We had DJ Charlie Clean recommended to us from a previous bride who said that they were the easiest vendor to deal with at their wedding. How could we say no!? Mark was a blast to work with right from our first meeting. Incredibly professional and friendly. He laid everything out for us and his passion for the business clearly showed! He was very good at following up with us and ensuring we were on track with our planning. He was also quick to answer questions and walk us through whatever we needed. Their online planning system made it easy for us to determine and organize the music and details of our day and was very convenient for us to use. When it came time for the wedding, we had Daryl as our DJ and he was great! Played every song right on que and stuck to the schedule we had provided him. He was flexible and amazing at taking and playing requests in a timely manner. He helped us get a few things sorted out technically as well which was a big help. Overall, would highly recommend this company for all your DJ needs!

We can't say enough amazing things - Mark sent his dream team of Matt and Candace (Dj & coordinator) to our wedding and everything went off without a hitch!! The dance floor was PACKED until 1am and they had to kick us out of the venue. Where do we even start! Working with Mark was an awesome experience! If you are looking for someone who is organized, efficient and positive, you're looking in the right place. We truly feel that with Mark's help and assistance, our wedding music, from ceremony songs to the music that got our guests to the dance floor, reflected our musical tastes and who we are as a couple. Guests loved that they could request songs prior to the wedding, and everyone heard what they requested. Mark is so flexible, when we changed our first dance song at the last minute he just totally rolled with it and was on board! Music is a big part of our lives and we were so happy we chose Mark and DJ Charlie Clean Custom Events to help us plan our big day. A huge shout out to event assistant Candace as well. My wife Tina and I hired Mark as our DJ for an outdoor wedding in the summer of 2013 just outside of Guelph. I'll start by saying that Mark was fantastic to work with, came totally prepared for everything, and executed his role on our wedding day flawlessly. In short, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect DJ for our wedding and Tina and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ for their event. We had an outdoor farm wedding with some difficult logistics regarding the power supply and location of the sound systems. Mark was great communicating with us beforehand about what would be needed and came out to the location well in advance of the event to walk through all the different set up possibilities. He was crystal clear about his needs and totally flexible to ours. Because he was so flexible and clear about his needs, it made it easy for us to make our set up fit with the sound system's needs. Mark also guided us to his online song selection catalog to help guide him on musical choice for the event. While I found the web based system a little cumbersome, Mark again showed amazing flexibility in talking through what style and songs we wanted and matched his performance on our wedding day to exactly what we had discussed in advance. On the day of the event, Mark completely nailed his performance. Some highlights of what made him such a great DJ for the day are: 1. Mark took the initiative to ask what kind of music we wanted during the dinner, something I realized I hadnt even thought of. I gave completely vague instruction about how my wife liked classical violin music, and maybe something like that would work well. Without missing a beat, Mark put together a playlist on short notice that was just completely perfect for the dinner hour. It was such a wonderful choice and I gave him almost no direction whatsoever -- and he nailed it. 2. I was pretty specific on the songs we wanted for the ceremony - and of course for all the special dances, but my instructions to Mark for the reception were basically to keep the party going and avoid certain genres of music. Well, the party lasted all night long and the dance floor was never empty. He played all the right music at all the right time. At one point, I felt like a certain set was going to run too long and get boring for the people dancing - so I walked over to Mark to suggest that we cut it short and almost before I could make the suggestion - he said "I'm on it - I can see it, we'll switch it up." He did, and the dancing continued! 3. A massive storm hit the event quite late into the evening and while we were all under the tent, all the electrical connections were outside getting soaked. Of course, at some point he power cut out. But Mark scrambled like crazy in the downpour to fix the system and get everything back online. Withing a few minutes - the music boomed back and the dancefloor got rocking again. What could have been a real downer turned into one of the most special parts of the evening because of Mark's quick thinking and commitment to keeping the party going. 4. He stayed all night! Literally, Mark didn't stop playing until every single one of our guests was completely danced out. And he never let up and had the perfect songs for every moment throughout the night. So, in conclusion, Mark was the best DJ we could have ever hoped for. I strongly recommend that you hire him for your event. You will be very happy you did. Thanks again, Mark! I found this company simply on google and reached out, Mark got back to me promptly and answered all of my questions and was not pushy in the slightest. He was fantastic with telephone chats with my husband and I and the website they use is extremely helpful. Matt and Mike were our DJs and they were both phenomenal; we also used Matt as our Emcee. They listened to everything we asked of them before the wedding and all of my must play songs were played. They kept the party going throughout the entire night and handled our kissing game well too, even when the same little kiddies kept insisting on playing over and over. Absolutely no complaints, Mark followed up as well after the wedding to ensure we were happy with our service and we most definitely were. Would recommend 100%, they are very budget friendly and recognize that this is a career choice and not simply a hobby like some of the other individuals I had previously contacted.

We used DJ Charlie Clean for our wedding 2 weeks ago. The whole process was smooth and they provide a fair amount of guidance and support. We had our own website where we filled out requests, specific wants/needs, day of timeline, etc. We had Dino as our DJ. He was fantastic! He had all of his equipment ready to go on time and had a microphone for speeches. There was never any sound issues the whole day. Music played before the ceremony was exactly what we wanted and he even checked with me to make sure that it was good. He switched over to the processional music cleanly without even any cue - he just knew when to start. During dinner he played the perfect mix of music, again checking that it was what we were hoping for - I was very happy with this! He read the crowd perfectly for the dancing. When we first met with Mark to discuss our vision for our wedding, his enthusiam, professionalism and love of music sealed the deal for us. From the moment we met Mark he spoke to us more like friends than clients or customers, and we felt so comfortable being able to have an open discussion. Mark's check-ins and phone calls and offers to meet up throughout our wedding planning process were always so helpful and reassuring. DJ Charlie Clean's online planning resources and music library made planning our reception a piece of cake! Everything was so well laid out, and easy to use, and if we had any questions Mark was consistently there for us. On our wedding day, we had DJ Dino and oh my goodness that man is musical greatness. He kept the floor bumpin' all night, with such a way of reading the crowd and figuring out the perfect songs for each moment. Dino also did a fantastic job at working closely with our MC prior to our reception, which helped everything flow smoothly. That night, the day after, and even a month later we continue to have family and friends comment on how amazing our reception was, and how much fun they had dancing the night away. First, our review is long overdue, but that doesn’t change how truly amazing the team is! We hired DJ Charlie clean for our September 2019 wedding after a referral from friends. From day 1 they were responsive, helpful and patient as we tried to navigate what it was that we wanted and needed. We had a quick chat with Mark when we first reached out and then a full consultation to walk us through all the details. Mark and team were always quick to respond to emails and questions and we felt fully supported from day 1. Leading up to our wedding a lot (outside our Dj service) started going wrong. When our venue moved us to a different hall without warning 3 days before, it was Mark (not our venue or wedding planner) who calmed my nerves and helped me figure out what to do. He called me and helped me redesign our floor plan, talked potential lighting changes, table/ DJ set up and truly helped put my mind at ease as I was in tears trying to sort through the last minute hiccup. They truly went above and beyond! Tim was our DJ and MC the day of, and he was friendly and attentive. He was quick to seek me and my husband out to brief us on all the last minute changes and to assure us he had everything under control. My husband and I were married on August 4, 2018 and we hired DJ Charlie Clean to play at our wedding. We went with the King package and had husband/wife duo Matt and Candace for the evening. I had several guests come up to me during the evening saying that they were exhausted from dancing so much but they couldn't sit down because the DJ was amazing! Friends and family still reminisce on how good the DJ was that we hired... The owner of the company, Mark is great and he is awesome to work with!! He check in with you every step of the way and keeps you accountable! He really listens to what you want and will deliver!! I had a lot more than just wedding stress going on at the time so I really appreciated that he always followed up. For our reception, Matt was not only our DJ but he also acted as MC. He kept the flow going and ran a couple of wedding games for us during dinner. I did not have question prepared for him to ask guests about the bride/groom but Matt was awesome and had questions ready to go! I let him have full reigns on what to play (I only gave a "do not play list") and he was spot on with all his songs. He also played requests, which was awesome! We had guests stay until the very end, still dancing! Finally, we also had the assistance of Candace. She made sure the evening ran smoothly and was great at checking in to make sure that my husband and I had everything we needed. IF there was an issue, I know she would be quick to fix it however we did not have any emergencies day of and I can only think that it's because Candace helped it to be that way! She coordinated with the venue and servers to make sure meals and speeches were on time which was so important to me! It was such a relief having Candace and Matt there ensuring everything went smoothly and everyone had a great time. Thank you SO much DJ Charlie Clean!!

I'd like to begin by saying how great of a job you did from start to finish. The introductions went perfectly and our first dance will be one that Amanda and I will never forget. The wedding party loved the songs they walked in to. They all said the same thing, they were glad they didn't have to make up a dance as each song had it's own dance move lol. I've spoken to a few people since then and I've only heard good things regarding you. You kept the dance floor moving and everyone having a great time. Everyone was very happy with the songs you played throughout the night and I haven't heard a single complaint...not that it would have mattered. Amanda and I were both completely pleased with you and your service. You went above and beyond compiling a not so easy playlist I requested from you for our dinner and the songs you played throughout the evening flowed perfectly into each other. You kept the vibes alive on the dance floor and everyone was grooving and enjoying their time, especially Amanda and myself. I can't thank you enough for taking care of the songs I requested over dinner. A lot of them hold a special place to Amanda and I and it was perfect hearing them in the background while we enjoyed our time with family and friends. I did notice one thing and I'm not sure if it's coincidence or if you planned it but you played pretty much the only "Italian song" I requested as the pasta dish was served. It was perfect timing that I noticed and I'm sure others did as well. Again, thank you so much for the great work and for being a big part in our important day. You made the both of us very happy and we couldn't have picked a better professional for the job.

When choosing vendors for our wedding we chose those who felt the most comfortable with, those we felt we could hang out with over wings and beer and those we felt would fit right in with our family and friends. Within the first few minutes of meeting with Mark we knew he was the perfect fit for us. All of our emails were returned promptly and professionally and Mark was always willing to meet up with us over coffee to discuss the wedding plans. The planning tool Mark provided was perfect (especially for planners like us!) and beyond thorough. It gave us the ability schedule our reception, choose the music we wanted (or did not want) and gave us music suggestions. Mark was great when we requested to meet with the DJ that would be at our wedding. We met with Leonard (our wedding DJ) a few weeks prior to our wedding. Leonard got to know us and our music ‘wants/needs’. Leonard was awesome at our wedding! He did an amazing job at playing all our guests requests and keeping everyone on the dance floor. We LOVED having Mark as our DJ for our wedding! From the first meeting, we knew we were in the hands of a professional who loved what they are doing. He answered every question we threw at him, and gave us a lot of tips and insight into details that we hadn’t thought of at the time. BE CAREFUL!! My wife and I attended a Wedding where DJ Charlie Clean's company was the DJ. Could not believe the disrespect we received from the DJ when we tried to request music. Essentially because we weren't the married couple, we were chop liver to the DJ. We talked to our friends about it afterwards and they couldn't believe it happened. The DJ was nice to them, but I guess as soon as the couple turns their back they don't care about the other guests. We've attended other Weddings and we've never been treated this way. There's much better DJ's out there. We understand that the couple getting married is important, but the guests should be as well. If you want your guests to be treated fairly and with respect, go with anyone else and stay away from these guys. **In response to the owner** Yes, I can see the reviews you have online, looks like they are from the couples. This was never the concern. As stated in the original message, your DJ was great with my friends getting married, it was their disrespect to everyone else! If it happened once, I'm sure it's happened many times.

Everything from the initial consultation, to the planning calls, and the online planning tools took all of the stress away from the process. We are so glad we chose DJ Charlie Clean for our wedding day! Mark was so supportive throughout the entire process, and his online planning tools were so helpful to ensure our day ran smoothly. His sample timeline was so helpful, and it was even more helpful that the online tools included a spot that we could build our own timeline and print it for the other vendors who required it on our wedding day as well. We also loved the music database and that we could choose our "must play songs" (as well as do not play if we had wanted to), as well as the songs for all of the different wedding day events (ie. bouquet toss, signing, etc). Having the list of songs other people chose for the specific events was super helpful as well. On the day of the wedding, our DJ, Riley, was a hit! Once the dancing started, the dance floor wasn't empty once! He catered to guests of all ages, and kept everyone dancing all night and having a blast! We can't thank DJ Charlie Clean enough for making our wedding day so special! If you are questioning whether to go with them on your wedding day, do it! My husband and I hired DJ Charlie Clean for our May 2019 wedding in Guelph and cannot say enough good things about Mark and his team. Mark was always professional, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping us make our wedding day exactly how we wanted it. The online tools his company provides for planning were extremely easy to use and captured every important detail to ensure a smooth day. They definitely know what they are doing! Mark was easy to work with, contacting us regularly to make sure we were doing ok and checking in if we needed help. He always made himself available when we needed him and was knowledgeable in the overall wedding planning process, providing extra tips that didn't necessarily only involve the DJ/MC role. He went above and beyond to help put my mind at ease when we encountered some unexpected changes working with our venue, going out of his way to attend additional meetings and even coming the day of our wedding to ensure all was well. The DJ and coordinator that came with the package we chose were phenomenal (Riley & Candace). The music was exactly what we wanted and Riley did a great job MC'ing. I was looking for the BEST DJ/MC team that was very personable affordable and fun! After interviewing several DJ teams I definitely needed to book DJ Charlie Clean! The other companies we spoke to didn't seem to care and didn't give us much information when we had several questions and requests.. Mark has excellent customer service and a great team from start to finish!. He answered all of our questions and ensured our guest songs were played, our edited first dance we sent to the team was played and he kept checking in on us leading up to the big day! On the day we had a DJ named Tim who was excellent! He was very personable, great with the kids in our wedding party and ensured everyone was included. During the night he even came up to me as I sat down around 1am. He asked if I wanted to hear another song as I was sitting he was worried I was bored. I had to laugh and tell him that my feet were just on fire from dancing so much that I needed a break!!! Would definitely recommend this company. They are really nice and a lot of fun to work with.

We booked DJ Charlie Clean for our wedding on August 4, 2018, and our guests haven’t stopped raving about the music since the reception. Mark is the owner of the company and guided us through the consultation and the planning website. Mark was patient, professional and an absolute delight to talk to- you can tell he loves what he does and is well versed in weddings. Absolutely lovely to deal with from start to finish! Most of the contact was through email or phone calls and that was just perfect (allowed me to work around my schedule, without having to drive around with a 1 year old). The website they used was a great tool to organize songs and the actual timeline of the entire wedding. I was helped along with my timeline and what would and what would not work. And on the night of the wedding, Dino was just fabulous! Everyone had such a blast and he dealt with my crazy family with a smile! Even ran after my daughter who seemed to sneak away without anyone noticing! All in all, such a great experience!
