My fiancé and I held our engagement party at Springfield on November 20th. We had a fantastic time. The food was great, the staff was amazing, and the venue was great! Kudos to Rhonda, Aaron, Chad, Libby, and Kathya for making our experience memorable and easy! We had support all thorough the process of planning and they were very helpful. They are extremely friendly and we are so happy we did it at Springfield. 10/10 service and would definitely recommend!

Best Covid-19 Pandemic golfing experience yet! Fabulous day with an amazingly wonderful girlfriend. The incredibly green fairways, greens and surrounding trees reminded me of Ireland. The birds were entertaining and cheering is with their songs!! THANK-YOU, Springfield staff⛳????????

The carts were in good shape and ran well. We will go back for sure, hopefully get in a round of 18 next time since we only did 9 this time.

Went to a wedding reception here. It was nice but more signs to show guests where to go at certain times would have been helpful. I didn't love the prime rib but most people seemed to enjoy it. You didn't get a say in how you wanted it cooked - I got midrare while the guy beside me got well-done. The staff weren't overly friendly. Compared to a wedding I went to here 15 years ago, I'd say it's gone downhill and maybe needs a revamp. And more love from the staff.

This is a pretty nice course; it's well kept, there are some really fun holes, and you really can't beat the price of $28. However, management seems to be an issue at this course and it degrades the quality of play. On one instance, I showed up 5 minutes late and was told I could no longer play. After some back and forth, I convinced the starter to let me play and promised I'd play fast. When I got down to the first tee, there were two groups ahead of me still waiting to tee off. Some due diligence to make sure the tee is open before scolding a customer for being 5 minutes late should definitely be exercised. In general, the waiting to tee off and take your next shot seems to be commonplace at Springfield. I'm not entirely sure how much they space out their tee times, but I am sure that it is not enough. I have yet to play a round this year where I am not waiting 10+ minutes at every hole on the front 9. Some effort on management's end to ensure their patrons have a higher quality of play, and aren't waiting to take every shot, would go a long way.

Unreal experience at Springfield. The course was in great condition, great value for the green fee rates. The pro shop staff was unbelievably helpful, and accommodating, will be driving from Georgetown to play here more often

This place was all right, a beautiful location, and the staff was very friendly and kind. Food was all right we were there for a work party, they did their best for food allergies but did not really keep things separate and missed some appetizers we had ordered. If you have a party, there they are very, very strict with the bar and light on the booze and will close the bar during dinner just and fyi.

I just went there for a business day, it is winter so I could only see the white fields. First there is no sign on the outside, so I and most of my colleagues missed the entrance. The place from inside is pretty basic, you feel it is too old but it is not. The food was ok, not very impressed with it but the staff were friendly. Nothing much to say as I didn't do much, I will update my review if I go there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing this course for the first time last Sunday. Greens in great shape, great scenery and course layout. Also no roaming marshalls on carts watching and rushing you to pick up pace ( it was not slow either) or golf carts that stop when you head in wrong direction. The staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly, (Starter and waitress). I will definitely return.

My parents had their wedding here at the gazebo. It was a small gathering for immediate family only. The ceremony was nice as they had their own officiant and photographer come in. The dinner however, was disappointing. They assured me that my meal was gluten free but halfway through my salad I encountered croutons. They had told my parents that we would have 2 dedicated servers for our group of about 25 people. They ended up having 1 and it took hours to have our food served. The kids were starving and the food was sub par.

This course was in great shape when we played it. Somewhat slow round (5 hours). However, we found a two-for-one coupon online which made up for that. It is a short track (blues-5682) but don't let that fool you. The par 70 course plays tough from the tips (at least it did for me as I found a few traps - which we're tough to play from as it had rained pretty hard before we got there). Although it's impossible to watch for, we did experience some very close calls with errant balls coming at us on 3 different tee boxes; with one ball whizzing by our heads.

We are absolutely floored with the excellent service provided at Springfield Golf & Country Club. On August 17th, my husband and I got married at Springfield's facilities and from start to finish we were amazing by the experience. It really was the best day of our lives. We had an intimate wedding ceremony at their lovely white gazebo surrounded by beautiful summer gardens, a long pathway, fresh greens, and a beautiful white picket fence. It was the perfect setting to say our "I Dos". The day followed with photos by Morning light Photography on Springfield's beautiful grounds which made more wonderful memories with all our loved ones. The Tamarac room was the setting of our reception where we had space for a large head table, guest tables, decor, a place for dancing, and a stage for our DJ and podium. Springfield decorated the place beautifully and also supported us while we added the unique touches that represented our personal styles. They also offered the Pines room as a back up Plan B option in case of weather changes which made us feel take care of and stress free. The staff was friendly, thorough, and articulate when helping us plan the wedding and the culinary staff blew us away with their delicious options. The restaurant manager, Chad, was so incredible with us we decided to have our rehearsal dinner there the night before as well and we were so pleased. The staff accommodated allergies and provided options for elderly guests with limited mobility at our wedding. It was a very inclusive setting for our event. The event coordinator from Springfield, Julie Stull, was unbelievable. She went so above and beyond and became such a huge part of our wedding day. She kept me calm and happy as a bride and made our vision come to life. From behind the scenes to holding my train as I walked down the aisle, the day would not have been the same without Julie. She is reason enough to book with Springfield and I will always remember her patience and support. I will be booking future events at Springfield and taking in some rounds of golf there as well in the future. Excellent golf course, very well layed out. Due to a rain storm that had passed earlier in the day, they wouldn't allow us to drive a golf cart. They could have allowed it, as long as we stayed along the cart path. Gave it a 4 because they closed the kitchen at 3pm. They should have kept it open till 6pm at least.

Proshop staff were busy on their cell phones instead attending to us. The young gentleman with a sleeve of tattoos was not particularly interested in being polite or courteous whilst checking us in. it was so upsetting it effected my round. course was in great shape otherwise, such a shame to have staff that dont match.

Disappointing Saturday golfing experience. First of all, it seemed as if there was no one working there, except at the pro shop. We went into the bar/lounge area prior to playing - no one behind the bar, and no one at the reception desk. For how busy it was I was surprised to only see one beer cart as well. Secondly, the 18 holes took 5 hours to complete due to congestion. With a booked tee time, we waited at the first hole for 10min while a group of 3 tee’d off ahead of us. There were two groups of two waiting behind us to tee off as well, and the starting marshall paired us up with one of them. Our first and only experience at Springfield was spent waiting at each hole to tee off, or trying to hurry for the group behind us to go. So slow! If i’m paying a pretty penny I want to tee off on time, have a peaceful smooth game, and not play with strangers of differing skill levels. In regards to the actual course, it was well maintained with large fairways. Some challenging holes, especially the back 9 with lots of water to get over. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Well maintained ~6000 yard course that's affordable ($60-65 w/ cart) and really enjoyable! Had a blast and feel the course is gettable as a 14 handicap. Highlights of the course include the 4th and 17th hole with beautiful backdrops into the par 3 greens. The water was nice and the ducks provide some fans to keep you honest under pressure! The starter was helpful and provided good tips for first timers at the course. Hope to break 80 here soon!

We just got married here at the end of June and I’m speechless from beginning to end Julie was ALWAYS there for us to answer any questions to correct any issues. Her communication was always prompt and very detailed. Every aspect of her planning was perfect which is an understatement. The food was amazing, decorations and detail were mind blowing! I couldn’t had asked for a more organized venue and wedding planner! If your planning any event from baptisms to weddings! This is the place for you! You must contact Julie as her service and friendly professionalism is unremarkable! We have had nothing but positive feed back from all our guests about venue and food! My father left his wedge on the course and I called the proshop next day. They said they have the wedge but when I went back to pick it up, they gave it to other guy who claimed it as his own. what a joke. Titleist Vokey wedge gone. They didnt check the identification or whatever.

My squad has played all over southwestern Ontario, and this course remains one of our favourites. It's relatively short from the back (blue) tees, but every hole offers a unique challenge. Well placed bunkers, lots of foliage and trees down the fairways (but not so much to lose a ball), and a fabulous back nine with very picturesque water for three holes at the turn. Very well-groomed, our rainy spring has been a blessing for this verdant course. Watch the greens - immaculate but very hard to read. Friendly staff, and good eats in the bar. You'll love this track. $56 without cart.

Gorgeous golf course!! A shorter course at 5473 yards from the blues, however it was perfect for my son who played from the reds (4286 yards). The course was well maintained with lots of bunkers. I enjoyed that there was 6 par 3's. All of them were quite beautiful. Maybe the best grouping of par 3's on a public course in southern Ontario!! Lots of water to hit over on the back 9 holes. Out of 18 holes, I absolutely loved 13 of them!! I especially enjoyed the 13th where you have to hit over water twice! We will come back for sure.

This is not our first time having a family event at Springfield, and I will be blunt to say this will be our last! I would give the: venue a 4* Food a 5* Staff a 5* Booking Manager a 1* she is the reason we will never host another event. Although the food and the venue were amazing as per usual, the booking experience, organization and service was VERY DISAPPOINTING! In the past Mike was our coordinator, he was easy to talk to, answered all our questions, gave us everything we wanted and service day of our events was always amazing. This time we dealt with a girl named Julie who at first meeting was very over the top phony/fake. We wanted something similar like we had in the past and we were told "we don't do that anymore" even though the menu option is still on the web page. She sent us a quote the very next day for a cocktail reception style event with items she chose, we didn't even pick, and said to ourselves well; lets trust her she knows what she is doing. Day of the our party food was out in the room before we even arrived? How long had it been sitting there? what if we were late? Why not wait until all our guests arrived? Day of she was VERY RUDE and everything we asked we got a huge sigh, and it was like we were asking the world of her, she was even rude to our guests. Springfield used to be our go to place for all family events, but we refuse to deal with her and left us with a very sour memory. We will find a new favorite.

I've had mixed experiences playing here. Usually the course is in nice condition, however I find the greens to be quite slow much of the time. The power carts are also in need of an update. Otherwise, it's well-kept and lush, and moderately difficult track for the average rec golfer. The staff is generally friendly, though hit or miss at times. My biggest complaint is the kitchen hours, which don't accommodate evening golfers. Additionally, it's hard to find a beverage cart on busy/warm days, as it sits in one spot instead of driving around the course. Overall, it's one of the better public courses in the area, but there are some areas where things can be improved.
