My husband and I used Mel for our October 2020 wedding at Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery and she completely exceeded our expectations. We first fell in love with Mel’s work at the First Look Wedding Show and knew we had to talk to her! When I first reached out to Mel I quickly realized I did not know much about florals but Mel was able to figure out my vision and bring it to life. She worked with us through one of my most challenging years of our lives, getting married during a global pandemic is no easy feat but Mel made it so much easier. She was so easy to work with and so accommodating and flexible. She rolled with all of our changes as the regulations continually changed as our wedding date neared. She made sure our wedding vision came to life despite all of the regulations in place! If this isn’t enough to convince you .. did I mention she was made bouquets and boutonnieres for our 20 person bridal party and family!? She is committed to ensuring that every detail of your florals are absolutely perfect! She created a breathtaking ceremony arch for us, exquisite arrangements to line the aisle, unbelievable floral and foliage arrangements to run along all of our tables, incredible foliage arrangements to hang from the chandeliers and on our signage, the most adorable floral crowns for our flower girls, simple and sophisticated boutonnieres for our handsome groomsmen and family and stunning bouquets for myself and my beautiful bridesmaids. She even provided some additional florals for our photographer to use for our detail shots and our venue to use for our cake! I was blown away by the beauty of all of it. Everything was created with such care and detail to ensure it was all absolutely perfect! I cannot thank Mel enough for all she did to make my dream wedding vision come to life!

Unfortunately had a scheduled phone consult and they cancelled half hour before the appointment. We then rescheduled and they didn't answer at all! I left a voicemail and haven't heard back and heard no explanation! It is unprofessional and we were disappointed and disrespected in our time twice. Fortunately there are plenty of other floral vendors that have been happy to assist us in the Niagara Region.

I changed my mind, sent many emails to her with questions and adjustments, asked her opinion and she always answered promptly and was mindful of my budget and the look I wanted for my wedding. I would highly recommend Mel for all your floral needs! My husband and I hired Lush Florals for our wedding on June 5, 2021. Mel was very quick to respond and was very helpful when first going through all the wedding florals we would need for our wedding day. Mel sent a detailed proposal after our initial conversation, which outlined all specifics of each floral arrangement. As our wedding day got closer, the restrictions of COVID-19 continued to change, however Mel remained flexible and accommodating. She put together the most beautiful arrangements for our intimate ceremony and reception, which completely exceeded our expectations. On the day of our wedding, the weather was quite windy, which resulted in the ceremony arch and arch arrangement blowing over. Mel did not hesitate to put in extra time and effort to fix the arrangement for us and made sure everything was perfect before our ceremony began. I tried to book with Lush Florals for my wedding in September 2020, and after sending multiple emails, I never got a response so I ended up booking with Country Basket. Once I booked with another florist, I emailed Lush to just let them know that they no longer needed to put a quote together for me as I have booked with someone else. I then got an email back about 25 minutes later from them.. which was the first email I had gotten from them. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding in about a years time.

We booked Melanie for our wedding flowers after seeing her beautiful portfolio, and knew she would be able to put something spectacular together for us, and she blew us away!! Although Covid got in the way of our original plans, Mel was super flexible with us and was able to bring to life our new plans just a few weeks out of our new wedding date! She was extremely responsive and professional and I cannot recommend her enough! On to the flowers, they were simply stunning. Her vision, creativity and colour arranging was on point and she really exceeded my expectations with what she put together! We started working with Mel 2 years before the wedding took place. She was so accommodating since we lived out of town and made communication through email (which I prefer) go so smooth. I knew exactly what I wanted the floral to look like and by showing her photos, telling her the colours I liked, and the budget we wanted to stay within she made everything work. Flowers really make a large impact and ours were beyond stunning. Mel was at the Inn early enough that the bouquets were able to be photographed while the bridal party was still in hair and makeup. She does all of the set up and even moved our extremely large at least 15 foot floral arrangement from the ceremony site to the reception site (which was a 20 minute drive). The arrangements were breathtaking I can’t speak highly enough about the quality. Mel and her team made my wedding vision a reality.
