Last-minute stay overnight. The staff was excellent in checking us in quickly. The room was clean and very comfortable to sleep in. Nice surprise to see a hot complimentary breakfast the next morning and it was also very good. I would definitely stay here again

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The lady at the check-in desk on Aug 15 afternoon was very pleasant and quick. The common areas are clean. The room is amazing. The ceilings are very highly which makes the room seem huge. I love the window covering. It’s not the gross curtain that doesn’t really block out light. (See pic) The AC and bathroom fan are efficient and very quiet. The bathroom toiletries are in refillable fixtures (which is so environmentally friendly) and the soaps/shampoos are of good quality (first time in a long time I used the hotel soap vs my own that I usually bring). The bed: comfortable king with lots of pillow choices (which I didn’t use since I bring my own). BUT my favorite.... the comforter cover actually covers the comforter and I know I will not see or accidentally touch the, usually, very disgusting comforter. GREAT JOB Holiday Inn.!!! The bedsheets are also actually soft, not the scratchy, noisy kind. The rest of the room is simple but very well and ergonomically designed. I love the solid headboard, because this way I can sanitize it. Good WIFI speed and lots of plugs. My only recommendation would be if the bathroom night light (I love this concept) would be yellow or red. That way it doesn’t wake me up at night. So they’ve thought of everything in this hotel rooms it seems.

Travel all over North America and am noted for my reviews on travel. This hotel fits in with standards set from HIH. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool well taken care of as well as the grounds. The complimentary breakfast was prepared above normal. Very tidy and clean. As for price well within range as they do offer discounts. Everything was great except the quality of food. Everything was cold. Sausages, bacon, potatoes, eggs. Coffee super strong. YOU ARE STILL USING PLASTIC. Time for proper cutlery and dishes. Gananoque pretty much dies in the winter. Very few restaurants open and those that are, are a little pricey.

My wife and I decided to take a break in our travels and checked into this excellent property. The staff were very professional and helpful. Our room was well lit, spacious and clean. I bring my gf here whenever I can. We love this place. It's real nice and clean and there's a casino thats not that far away, and maybe you'll have luck as I did. I highly recommend a suite here. It comes with a separate bedroom with french doors along with a couch, table, bar, and more. You also get a big flat screen tv above a fireplace, and best of all, you get a mirrored corner with a beautiful hot tub bath tub with jets, and I can tell it's big enough to hold 3. The only thing that's missing is a stripper pole. ???? Now that's an awesome weekend.

We stayed here about two months ago and it was lovely. The room was really spacious and it came with an amazing hot tub. The room was clean and service was great. We had breakfast there as well and it was good- they have machine where you make your own fresh pancakes. I had quite a few..! If you are in the area, I definitely recommend. I had issues with the room that was assigned to me. However the management team was kind enough to give a credit back for the inconvinience. One suggestion, and this is for Holiday Inn franchise in general is to allow clients to check in early so they do not lose out on a room and get handicap room.
