hall. Unfortunately, there was a fairly obnoxious odour coming from the carpet where our table was.

Absolutely miserable new years experience. Supposedly child friendly new years event with the dj ruining volume at over 85db (I checked, and pointed it out, no action was taken). No organization on the dance floor leading to ten year olds bouncing around 2 year olds like ping pong balls. I would give negative stars if possible. TL/DR - permanent hearing loss loud dangerous environment billed as 'kid friendly'

We recently had my daughter-in-law's Bridal shower at Marquis Gardens in Hamilton and there is one word to describe our experience: amazing. The details and communication was perfect from start to end. The customer service and service itself was outstanding. Debbie was our contact and she was incredibly helpful with any accommodations and last minute arrangements. Thank you Debbie and the entire Marquis Garden staff for the wonderful experience. Yummy food for an amazing value! Would Highly Recommend!!

Awful customer service. Called to get a quote for an engagement party before I headed over as I wanted to get an idea of what to expect. I was 100% going to book with them. The woman who took my info down told me she’d get back to me in a few hours. Days went by without a response and I was forced to book else where. Extremely disappointing service. You’d think they’d want people to book their venue

Went here for a work party, parking lot was very dangerous (large sheets of ice everywhere) they also should have had someone outside directing the parking as it became limited. Dinner service was slow and portioning was small, was not even a portion for everyone at the table. We had to ask for more meat and mashed potatoes. No coffee or tea service as of 9pm. Most guests left after desert and didn't wait to see if the coffee/tea was coming.

Marquis gardens was EXTRAVAGANT. We had top notch service for my cousin's wedding. They accommodated the brides' choice of food that was different than the others, they accomodated special dietary needs. They served drinks all night. The bartender made sure we had the best service possible all night. The maitre D was just as amazing making sure everything was going smoothly. We were extremely amazed.

Family and friends celebrated the life of our cousin at the Marquis Gardens on 1050 Rymal Road in Hamilton Ontario two weeks ago. The reception area was well designed and clean, the service was excellent and the food was reasonably priced. The quality of food was very good except for the meat lovers which was not a good quality, yet food presentation was excellent. What made it easier to recommend the Marrquis Gardens is the services provided by the coordinator Claudine, she was helpful, patient and very caring. I had my wedding reception at the Marquis Gardens Hamilton. I live in halifax, NS. Being an out of town bride and planning a wedding could have been a nightmare but the level of communication from our coordinator was phenomenal. Every detail was looked after and I got to relax and enjoy the party. The stand out star of the evening was by far Joe, our bartender. He took such good care of us that he made me and my guests feel like family. Joe was so engaging, funny, and charming that even today (2 years after the wedding) my guests are still asking about him. He made us feel like family and my family is still asking after him. I want to thank everyone at the Marquis Gardens Hamilton for the best night of my life, Joe especially. From Kelly N. Had my wedding here, a year later as we celebrated our anniversary we still had things to say about it. If your looking for a venue and they have spots available take them. You may bawk at the prices but after we looked around they are very reasonable and the food... oh gawds the food. Me and the wifey are both chefs and we loved every bite. As much as it sucked not having a few people able to attend, I got seconds out if it lol. We did had a mixup with our late night snacks being taken to another party, but they chef there jumped on that, made fresh stuff for us asap and fixed it with not a second thought. He knows his stuff and cares about the people, a rare combo these days.

The room was decorated beautifully however the carpets were dirty and there was a foul smell at times. The dinner that was offered to me is not what I received. When I mentioned this to our server he went to the kitchen, then returned saying"I am.sorry but the chef said we don"t have that." When I asked why that meal was offered to me he again just said I am sorry and placed a stuffed pepper with veggies in front of me. I did not eat this meal because I didn't find it enjoyable. With the exception of our bartender who was wonderful, I would say the service we received at Marquis Gardens was less than satisfactory.
