Having Amanda help with our wedding planning was a dream! She helped us every step of the way and with her styling talent, helped turn our vision into a reality in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. On the big day, she brought such calm to what could have been chaos! The ONLY thing that could have perhaps gone a little smoother is if we sought out to book a couple of our vendors earlier. But with only a year to plan it was tight. All in all, it was a perfect day, and we made a new friend! :)

We first met Amanda Cowley at the First Look Niagara Wedding Show in March 2016, and we instantly hit it off!! After our first official meeting we both knew we wanted her to plan our wedding in July 2017 at Honsberger Estates in Niagara on the Lake. Amanda’s detailed approach to planning ensured we stayed on track with our planning and were able to bring our ideas to life in order to create a picture perfect day. She has an innate ability to take a vision and turn it into reality by building on your initial idea and crafting the perfect setting and installation approach at your wedding venue. Amanda was always responsive to any emails/texts/calls and helped to keep both of us grounded as our day approached, it also always felt like I was working with a dear friend, which made wedding planning feel like a breeze. On the day of our wedding Amanda ensured that everything was perfect and that the day went off without a hitch! She looked after any questions/concerns that came up from our guests and other vendors and kept us both calm and focused on celebrating each other. By having Amanda there she allowed us to enjoy our day without worrying about any of the details that we had previously planned. Amanda is a wonderful person with a heart of gold and I would recommend her to any bride and groom that are looking for a planner for their upcoming wedding day!

We were totally overwhelmed when we started planning our big day. But just like a fairy godmother, Amanda made the stress just disappear! Amanda really took the time to understand our vision for our day. She kept us on track and on schedule. She listened to all our concerns and walked us through every aspect of planning with so much patience, kindness, and, best of all, a sense of humour. She was able to point us towards the best vendors for us -- and they were all incredible as well! It helps that she has impeccable taste. We had a lot of different vendors arriving the day of and Amanda's excellent communication kept everything under control. Our wedding day required a lot of set up, both the day before and the day of, and Amanda was there every step of the way -- we were in awe of her work ethic! There are not enough words to describe how amazing it is to work with Amanda. First off, she is the sweetest, funniest, kindest gal out there. And aside from the obvious skills you’re looking for in a wedding planner, isn’t it most important that you LIKE the people that are going to be hanging around you on such an important day? My husband and I hit it off with Amanda right away, and knew we could trust her with our big day. She is extremely organized. She deals with your other vendors in the most polite yet strong way (which, let’s be honest - there’s always a bit of vendor drama with a wedding and it’s nice to have someone else handle that, and more gracefully than a stressed out bride/groom to be would). She had incredible taste and connections to beautiful vendors with also incredible taste. Did I mention she is a lovely person? She has ideas. Ideas that don’t come to the less than creative. She respects your time and budget. I’m forgetting things. Truly, she becomes your person. Hire her, no question.

I seriously cannot say enough positive things about the experience of working with her--she is such a nice human, has an amazing eye for design, and is the most organized, hard-working, and dependable person you could ever hope to have on your team. I was planning a wedding from three provinces away and she made the process so much less stressful. She helped me find the best vendors in the Niagara region, reached out to those vendors on my behalf, and worked so hard to ensure that everything the vendors were doing would come together seamlessly on the day of. On my wedding day, I didn't have to worry about anything (which is saying a lot since our venue was simply a barn with zero employees to help us do anything). She got my vision and made it come together in a way that totally exceeded my expectations. I literally could not have had this wedding without her.
