The Man From Hell

Extremely rude reception. Cut us off. Made us feel stupid by not knowing what they meant by saying we were 'numberx'. I wish they had competition so we didnt have to return.

Went to the walk in clinic today (over a week after they told me to come back; to give them extra time) for my results, only to hear from the doctor they were never sent and this happens frequently. So I went to lifelabs after trying their horrible automated phone service and they rudely told me they couldn't give me the results to bring to the doctor. Meanwhile, online there is an exclamation mark in a warning symbol next to my results (which are only partially there because apparently the only info you can check out yourself is the stuff that doesn't matter) and I completely wasted my afternoon with no clue what to do next. Your system is beyond flawed, guess I will just wait to die of whatever this means, you can all bend over and grab ankle I'm sure people are dying all over town waiting on results that never come. Also, my buddy was in there a week earlier, the girl with the big forehead mangled her arm with a needle it was bruised for a week with broken blood vessels to her elbow only to get incomplete results that say not enough blood was taken, what a joke. I've written some bad reviews around Timmins but this one takes the prize congratulations!

Appointment for my daughter 8 years old at 4:10pm and we've been waiting till they close at 4:30pm and even patients came after us they had their tests. Finally I spoke with another nurse and surprisingly she don't know why we are waiting?? When you meet unprofessional nurse you are in trouble.

My husband had an appointment today at 10:05. He was taken at 11:20. He came out of the building at 11:40. Why do we bother to make appointments. Unfortunately this is not the first time. Very frustrating!!!

I have never been to such an inaccessible lab before. I've had my blood done twice there but had to go 4 times to get it done twice. The first time the woman was incredibly rude. I had just moved from Manitoba to Kenora and I handed the woman my Manitoba health card and she loudly said "oh from MANITOBA" While everyone around stared. This was during the height of covid stigma and it made me feel incredibly overwhelmed and unwelcomed. The other times I have had to attempt getting bloodwork done I've arrived to hear "oh we're only taking appointments today" there was nobody in the building. Nobody getting blood done except me. To be the only lab in the city and to randomly not allow walk-ins isn't accessable for so many vulnerable parts of our community who don't have access to booking online or calling to make an appointment. Overall I've had been negative experiences with their professionalism and how they operate.
