Very nice venue for a wedding. Has both outdoor and indoor spaces for ceremony and the reception. Food served is well prepared and fresh. You can get an open bar or a cash bar depending on the type of event you want. Overall, a very nice and large facility.

Had my wedding at Roma this past weekend. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my (now) husband booked the wedding 1 month out from the date we wanted. I cannot believe how accommodating, professional/kind Roma was throughout the whole process. Sean is amazing, and we had Samantha + Michele as our coordinator and she was truly awesome!! Highly highly recommend...the wedding was gorgeous, tons of food and we've gotten endless amounts of positive feedback about the night!! I don't have photos yet but heres a couple from the day. It poured all day, but Roma was quick to accommodate plan changes and make the whole night fun and seamless!

So, I've lived in St. Catharines my whole life, and I've never been to Club Roma. :-P Go figure. Nice place, we were in the Starlight Ballroom, and I found the room to be particularly neat. Lunch was quite good, we were there for a Chamber of Commerce event, so we had speakers that were also very interesting. I'll have to try to attend other functions here. :-)

Attended banquet Decent food. Salad and pasta served family style. So so martinis, cocktails and wine - wine presumably picked by hosts or part of package. Midnight pizza was cold/cool and so so nachos, toppings good. Okay service. Place starting to show but if it's age. Dont know price so can't judge value and quality for money

The food came out late, was slow in getting out to us, and there was NOT enough food. This was a fancy lunch, but was served FAMILY STYLE--bowls brought out to us for everything from antipasto to salad to veggies and chicken and potatoes. A lousy way to serve food but is easier on the kitchen, so no reason for the food to take so long to come out. The food was lousy--dry chicken, which were legs, wings, or half backs with little meat on them. (No breasts at all.) When the plates were passed around, two people got NO chicken and most of us hardly any veggies until I got up and tracked down a server and asked for more chicken and veggies. We paid $35 each for THAT??? Definitely Not enough servers. The coffee and cake did not come out until 1:35 and by then most of the people had left (the event started at 11:45 am and ended at 1:30. Main meal did not get to us until 12:45 or so. We had to eat through the entire speaker's presentation, which made it hard to hear or, if you were facing the wrong way, you could not see it unless you kept turning around after every bite. The servers (only two for over 150 people) were very pleasant and doing their best but the food was not very good (dry chicken, blah veggies), very small quantities, and not imaginative at all. I left still hungry and very disgruntled. Very unpleasant experience.

Absolutely stellar experience at Club Roma this past weekend. We were all a bit curious how a venue would balance keeping everybody safe with COVID while also providing a great experience. 12/10, this was the best wedding I've ever been to, and not just because the bride and groom are two of my favourite people on the planet. The outdoor ceremony was stunning, and the reception was just as lovely. It felt very secluded, yet we were a minute from a house in the 'burbs. The food was quite literally the best I've ever had in my life. I'm not referring just to a wedding meal; the food was an experience. The staff was beyond accommodating of a bunch of people at their first event since March 2020. Club Roma is definitely a top contender for my wedding now. Keep up the stellar work, guys!!

We attended a wedding last night and the staff did a wonderful job. They were on top of things and the servers and bartender were amazing. Covid weddings are tough but Club Roma really did an excellent job to honour the couple. We wore a mask to go to the bar, bathroom and dance floor (basically anytime you leave your table) Supper was sufficient but could have been rolled out a little better. Salad came last. Our waitress was proactive and came to get our special diet orders. Be patient, as they are serving a lot of people and your food may come several minutes after others at your table.

Our wedding took place at Club Roma on October 8, 2021. Our ceremony was in the Tuscan Garden and our reception was in the Garden Pavilion. This was our 2nd date at Club Roma after having to postpone in May 2021 due to covid. They were very understanding of the postponement and we were not charged any fees for moving the date and our original pricing was honoured which we really appreciated. Our coordinator Michele was very helpful, friendly, and efficient at our tasting, meetings, and on the day of the wedding. The serving staff and night manager on the day of were also great! Club Roma was flexible and helpful in regards to many aspects of the wedding, including outside decor deliveries, setup, and etc. So many guests remarked about how beautiful the space was and how they loved the option to stand out by the fire tables instead of being stuck in a traditional hall. The package was a great value and guests also raved about the food! We would definitely recommend this wedding venue!

I went for a pasta dinner fundraiser and the small garden salad was the highlight of the meal. It was fresh, which has been an issue for me at take-out restaurants lately. The pasta although there was a lot of it was dry. Barely any sauce. I had to make my own sauce to finish the meal. There were two meatballs and a piece of sausage, long enough that it should've been cut up throughout the penne.

We had our wedding here last night. Victoria our planner was amazing in helping us find budget friendly options during the planning process and day of she checked in through out the night to make sure everything was perfect! Our servers were so accommodating and even helped provide a last minute dietary restriction. Our bar tender Patty was the star of the night with all our guests. He was doing tricks with the bottles and helped finding a very specific beer choice for a groomsman! He made some very delicious shots also and seemed to always know the right choice of drink! The staff and starlight room made this an amazing night my husband and I will always cherish! I picture below was taken by our photographer 12 creek photography.

Best friend got married here recently. Really beautiful venue. They opted for outdoor due to covid so it was cold at night. Wish their permanent heaters were working, we just had patio style heaters. And the bridal room is quite small. The staff is fast and efficient to serve dinner and they had a hot beverage station. Beautiful grounds as well. There are noise restrictions after 11pm but this didn't effect us, I don't think the noise carries, it's more of a warning that you COULD be asked to turn it down.

We attended a celebration for my husbands work. I didn't realize how big the gazebo was and the room and beautiful surroundings. You could have a wedding of up to 250 people seated for ceremony. Highly recommend Club Roma's outdoor location for a wedding or and big event.

Many people don’t realize that they also offer a gorgeous outdoor pavilion, with manicured gardens, and majestic trees that form a canopy over the ceremony space. Another great space for photos is The Gemini Ballroom. At the glamorously decorated head table, you’ll feel like the Queen and King of the castle. The draped ceiling swag creates a classic canopy effect that looks great in photos as well. We love working with Club Roma and are excited to work with them again this upcoming wedding season!

We had our wedding in the Starlight Room in August 2016. The staff was incredible - very helpful for all of our needs throughout the entire wedding process and great on the day of the wedding. Our guests loved the bartenders, who were fun and professional throughout the evening. The Starlight Room is absolutely beautiful and we would highly recommend it for weddings. It sets a unique atmosphere that would be hard to match at any other venue. We had the prime rib as our main course and we are still getting compliments on how good all the food was. Club Roma was the perfect spot for our wedding and we couldn't have had a more amazing day!

Every single time I've been at an event here, the bartenders have been awful. I attended 2 weddings and the bartenders were giving out trays full of shots to be passed around without attending who was taking them. Bartenders do not cut off people that need to be cut off. Most recently I had a bartender allow someone else to put shots on my tab, and still make me pay for them.

We booked club Roma for our wedding reception and ceremony this summer. The minute I walked to the Starlight room... I knew that was my dream wedding venue! The garden is also very beautiful and tastefully landscaped and offered at no cost for our ceremony, including speakers and other decorations. The general manager Sean was very knowledgeable and extremely accommodating and responsive! Our wedding coordinator Juliana was a gem! She not only ordered brand new linens for our wedding table, answered all of my numerous questions, but provided the best recommendations for vendors to use (my greatest suggestion... do consult with her before you book any). Everything was taken care of for us and we felt at ease through the whole planning process! The day was beautiful and it passed in a glimpse but we will forever treasure the memories of the great day and venue we had! All of our guests loved everything from the atmosphere to the food and the music and had an amazing time! Thank you Club Roma for making this day unforgettable for us!

At the same function $35 and I got a chicken wing for lunch. 1/2 potato and one tablespoon of mixed veg. We asked the near non existent waitress for more and were told there was no more. So I was starving! Worst meal ever. Last night at the Ambassador ball it was a complete repeat of the same poor dinner. The men at our table were starving one actually got the chicken wing only. Again the server said no to more. So either Club Roma is making a huge profit charging this much for a substandard dinner. Either way two strikes and you are out. I will not recommend you to anyone. So much for a once excellent venue. Not sure what happened. What a shame.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Club Roma this past September. We booked almost 2 years ahead of time! The second we walked into the Starlight Ballroom we knew that was where we wanted to hold our reception! It is such a beautiful facility. The general manager Sean was fantastic. He made sure we knew all of our options when it came to pricing, and budgeting. Juliana was our coordinator and she was fantastic! The food was great, and we got no complaints about ANYTHING. I have been to my share of weddings, and usually the food is good but the reception sucked. Or the reception was amazing but the food was ok. Everything was PERFECT. There were a few bumps in the road the day of but they were corrected immediately. The price is right for everything that is included and they are always willing to work with you! I would highly recommend Club Roma for future brides and grooms, or anyone just looking for an event space.

Their customer service is the best I've seen in a banquet facility, in the Niagara region. They were very kind, patient and accomodating! The service was just as great, and food was delicious! Having opted for sit-down-service, I assumed it meant individual plated dinners. (Thats what it was at every other place) I was wrong. It was to be served family style. My next concern was there may not be enough food. Was I ever wrong! There was plenty of food! We hosted a party of 55, in the Anziani room. Our experience was 5+ and will hold future events here! Thank u Sean, and Victoria! (& all the wonderful staff who helped out at our event!)

I wanted to start by thanking the team at Club Roma for all of the hard work that went in to the set up of our wedding. Our décor and details for placement were extensive, and Monika and the team did an incredible job. It looked truly SO beautiful and the attention to detail was so appreciated. Club Roma was absolutely amazing to work with - especially through the craziness of covid postponements. During the planning process Monika was absolutely amazing. The amount of emails, questions, phone calls and the patience she took to answer every single question was so appreciated. Her service and expertise to help us plan our day was 110%. Our wedding didn’t feel like another number, it felt special and unique all thanks to Monika’s help and guidance. As our guests arrived and throughout the entire evening there were comments about how beautiful the venue was. Guests felt like they were transported to Italy - and coming from my Italian family you know it’s genuine. The lights, the atmosphere, the food and drinks were outstanding. The Aperol spritz at the cocktail hour were a huge hit and just added to the overall beautiful Italian atmosphere. The passed canapés and meal were fantastic. The food was hot, served at an appropriate time, and plentiful! The bar service was awesome - and especially patient with the amount of drinks being ordered in large groups. The servers were amazing!! They did such a great job taking care of our guests. Our server brought my husband and I a bottle of sparkling wine in its own ice bucket for us to have at our seats. She also covered our plates as we got busy during dinner with conversations and photos so that our meal was still warm when we returned to our seats. All the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The value for money at Club Roma is exceptional. Our wedding was in the pavilion. The grounds are meticulously upkept, with lots of areas for pictures, and there is ample parking for guests. No need to stress about a rain backup as the venue is completely covered. Your guests will have a fabulous time, and you will be thrilled that you selected a venue that takes care of every detail for you and provides an all encompassing price for your convenience. Our family and friends left with memories that will last a lifetime and many amazing compliments about our wedding. Thank you so much Monika & the Club Roma team!!

We got married here September 14 2019 and it was perfect! Our ceremony was in Tuscan garden and our reception was under the Pavillion. It was the most beautiful setting! All of our guests thought so to! Our wedding coordinator Megan was great!! Super easy to talk to and I could email her whenever to ask questions and she was always very helpful. All the staff there were very accommodating and helpful. The food was amazing to! They are great at what they do.

Went to the monthly fish and chips night (in the member's room-open to public). I must say it was the best fish and chips I have ever had, but that was on one visit. I will have to go again to check consistency. My only issue is we had to wait 10 minutes to place an order then wait almost 1 hour to get the food. We had to finally ask for it when the place was nearing empty. Food is a 5 star but organization is a zero. Went back the following month. Had to wait over 2 hours to get our fish and chips. Will not be returning. Apparently, the excuse is they have other events in one of their ballrooms and have to share the kitchen. My advice to them: Don't schedule a F&C night if you can't handle it!!!!

Absolutely horrible, I have been to this location 3 times this year unfortunately and it just keeps getting worse. Tonight I attended for a private party and not only did the hall not cook enough food leaving my table unfed for 45 minutes in the middle of the dinner service when I approached the waitress to ask what was happening (since they never even have the decency to inform us just completely skipped us and started serving all other tables with the next course) I was yelled at in my face and told the food was coming in 5 minutes just to find out it was a 45 minute wait. By the time we got the food it was hardly cooked and tasted like boiled chicken. I am completely disgusted in this hall and not only will I never have anything for myself there I will no longer ever attend as a guest as I hate to think of my friends or family waisting their money on such horrible food and service. To any future people looking to book with them stay far away and do not let their looks suck u in.

Attended a workplace planning session I the Starlight Room. Quite a lovely space with an interactive mural with shooting stars. It would be very lovely for a wedding or other social event. However the low ambient lighting was a bit difficult for a workplace planning session. As for the food, it was excellent.

Club Roma was amazing to work with! As a covid bride, I was very overwhelmed with so many uncertainties. Club Roma gave me comfort when needed, accommodated the ever changing plans, & were always there when I needed to bounce ideas or ask for help/direction with something. My wedding planner Anna was my rock. Without her, things would not have gone as smoothly and wonderful as they did. She is kind, generous, knowledgeable and most importantly so hard working. My favourite thing was the food! Usually Club Roma lasagna is my absolute favourite, but when we had our wedding meal, everything was phenomenal! The stuffed chicken with asiago cream sauce was exceptional. When planning your wedding, I highly recommend Club Roma!

We had to push our wedding date and also change our venue. We randomly came across Club Roma and went to check it out. We first met with Sean who showed us around, and was very welcoming. We had our ceremony at the Tuscan Garden and reception in the Garden Pavilion a week ago. We worked with coordinators Michele and Nicole, who were both great to work with. It was a very short period of planning (1.5 months) and Michele and Nicole was very accommodating, professional and made the planning easy. They responded to our inquiries timely. The ceremony and reception space was beautifully decorated and set up. And the food was AMAZING. Lots of positive comments from family and friends. The serving and bar staff was great! Highly recommend!

My nephew and his new bride held their wedding and reception here, on July 28th. Everything was wonderful! A beautiful and spacious outdoor setting. From the appetizers and cocktails before the nuptials, to the great dinner, very attentive, polite and friendly staff and service. The outdoor wedding was held in a surrounding of trees, flowers, brooks, fountains. Wonderful, massive outdoor dining and dancing. A great experience. Thank you, Club Roma!
